My thanks to Christine and her committee for the invitation, as always I had a super day I am afraid some of the cats weren’t in the best of moods, luckily Simon Dorey who stewarded for me is an old hand so we both ended the day unscathed. A.C. BRITISH/SELKIRK IMPERIAL GRAND CHAMPION MALE1. I.G.C.C. W/H ROBINSON’S GR CH PENNYDOWN MOONTIGER (39) M 29/06/07Black Tipped. A very sweet boy with delightful nature, well rounded head with wide smooth top between well set ears that looked enormous in the pen, when he came out and relaxed they were just a tad on the large side. Gorgeous expressive eyes a super aqua colour with full outline, short broad nose with rose pink nose leather and clear line, fairly full cheeks, rounded muzzle, level bite and good chin. Lovely substance to his frame but he is a little lean at the moment, amour is probably on his mind. His coat had heavy even tipping it is lacking in undercoat so was very flat lying and was slightly longer along his spine line it, he unfortunately also had stud tail and it was these combined factors that precluded the awarding of the certificate. 2. RES W/H HOLDEN’S GR CH OSOCOSI ALBIE DELVES (40 13) M 23/04/07Chocolate Tabby Colourpointed. Such a time waster with superb nature. Lovely well rounded head with smooth skull between well set ears, large round eyes with a good blue colour, broad straight nose, full cheeks and rounded muzzle, level bite and good chin. Another boy whose mind is on amour, he had a long lean frame and is a little light weight. Well defined mask and points with clear tabby markings, he has a short very dense coat and I think there had been some problems with knots as he seemed to have some very thin patches to his side and shoulder where it looked to have been stripped. Balance length tail showing some rings. A.C. BRITISH GRAND CHAMPION MALE1. G.C.C. BEARD-SMITH’S CH TOPMARX ARTHUR PENDRAGON (15b) M 23/04/07Chocolate. A lovely friendly boy, nice round head with smooth top between medium sized ears with rounded tips, gorgeous round expressive eyes a super deep orange colour, broad straight nose with full cheeks and rounded muzzle, level bite and firm chin. Nice compact shape to frame with sturdy boning to limbs and neat firm round paws, super density and texture to coat it is a rich warm chocolate at least 75% cocoa so like him rather scrumptious, genrally sound and clear of ghost markings. Balanced length tail with rounded tip. 2. MARTIN’S CH WELLMAR JOSIAH (18b) M 25/07/05Chocolate Silver Tabby. A compact boy with gentle nature, he just sat on the trolley and was a delight, round head with medium width between nicely set ears. Small slightly closely set eyes eyes a light lemon colour, short straight nose, slight round muzzle, level bite and fair chin. Compact framed with fair boning, lovely short dense coat starting to moult a touch, clear chocolate markings on a pale silvery chocolate ground. M to face, butterfly to shoulder, separated spine line and clear oysters, short tail with some rings A.C. BRITISH GRAND CHAMPION FEMALE1. G.C.C. W/H TWENTYMAN & SKOVLUND’S CH FARLEYWOOD DAISY (40 4) F 12/06/08Lilac Colourpointed. A nice natured but extremely adolescent looking girl, small head more oval that round in shape, narrow top between ears that are currently rather large and unbalanced. Oriental shape to eyes a good blue colour, narrow straight nose, cheeks and muzzle need to fill and round, level bite and weak chin. Nice boning to frame it is rather long and lean, she really does need to pack on some weight which I suspect will come with time. Short coat with good density, well defined mask and points they do however appear to be more blue than lilac, fully coloured balanced length tail. Certificate with held due to immaturity and points colouring. DEVON REX ADULTB.O.B. TO BRYNES’S GR CH BOUNTIFUL O’SUGAR (33a36) F 7/08071. C.C. MURPHY’S KALTES RHAPSODY INBLUE (33a16) F 18/08/08Blue. In a rather feisty mood, very short broad wedge with high cheeks bones. Lovely expressive eyes wide set and large tending toward a round rather than oval shape, short nose with slight stop, good definition to whisker break, level bite, her chin recedes slightly. Brow curves to a flat skull between more medium than large ears with width to base, a little high set. Nice sized body with firm muscular feel, slim legs and neat oval paws. A very fine short coat covers all of her body with just a little bit of waving to the spine line. Long tapering tail covered with short fur. 2. DALE’S TEDDIREX PEEKABOO (33a36b) F 3/02/08Chocolate Smoke. Definite attitude to this girl and boy could she wriggle. Short wedge with high cheeks bones, she has a wide set to her eyes, they are a touch round to the inner edge but do have a slight slant to the outer. Short nose with slope rather than stop, the whisker break needs more definition and her muzzle could be fuller it has cute short chewed whiskers. Level bite and fair chin. Curved brow and flat skull between medium ears with width to base they are a little high set. Good size and muscle to body with slim legs and neat small paws, short soft coat covers all of her body with some ripples it is a little coarse in texture to the spine, long tapering tail covered with short fur. 3. STORK’S RESITUDE MISS TYKETO (33a 18e) F 7/08/07Tortie Silver Tabby. All though not the youngest she seemed very much the baby of the class a sweet little girl, short wedge with high cheek bones, large expressive eyes they are unfortunately very round in shape, brow curves to flat skull between rather high set ears more medium in size with cute tufts to tips. Short nose with slight stop, good definition to whisker break, level bite, chin slopes a fraction. She is rather long in the body and a little light weight, she needs to tuck in, long slim legs. Short coat covers her body well with some ripples visible. Long tapering tail covered with short fur. KORAT ADULT1. C.C. B.O.B. HAWKINS’S GR CH HIBREESE NIMUAN LALIWAN (34) F 12/07/00What a poppet, so pretty, she failed on the attitude test as all she wanted was a cuddle. Lovely heart shaped head with breadth across the eyes, there was a rich green colour round the pupil spreading outwards. Short nose with slight downward curve, well developed rounded muzzle, level bite and good chin. Like all girls she has a dainty frame and she obviously enjoys her food as she is just a touch on the rotund side, short single coat a light blue, with some silvering in places, medium length tail. DEVON REX NEUTER MALE1. P.C. LOWELL’S NELSHAM SCARLET PEIMPERNEL (33a36) MN 23/02/09Black Smoke. This boy was in a dreadful mood and it is only thanks to Colin Stones skill at getting him out that enabled me to judge him, and it was an amazingly quick assessment!. Short broad wedge with high cheek bones, large eyes a fraction round to the centre, short nose with slope rather than stop, good definition to whisker break, large teeth with level bite, his chin slopes slightly away. Very strong muscular body, lovely coat short and dense, it covers all of his body and has nice ripples. Long tapering tail covered with short fur. DEVON REX NEUTER FEMALE1. P.C. B.O.B. PR POOLSIDE CHEEKY RASCAL (33a30bs) FN 06/09/05Chocolate Silver Spotted. Short broad wedge with high cheek bones, large eyes with wide set oval in shape and sloping towards edges of ears. They are large with a good low set wide to the base and tapering to tips. Short nose with stop, strong muzzle well defined whisker break with short whiskers, level bite and firm chin. Her body is rather on the large side, she does have a slender neck, very broad chest and firm muscle tone, slim legs with neat oval paws. DEACON’S GR PR KORAHK KEUN JY (34) MN 15/02/06Well this boy has certainly done the attitude, he had a lot to say but as always was harmless. Well developed head with inner and outer heart clearly visible, medium sized large ears with high set, good breadth across his eyes these are large and a super luminous green colour. Short nose with downward curve and slight stop, he has quite full cheeks a rounded muzzle, level bite and good chin. Good sized balanced weight, short coat a very dark blue with only a touch of silvering at present. Medium length tail thick to base and tapering to tip.
