THE CHINCHILLA, SILVER TABBY & SMOKE CAT SOCIETY, SATURDAY, 6TH NOVEMBER, 2010

Many thanks go to Sue Kirk and the committee of the Chinchilla, Silver Tabby & Smoke Cat Society for their kind invitation to judge. My thanks also go to Coral Allam who kindly stewarded for me. Mam thanks so much for looking after me. It was a lovely show, with a great atmosphere. Lunch was excellent.

AC NON-PEDIGREE GRAND MASTER CLASS (IMPERIAL CLASS)

1 IMP Kitson GMC Smartie, Shorthair Tricolour (Calico) FN,

5 years old Very pretty female with very appealing features. She has tiny ears and large round very expressive eyes. Lovely profile. Super body weight and pleasing solid conformation. Coat has a super soft texture and presents beautiful patching. Red is rich ad vibrant in colour, whilst the black is dense. Very well shown.

GRAND CHAMPION EXOTIC MALE

1 GR CH FISHER GR CH OWLETTS CAT’S PYJAMAS, Black Silver Tabby (70 18) (02.08.2006)

Large mature male with a very good top of head, ears neat and nicely following the contour of the skull. Large round eyes, good orange colour; good for age. Short broad nose. Almost level bite. Excellent facial balance. Strong neck and shoulder muscling. Cobby body sat quite low on well formed legs and ending in well rounded paws. Short tail, well furnished and in overall balance with his body. Coat not quite at its best in terms of denseness and plushness at the moment. Good “M”, lines from eyes and over the back of the head. Central spine lines a little diffused – due to lack of coat. Butterfly and oysters present. Good necklaces and bracelets together with tail rings and spotting to tummy. Obviously very much a working boy. Nicely presented.

GRAND CHAMPION EXOTIC FEMALE

1 GR CH FISHER GR CH SHEERBLISS ENCHANTED LAYDEE, Tortie Smoke (70 36e) (16.10.2006)

Stunning female with an excellent top of head and very neat well placed ears. Large round eyes of a very good orange colour; again good for age. Short broad nose. Almost level bite. Excellent facial balance. Very solid cobby body sat low on short fat legs and ending in well rounded paws. Excellent muscling to neck and shoulders. Tail good length and in proportion to overall body. Coat quite dense and plush. Contrasts just beginning to come in. Tortie patterning very attractive, and presenting all shades of red. Another lovely exhibit who was well presented.

PEWTER/BLUE PEWTER KITTEN

1ST PEARSON SOOPURRKITS SILVERDESTINY, Black Pewter Male (53) (05.07.2010)

Beautiful exhibit with an excellent top of head and very neat well placed ears. Large, round deep copper eyes used to their full potential. Short broad nose, Level bite. Excellent facial balance. Super cobby body sat low on short fat well formed legs. Excellent body weight. Short well furnished tail. Coat has excellent length and is full and flowing. It is soft to touch. Coat silvery white with even black pewter mantling. Some slight shading is evident to his underneath. And there are some ghost tabby markings present to his face (“M” and lines) and legs which need to clear; but these should not detract from this lovely exhibit. Super presentation and lovely temperament.

GOLDEN PERSIAN KITTEN

1ST & BOB WITHHELD 2ND HARLE SIBIRICA GOLDEN MEKA, Female (54) (01.05.2010)

Very good top of head with neat well placed ears. Large round eyes of a sea green colour outlined in seal brown. Colour is still developing. Short broad nose. Brick red nose leather outlined in seal brown. Unfortunately this young lady’s mouth is off-centred. Lips seal brown. Strong muzzle and good chin. Needs a touch more fullness to her cheeks to achieve facial balance. Lovely cobby body shape. Excellent weight sat low on short fat legs. Chin, ear furnishings, stomach and chest pale apricot. Coat is mid apricot in colour. Tipping is light and even. Although it is slightly heavier to tail. Paw pads seal brown. What a shame about her mouth. A sweet baby who was nicely presented.

1ST TURNER-RUSSELL VIVALDI ANNALISA, Shaded Silver Female (70 55) (15.04.2007)

Very good top of head with very neat well placed ears nicely following the contours of the head. Large round deep blue green eyes, nicely outlined. Short broad nose. Almost level bite. Brick red nose leather nicely etched as are the lips. Attractive facial balance. Super cobby body sat low on short fat legs. Tail good length and in overall proportion to body with good furnishing. Coat could be a little more dense and plush. Undercoat silvery white with good even tipping down back and flanks. Tipping lighter to face and legs.

1ST FISHER OWLETTS JIM JAM, Red Silver Tabby Male (70 7d) (11.08.2009)

Excellent top of head with very neat well placed ears. Large round deep orange eyes. Short broad nose. Level bite. Superb facial balance. Excellent neck and shoulder muscling. Super cobby body sat low on short fat legs ending in well rounded paws. Excellent weight. Super dense, plush coat. Lovely silver undercoat, rich red tabby markings. Good “M”, lines from eyes and over the back of the head. Butterfly and central spine lines a little diffused. Good oysters, bracelets and necklaces. Huge cuddly teddy bear!

1ST MURRAY FINCHFIELD FAIRYTALE, Black Silver Tabby Female (70 7) (28.08.2008)

Lovely girl with a very good top of head and very neat well placed ears. Large round very expressive eyes of a deep orange colour. Short broad nose. Level bite. Excellent facial balance. Excellent cobby body sat low on short fat legs. Well rounded paws. Excellent neck and shoulder muscling. Coat quite dense and plush. Silvery white underneath nicely overlaid with black tabby markings. Good “M”, lines from eyes and over back of head. Three spine lines present. Nice butterfly and good oysters. Very good bracelets and necklaces. Tail rings a touch diffused. A pleasing young lady.

1ST BARNETT HONEYGEM BONBON IN BLACK, Black Smoke Male (6) (26.07.2010)

Appealing young man with an excellent top of head and very neat well placed ears. Large round eyes. Deep copper colour developing nicely. Short broad nose. Level bite. Excellent facial balance. Super cobby body sat low on short fat legs. Wealth of soft full coat. Undercoat colour developing. Mantle starting to present but not yet developed. Super full frill almost ash white in colour. (Coat appears almost upside down at present). Pleasure to handle.

2ND MURRAY BOBADELI SOLITAIRE, Red Silver Tabby Exotic Female (70 7d) (11.04.2010)

Very attractive female with a very good top of head and very neat well placed ears. Stunning large round deep copper eyes. Short broad nose. Level bite. Excellent facial balance. Excellent cobby body sat low on short fat legs. Coat dense and plush standing nicely away from the body. Good “M”, lines from eyes and lines over the back of the head together with good central spine lines. Prettily marked bracelets and necklaces. Good butterfly, oysters and tail rings.

Good top of head with well placed ears which are held just a touch tall and open at base at the moment. Large round eyes, colour still developing. Short broad nose. Good nose leather. Strong muzzle and chin. Needs just a touch more fullness to the cheeks to achieve overall facial balance. Cobby body sat low on short fat legs, ending in nicely rounded paws. Tail good length and in proportion to overall body. Coat dense and plush. Silvery white undercoat with even tipping.

Excellent top of head with very neat well placed ears nicely following the contours of the skull. Large round stunning bold eyes of excellent colour. Short broad nose. Level bite. Excellent facial balance. Super cobby body sat low on short fat legs, ending in well rounded paws. Excellent neck and shoulder muscling. Excellent spotted tabby markings overlaying silver white. Coat dense and plush.

AC NOVICE NEUTER

1ST WH 2ND CHALKLEY CH INKAHOOTS AIN’T MIZBEHAVIN, Golden Male (54) (15.09.2004)

Stunning boy with an excellent top of head and very neat well placed ears. Large round eyes of an excellent blue green colour, outlined in seal brown. Colour especially good for his age. Short broad nose. Good brick nose leather etched in seal brown. Level bite. Lips seal brown. Unfortunately his bite is somewhat undershot. Excellent facial balance. Super cobby body. Full soft flowing coat; beautiful apricot shade. Lovely even tipping. Paler apricot colouring to ear furnishings, chin, stomach and chest.

1ST PRIEST UK GR CH TREVORRY BOOBOO, Golden Male (54) (13.04.2003)

Stunning boy with an excellent top of head and very neat well placed ears. Stunning deep blue green eyes. Colour is especially good for his age. Nicely outlined in seal brown. I would prefer them to be a little bolder. Short broad nose, brick leather, nicely etched in seal brown. Level bite. Lips seal brown in colour. Excellent facial balance. Super cobby body sat low on short fat legs. Chin, ear furnishings stomach and chest pale apricot in colour. Wealth of coat, apricot in colour, overlaid with very light and even tipping.

2ND NEALE CUSHKA AUTUMN SERENADE, Chinchilla Female (10) (25.08.2008)

Lovely feminine Chinchilla lady with a very good top of head and very neat well placed ears. Large round deep blue green eyes, nicely rimmed in dark brown. Brick nose leather again nicely etched as are her lips. Excellent facial balance. Super cobby body sat low on short well formed legs. Wealth of soft, full flowing coat, pure white in colour, lightly tipped. Chin, ear furnishing, chest and stomach pure white with no tipping. Tipping even in distribution. A very pleasing lady to handle.

1ST FISHER OWLETTS BRUCE, Black Smoke Male (70 6) (24.06.2010)

Lovely Black Smoke Exotic kitten with an excellent top of head with very neat well placed ears, which nicely follow the contour of the skull. Large round eyes. Colour developing beautifully. Short broad nose. Bite marginally overshot at present. Excellent facial balance. Excellent cobby body sat low on short fat legs. Thick neck and shoulder muscling. Excellent dense plush coat. Undercoat is developing nicely as is mantle.

2ND NEALE CUSHKA JACKOFHEARTS, Chinchilla Male (10) (23.04.2010)

Very good top of head. Ears are well placed but are held at touch tall and open at the moment. Eyes are a good blue-green shade but they are somewhat almond in shape. Short broad nose. Good brick leather. Level bite. Good dark etching to eyes, nose and lips. Needs more strength to muzzle and chin and fullness to cheeks to achieve facial balance. Cobby body sat low on well formed legs. Coat is soft and full but is showing some tarnishing. Undercoat is pure white with pure white to chin, ear furnishings, chest and stomach. However, tipping is rather heavy especially to tail and spine areas.

Lovely large mature young lady with super facial balance and a lovely expressive face. Fantastic dense plush black coat. Shown to perfection.

1ST DAVIES SILVER BUTTONS, Short Hair Silver Tabby Female Neuter – 1 year 6 mths

Another super lady. Very impressive head, very regal. Large green eyes. Super facial expression giving her a very pretty look. Super sturdy body. Lovely texture to coat. Very well shown.

RESCUE KITTEN

1ST KITSON QUEENIE, Short Hair – Tricolour (Calico) Female – 16 weeks

Sweet little baby. Full of naughtiness. Lovely head profile. Very pretty eyes. Super coat patterning and lovely colours, rich and vibrant. Real cutie.

MOST APPEALING KITTEN

1ST TURNER-RUSSELL DONNIE, Long Hair – Black Shaded Silver Male – 5 months

Lovely baby, paddy pawing away for England! Absolutely full of it. Playing with anything that caught his eye including the next door exhibit. Sweet expression. Lovely appealing eyes. Almost too busy for a cuddle!
