*THE **LANCASHIRE** CAT CLUB SHOW - 13.3.2010* Mrs Ann IvinsonThank you very much to Christine Titterington and her Committee for inviting me to judge at this friendly and busy Show. I was very lucky to have Mark Birchenough as my Steward. I would like to thank him for his sustained help and support during this busy day. _Semi Longhaired Kittens._ _ _ *BLUE POINT BIRMAN KITTEN MALE:*1. BOB. KEEPING'S BAYGAZER MCTAV'S SON. 13c2. M. 23.6.09.A well grown Blue Point lad of almost 9 months showing good Birman type and balanced development. Good underlying bone structure to head with nicely rounded head top; medium ears set well apart; cheeks full and broad, tapering to a well developed muzzle; firm chin, level bite, medium nose with slight dip in profile; almost round eyes of a good blue shade. Balanced long body of excellent weight and bone structure supported by medium thickset legs, and short strong paws; balanced bushy tail. Full coat which was long, soft, and silky, and very well prepared, of a cool toned white, with some shading on back; full ruff; curls on stomach; points of a pleasant shade of blue-grey to ears; mask developing well from nose across cheeks; some slight brindling on whisker pads; legs a lighter shade of blue-grey; tail a darker shade; white gloves; right foot slightly scolloped; white socks; left gauntlet rounded to below hock; right gauntlet slightly narrow and ending below hock. He has a wonderful personality, purring non-stop. He was shown in excellent condition. 2. DELANEY'S DEENLAY SEULETUNIQUE. 13c2. M. 13,8,09.What a pity this Blue Point lad of 7 months, who also shows good Birman type, came up against the winner today who was that much more mature. Good boning to head with nicely rounded head top; medium ears fitting well into head shape; cheeks still developing and tapering to a slightly narrow muzzle line; firm chin, level bite, medium length nose with slight dip in profile; almost round eyes of a penetrating deep blue giving him a pretty expression. Long body in balance to head size, just needing more time to develop; medium weight supported by medium thickset legs, and short strong paws; bushy tail just a little short. Lovely long silky soft coat of cool toned white; ruff developing, and curls on stomach; clear diamond shaped mask spreading from nose across cheeks of a deep blue-grey; points on legs a little lighter; blue tail slightly brindled; white gloves; white socks; gauntlets rounded to below hock; this lad shows good potential and it was just his smaller sized that gained him his placing today. He was shown in good condition. *BLUE POINT BIRMAN FEMALE:*1. INSTONE'S KITTA HECUBA. 13c2. F. 16.6.09.A very attractive Blue Point female of 8 months showing good Birman type. Good underlying bone structure to head with nicely rounded head top; medium ears; cheeks developing and tapering to a firm muzzle line; firm chin, level bite, short medium nose with slight dip in profile; almost round eyes of a good blue shade giving her a gentle expression. Balanced long body to head size, of good weight and muscular tone; medium length thickset legs with rounded strong paws; balanced tail. Coat developing fullness, long and a little sticky in texture, of cool toned white; a pleasant shade of blue-grey to points on her ears; mask developing well; colour spreading from nose across her cheeks, paler shade to legs, with a deeper shade to her bushy tail; left glove even, right glove slightly scolloped; socks even; left gauntlet rounded to below the hock, right gauntlet tapers to below the hock, with a slight flick. A gentle girl who was easy to handle. *RED, CREAM & TORTIE POINT BIRMAN KITTEN:*1. BOB. HOBSON'S TWINKLETOES SWEE NEMESIA. 13c6. F. 9.9.09.A very attractive little Seal Tortie Point girl showing good Birman type for her age of 6 months. Good underlying bone structure to head with rounded head top; medium ears fitting well into her head shape; well rounded cheeks tapering to a developing muzzle line; firm chin, level bite, medium length nose with slight dip in profile; almost round eyes of a deep shade of blue giving her an attractive expression. Medium sized long body of good weight and muscular tone; medium length thickset legs, with short strong paws; balanced bushy tail. Coat very well prepared, long and silky, of a clear pale beige; points of seal brown mingled with light and dark red, all shades clearly visible; ears well mingled and mottled with colour; a diamond shaped mask; right side of nose light red, left side all colours nicely mingled; colours spreading across her cheeks; delicate shades of all colours on her legs; bushy tail was also dusted beautifully with all the colours; gloves even; socks even; gauntlets rounded to hock. Such a sweet tempered kitten who was a pleasure to handle. She was shown in good condition. * TABBY & TORTIE-POINT BIRMAN KITTEN.*1. BOB. BROWN'S SARMOYAH DALTEEMA ZIRCON. 13c17. M. 2.8.09.A 7 month old Cream Tabby Point lad with the potential for good Birman type as he matures. Good boning to head top with rounded forehead; boning is slightly narrow on cheeks and muzzle at the moment; medium ears with good space between; cheeks developing and tapering to a narrow and slightly pinched muzzle line; level bite -- he is teething at the moment; chin could be a little deeper; medium nose with slight dip in profile; almost round eyes of a deep shade of blue. Long body of good weight; medium length legs with strong rounded paws; balanced bushy tail. Coat developing fullness, long and silky, of an off-white shade; a full ruff developing; curls on abdomen; points of cream a little on the hot side to a paler agouti background; points at back of his ears are a paler shade of cream; thumbprints on ears are a hot shade of cream; mask developing, spreading from nose to cheeks; 'M' visible on forehead; spectacles outlined on eyes; butterfly on whisker pads; spots on pads not yet visible; faint stripes visible on legs, clearer on right legs; cream visible above gauntlets; gloves even; socks even; gauntlets visible and rounded to below the hock. He was very well presented and he had a gentle personality. * * *AC BRITISH PREMIER MALE:*GR.PC. WARDLE'S PR. ADATESH BLUE SNOWMAN. 40.2. MN. 23.2.08.What a solid lad of just over 2yr. showing good British type. A mature head with good breadth and depth; neat ears sitting well into head shape; cheeks well rounded to muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; round eyes of medium shade of blue. Large solid cobby body; very good boning to his short legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Coat short, dense, and firm; points of a pleasant shade of medium blue to ears; mask well developed and extending to his cheeks; paler shade of blue on legs and tail; some slight shading on body colour of glacial white. This boy has a wonderful temperament; and he enjoyed his time with us. I would like to congratulate his owner on his excellent Show preparation -- there was not a hair out of place! ** RES.GR.PC. BLATHERWICK'S PR. ADVISH ARRAMINTO. 40.3. MN. 4.4.06.This 4yr. boy ran the winner very closely. He showed good British type. Round head; neat ears with good space between; cheeks developed to muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; round eyes of a paler shade of blue. Balanced cobby body to head size; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Coat was short, dense, and just a little soft in texture; points of a warmish shade of chocolate to his ears, mask, legs and tail; some shading to his ivory body colour. He has a friendly personality, and he was also shown in good condition. *AC BRITISH PREMIER FEAMLE:*GR.PC. MOORE'S PR. VALPETINA SOLLITAIRE. 16. FN. 5.12.03.An attractive 6yr. old lady showing good British type. Round head; neat ears fitting well into head shape; mature cheeks rounded to muzzle line; level bite, firm chin, short broad nose; round eyes of a good copper shade giving her a very attractive appearance. Good weight and muscular tone to a cobby body; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Lovely medium blue coat, short, dense, and sound to roots. A gentle girl who handled well and was shown in good condition. *CREAM ADULT FEMALE:*1. CC. BOB. MURPHY'S STEELAWAY SAVARNAH. 17. F. 8.6.09.A well developed young lady of 9 months showing good British type. Unfortunately her neighbouring exhibit appeared to be causing her some distress requiring us to leave her for a while and this seem to work as she was much calmer later. Round head; neat ears; cheeks developing well to muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; round expressive eyes of a good golden shade. Balanced cobby body of good weight and muscular tone; broad chest developing; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. She has a good coat, short, dense and firm, of a mid-cream shade sound to roots. She was shown in good condition. *BLACK SILVER TABBY MALE:*1. CC. BOB. LEONARD'S SARGENTA SILVER ANDREAS. 18. M. 29.5.09.A well presented Black Silver Tabby young man of almost 1yr. showing good British type. Round head; neat ears with good space between; cheeks developing well to muzzle line which gives good breadth to his head; broad short nose, firm chin, level bite; round eyes of a pale hazel shade. Balanced cobby body of good weight and muscular tone; short well boned legs, rounded paws; balanced tail. His coat is short, dense, and firm; displaying a distinctive black tabby pattern to silver ground colour; 'M' on forehead; thumbprints; clear spectacles; butterfly; spine lines; symmetrical oysters; clear barring on paws; several necklaces; spots on abdomen and paws; well ringed tail. He was such a gentle natured lad and easy to handle, and shown in good condition. 2. HALL'S CATYKES HARVEY SILVEER MOON. 18. M. 18.11.08.A quite light-weight lad for his age of over 1yr. Round head; ears standing tall; cheeks developed to a rather squarely pronounced muzzle line; level bite, shot broad nose, firm chin; round eyes of a hazel shade. Long light-weight body standing tall on his legs, rounded paws; balanced tail. Coat short, a little soft in texture; classic black silver tabby pattern with an amount of brindling visible; he had tingeing on nose and paws. A gentle lad who was easy to handle. *AOC SILVER TABBY ADULT MALE: *1. CC. BOB. CHANCE'S CRAZIPUSS RED ADAIR. 18d. M. 25.5.09.A very well developed Red Silver Tabby boy of 10 months showing good British type. A well developed round head; neat ears with good space between; well rounded cheeks to muzzle line; level bite, firm chin, short broad nose; rounded expressive eyes of a deep copper shade. Balanced cobby body of good weight and muscular tone; broad chest; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Good coat, short, dense and firm; a distinctive classical red silver tabby pattern to a pale silvery-cream ground colour; thumbprints on ears; 'M' on forehead; clear spectacles; butterfly; spine lines; symmetrical oysters; good barring on legs; spots on abdomen and toes; a well ringed tail. He was beautifully presented and easy to handle. 2. KIDD'S KATYKES EDWINSON. 18a. M. 16.4.09.Still a young looking lad for his age of almost 1yr. round head; neat ears; cheeks still developing to muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; round eyes of a pale gold shade. Light weight cobby body; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Coat short, of good density, rather soft in texture; blue tabby markings of a very dark shade of blue to a pale silvery-blue ground colour; thumbprints on ears; 'M' on forehead; spectacles; butterfly; spine lines; oysters; spots on abdomen and paws difficult to see; well ringed tail. He handled well and was shown in good condition. *AOC SILVER TABBY ADULT FEMALE: *1. CC. BERRY'S JELLYCATZ SUMMERBREEZE. 18a. F. 10.5.09.A lovely gentle girl of 10 months showing good British type. Round head; neat ears; cheeks developing well to muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; round eyes of a pale golden shade. A proportionate cobby body of good weight and muscular tone; broad chest developing; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Coat short, dense, and firm of a clear mid-blue classical tabby pattern to a pale silvery blue ground colour. She was easy to handle and shown in good condition. *RED/CREAM/TORTIE TABBY FEMALE:*1. CC & BOB. COOKE'S LOVEJOY PRIMA DONNA. 19. F. 5.2.06.A well developed 4yr. old Red Tabby showing good British type. Round head; neat ears; gently rounded mature cheeks to muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; round eyes of a deep copper shade giving her a very attractive expression. Balanced cobby body of good weight and muscular tone; broad chest; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Very good texture to this short and firm coat, displaying a deep rich red tabby pattern to a red ground colour. She was a friendly little girl easy to handle, and shown in good condition. *AC COLOURPOINTED ADULT MALE:*1. CC. & BOB. HAZELWOOD'S ALTHALUS DRUSUS AQUILINUS. 40.1. M. 24.8.08.A good sized Colourpointed lad of over one and a half years showing good British type. Round head with good breadth and depth; neat ears; cheeks developed well to muzzle line; firm chin, level bite, short broad nose; round eyes of a pale blue shade. Good size cobby body; broad chest; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Coat short, dense, and firm, of a pale warm fawn with some shading matching his seal points; seal colour to his ears; well developed mask on his face; seal coloured legs and tail. A sturdy lad who handled, and was shown in good condition. 2. BLATHERWICK'S CH. WINDYMEADOW WOARCESTER. 40.5. M. 26.7.06.A large Red Colourpointed lad of over 3yr. showing good British type. Round head; neat ears; mature cheeks to muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; round eyes of a pale blue. Balanced cobby body of good weight and muscular tone; broad chest; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Although his coat was short and firm it was rather sticky and tufted which spoilt his overall appearance. Red points to ears and mask, paler on legs and tail; his creamy-white body colour had some red shading. It was a pity his coat was not presented in better condition. *AC COLOURPOINTED ADULT FEMALE:*1. CC. BIENIAS'S ALEJANDRO BOTTECELLI. 40.4 F. 18.2.09.A balanced young Colourpointed lady of over 1yr. showing good British type. Round head; neat ears; cheeks maturing to muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; round eyes of a pale blue. Balanced cobby body of good weight and muscular tone; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Lovely coat, short, dense and firm; lilac points of a pleasant shade of pinkish-grey to ears; mask developing well; lilac shades paler on legs and tail; body colour magnolia white. She was beautifully presented. I noticed how well she has maintained her good British type since she was a kitten. *GOLDEN TIPPED ADULT MALE: *1. CC. & BOB. HEPPLE'S ARDEEVAN CANAGAN. 75. M. 30.6.08.A well developed lad of over one and a half years showing good British type. Round head; neat ears; round cheeks, showing good maturity, to muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; round eyes of a palish-green shade outlined in black as was his red brick nose leather. Good weight and size to cobby body; well boned legs, short boned legs with rounded paws; balanced tail. Coat firm, of good density, a little on the long side especially on the spine line; a rich golden apricot colour sound to the roots with black tipping; chin, stomach, chest and under tail a pale apricot colour. He was shown in good condition and handled well. *BLACK SILVER TABBY KITTEN: *1. BOB. SINKINSONSS' LIMATZ KANDY KANE. 18. F. 25.8.09.An eye catching black Silver Tabby kitten of 7 months showing good British type. Round head; neat ears with good space between; cheeks gently maturing to muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; round eyes of a pale hazel shade with green developing from the centre. Good weight to her developing cobby body; short well boned legs, rounded paws; balanced tail. A lovely short, dense, and slightly soft coat, clearly showing dense black classical tabby pattern to a silver ground colour; thumbprints on ears; distinctive 'M' on forehead; spectacles round the eyes; clear butterfly; spine lines; symmetrical oysters; several necklaces; bracelets on legs, spots on toes; rings on tail. She was beautifully presented and a pleasure to handle she was so friendly. *AC COLOURPOINTED BRITISH KITTEN FEMALE:*1. BOB. HOLDEN'S DIXYLAN PRINCESS IDA. 40.12. F. 13.10.09.A friendly little Blue Tabby girl of 5 months showing good British type. Round head; ears standing a little tall at the present; cheeks developing to muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; round eyes of pale blue. Body of good weight and muscular tone; well boned legs with rounded paws; balanced tail. She has a lovely coat short, dense, and firm, of glacial white; interesting blue tabby markings to her points; ears blue with thumbprints; 'M' on forehead, with spectacles of blue to a bluish fawn ground colour; markings on legs paler; bracelets visible; butterfly on whisker pads with faint spots; a well ringed tail. She handled well and was shown in good condition. 2. BURNELLS' BURLEAWAY MOVIESTAR. 40.20. F. 10.8.09.A 7 month old Lilac Tortie Tabby Colourpointed girl going through a rangy stage of development. Round head; neat ears; cheeks needing further development to a narrow square muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; rather large round eyes of pale blue. Longish body of a good and muscular tone; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Coat short, dense, quite soft in texture, of a glacial white shade; points of lilac tabby with light cream and dark cream ground colour; clear 'M' on forehead; spectacles; thumbprints on ears; butterfly on whisker pads with very faint spots; faint barring on legs; rings on tail. She was easy to handle and shown in good condition. *AC COLOURPOINTED BRITISH NEUTER MALE:*1. PC. BOB. WARDLE'S PR. ADATESH BLUE SNOWMAN. 40.2. MN. 23.2.08.2. BLATHERWICK'S PR. ADVISH ARRAMINTO. 40.3. MN . 4.4.06.*AC BIRMAN ADULT: *1. MLYMEK & HAYWARD'S CH. CONANIMA SNOWDRIFT. 13c2. M. 19.3.09.This Blue Point lad of nearly 1yr. truly has the 'Wow' factor for me. It is hard to believe his young age show as he shows such good size and development. Good underlying bone structure to head, with well rounded head top; medium ears set well apart; broad full cheeks tapering to a well developed muzzle; firm chin, level bite, medium nose with slight dip in profile; almost round expressive eyes of a deep blue shade. Balanced well boned long body of good weight and muscular tone, well supported by medium thickset legs with strong short paws; balanced bushy tail. Coat prepared to perfection -- long, silky in texture of a cool toned white; full ruff, and curls on abdomen; his points, a pleasing shade of a soft blue-grey, are clearly seen on his ears; his mask is well formed and diamond shaped spreading from his nose across his full cheeks; a paler shade to his legs, a darker shade on his bushy trail; gloves white and even; socks even; gauntlets rounded to below the hock. He was a pleasure to handle and surely knows how to shown himself to his full potential 2. WHITBY'S GR.CH. FELONIE SUCETTE PLAYBOY. 13c13. M. 9.6.07. A medium sized Chocolate Tabby Point boy of over two and a half years showing good Birman type. Good boning to nicely rounded head top; medium sized ears with good furnishings; cheeks broad and full tapering to muzzle [I would not like to see the space between the cheeks and muzzle any shorter]. Firm chin, level bite, slight dip in medium size nose; almost round eyes of a deep shade of blue. Medium size long body of good weight and muscular tone; medium thickset legs with strong short paws; balanced tail. A beautifully prepared coat, long and silky, of an ivory shade; full ruff; curls on abdomen. clearly defined points of a rich milk chocolate to a light bronze agouti background; ears with thumbprints; a well developed diamond shaped mask spreading from his nose to his cheeks; clear 'M' on forehead; spectacles around eyes; butterfly on whisker pads; chocolate spots visible on whisker pads; well barred markings on legs; several rings visible on bushy tail; even white gloves and socks; gauntlets rounded to below hock; solid milk chocolate on hind legs above the gauntlets. A very handsome lad who handled well and shown in excellent condition. Ex.2. DOBSON'S MAYSULA ANDALUSITE. 13c11. M. 25.4.09.A well balanced young Seal Tabby Point lad of just under 1yr. showing good Birman type. Good underlying bone structure to head; medium sized well furnished ears which fit well into his nicely rounded head top; good breadth to developing cheeks which taper to a well developed muzzle line; level bite, firm chin; almost round eyes of a good blue shaded. Balanced long weighty body; medium thickset legs, rounded strong paws; balanced busy tail. A well prepared long silky coat of a clear beige; a full ruff; curls on abdomen; seal brown tabby points to a pale brown agouti background; thumbprints on ears; diamond shaped mask spreading across face; a clear 'M' on forehead; spectacles round eyes; butterfly on whisker pads with seal brown spots at base of whiskers; clear markings on all four legs of a dark seal rings to an agouti background; solid seal on back legs above gauntlets; well ringed tail; white even gloves; white socks, gauntlets, a little on the short side, rounded to below the hock. A gentle lad who handled well and was shown in good condition. 3. KEEPING'S BAYGAZER SELESTE. 13c1. F. 23.3.09.A Medium size Seal Point lad of nearly 1yr. showing good Birman type, although she was not in the best of humour today -- perhaps she was about to call; medium sized head with good underlying bone structure with nicely rounded head top; medium sized ears; cheeks, needing more fullness, tapering to muzzle line; chin could do with a little more depth; level bite, medium length nose with slight dip in profile; almost round eyes of a deep shade of blue. Balanced long body of good weight; medium thickset legs, strong rounded paws; balanced bushy tail. Coat beautifully prepared, though lacking fullness; soft and silky texture on sides of body; a little coarse at base of spine though silky underneath; full ruff on neck, curls on abdomen; dark seal brown points; mask still to develop further across cheeks; pale seal brown to legs; dark shade on tail; white even gloves and socks; gauntlets rounded to below hock.. She was well presented.
