KENTISH CAT SOCIETY CH. SHOW. 171009. JUDGE BETTY SHINGLETON.

My thanks to Helen, Sean, Sue and the Committee for my invitation to judge and the kind hospitality. I had a very enjoyable day, lovely cats, and the very capable help of Mark Pierman – thanks Mark – look forward to the next time.

AOC SLH GRAND CHAMPION MALE.

GRAND CH. CERT. BARLETTA’S CH ISHCUS JAMES BOND. 64 31. 070707.

Overall nicely balanced head, square muzzle with firm chin, cheeks fairly full and high cheek bones, nose of uniform width with a shallow concave curve when viewed in profile. Large tall ears, wide at the base tapering to appear pointed at the tip, set high and well apart, very good eye shape and expression, full and round spaced wide apart with a slightly oblique aperture and set. Large body, solid and muscular, long back and substantial legs with large round paws, tail a little short. Very good coat texture and presentation, very impressive with his jet black and sparkling white coat. Very sweet boy.

RES. GRAND CH. CERT. WHITMARSH’S CH COONFLAKES ACE OF SPADES. 64 15. 290108.

A young boy, looking good today still needing a little more time to reach full maturity. I would like to see the muzzle a little stronger, cheeks fairly full with high cheek bones, uniform width to nose with a shallow concave curve when viewed in profile. Large tall ears, wide at the base tapering to appear pointed at the tip, set high and well apart, very good eye shape full and round spaced well apart. Very well grown and showing substantial legs and large round paws, tail is very short. Coat very good texture and presentation, COLOUR???????

AOC SLH GRAND CHAMPION FEMALE.

Very well balanced head, muzzle square with firm chin, cheeks fairly full with high cheek bones, nose of uniform width with a shallow concave curve when viewed in profile. Large tall ears, wide at the base tapering to appear pointed at the tip, set high but well apart, very good eye shape and expression, full and round spaced wide apart with a slightly oblique aperture. Very good conformation and condition with substantial bone. Coat texture and presentation very good, clearly defined tabby markings with a warm agouti ground colour, sparkling white. Such a gorgeous girl!

2ND. CERT. W/H. STANTON’S CH RAGADDICT MIAMORIA. 66 31. 66 31. 021007.

Broad head with flat plane and width between ears, cheeks well developed, rounded well developed muzzle, firm chin, medium length nose with gentle dip and slightly retrousse at tip. Ears medium in size set wide with a slight forward tilt, large well opened eyes slightly oblique and set well apart, good colour. I would like to see a little more substance to the body, legs quite fine bone, balanced tail. Coat silky texture and well presented, mask showing white inverted “V”, bib chest and under body white, back legs white to the under body, points even seal. I was sorry to w/h the certificate today.

BLUE POINT BIRMAN ADULT MALE.

1ST. CC. BOB. BARKER’S CH GLOANRON BLUBYU. 260508.

A young boy still needing time to reach full maturity. Overall nicely balanced head, scull strong, broad and rounded, nose medium in length with a slight dip in profile, cheeks quite well developed, and tapering chin. Ears medium in size and spaced well apart, eyes almost round and showing good colour. Good body weight, I would like to see stronger bone and the tail a little longer. Coat very well presented silky texture, not yet carrying his winter coat, points an even blue. Good gloves, one gauntlet just a little untidy. A sweet natured boy, at eighteen months not yet at his full maturity.

RED, CREAM & TORTIE POINT BIRMAN ADULT FEMALE.

BOB. 13c5. YEOMAN’S CH ESAYA PURFIX PURINDOORS. 010406.

Scull strong broad and rounded, nose medium in length with a slight dip in profile, cheeks full and round, slightly tapering chin. Ears medium in size and spaced well apart, eyes very good shape and expression showing good colour. Overall very good body shape and condition, long body, medium length legs thick-set, paws short & strong, tail rather short. Silky coat texture very well presented, even points colour. Good gloves, gauntlets slightly untidy.

1ST. CC. YEOMAN’S PURINDOORS TIMEWILLTELL. 13C6. 070508.

A very pretty young girl, still needing time to fully develop. Nicely balanced head, scull quite broad and rounded, nose medium in length with slight dip in profile, cheeks yet to fully develop, tapering chin. Medium sized ears, eyes very good shape and colour. Body good shape, still needing to fully develop and muscle up, fairly strong bone, tail short. Coat texture very good and well presented, points seal intermingled with shades of red. Good gloves and gauntlets.

TABBY & TORTIE TABBY POINT BIRMAN ADULT FEMALE.

1ST. CC. BOB. SIMMONDS CH GAYEMAUDI RINGARINGA ROSY. 13c11. 010405.

Overall nicely balanced head, scull strong broad and rounded, nose medium in length with slight dip in profile, cheeks full and round with tapered chin. Ears medium in size and spaced well apart, expressive eyes showing good colour. Very good body shape and condition, strong bone, tail a little short. Coat very well presented with silky texture, points showing seal brown markings on pale brown agouti background, body colour pale beige. Good gloves and gauntlets.

2ND. COPESTAKE’S POLLYMANDIANT MARTHA. 13c11. 090308.

A young girl needing time to reach full maturity, very small still – quite a “kitten-cat”. Overall nicely balanced head, broad and rounded scull, nose medium in length with slight dip in profile, cheeks not fully developed. Ears medium in size well placed, eyes good shape and colour. Body needing time to fully develop, slender legs, balanced tail. Coat very well presented, silky texture, points showing tabby markings. Good gloves and gauntlets.

OCICAT ADULT FEMALE.

BOB. CAUNTER’S GR CH THICKTHORN LOTUS BLOSSOM. 73b. 031106.

I have recently judged this girl at the Ocicat Show. Mature with nicely balanced head, overall lovely condition with good conformation, very good coat quality showing the required pattern and colouring. Sweet personality.

BROWN MARBLED BENGAL ADULT MALE.

1ST. CC. BOB. STRYDEM & GARCIA’S ADATESH RED. 300308.

Broad medium wedge with rounded contours, profile showing gentle curve from forehead to bridge of nose, the nose is large and broad with slightly puffy nose leather showing a very slight concave curve, muzzle full and broad with rounded strong chin and pronounced whisker pads, neck thick and muscular in proportion to body. Ears medium size, wide at base and rounded tips, very good eye shape and expression showing good colour. Body long and sleek in very good condition, medium length legs, large rounded paws, balanced tail. Coat very well presented, dense and soft to touch. Clearly defined facial markings, body showing a distinct pattern of swirling patches giving a distinct impression of marbling, accentuated by varying shades of colour, tummy showing spotting, legs broken horizontal lines, tip of tail showing dark colour. A very sweet natured young lad.

SNOW SPOTTED BENGAL ADULT FEMALE.

1ST. CC. BOB. JENKINS KERRYDOWN VELVET MOON. 76b30. 150408.

Nicely balanced head, medium wedge with rounded contours, profile has gentle curve from the forehead to the bridge of the nose, nose large and broad with even width, slightly puffy nose leather, and strong muzzle. Ears medium size wide at base, expressive eyes showing good colour. Overall good body shape and condition, medium length legs, balanced tail. Coat well presented, not at its full winter density. Cream ground colour, showing light coloured spotting, eye rims, lips and nose leather outlined in black, dark tail tip.

DEVON REX NEUTER MALE.

1ST. PC. WAUGH’S MAGICAL GOMEZ. 33a30s. 170508.

Short broad wedge with high cheek bones, muzzle a little weak, firm chin good bite, short nose with definite stop, brow curving back to flat scull. Large ears set low and wide apart, tapering to rounded tips, large eyes oval shaped. Slender neck, body hard and muscular of medium length, broad chest, slim legs, long tapering tail. Coat well presented, waving a little loose today, with some guard hares along the spine line. Sweet temperament.

DEVON REX NEUTER FEMALE.

BOB. FEREDAY’S PR YASSASSIN LOVEME LILLITH. 33a36. 221206.

A lovely girl looking great today. Short broad wedge with high cheek bones, strong muzzle firm chin and good bite, well defined whisker break, short nose with definite stop, brow curving back to a flat scull. Large ears set low and wide apart tapering to rounded tips, expressive eyes with very good shape. Overall very good body shape and condition, slender neck, broad chest carried high on slim legs, balanced tail. Very good coat texture and presentation, waving just very slightly loose.

1ST.PC. FOWLER’S JONSCOTT YASMIN JAZZABELL. 33a30s. 230602.

Nicely balanced head, short broad wedge with high cheek bones, strong muzzle, firm chin good bite, well defined whisker pads, short nose with definite stop. Large ears set low and wide apart, eyes very good shape. Slender neck, body hard and muscular, slender legs and balanced tail. Coat well presented, well covered with coat showing waving.
