LINCOLNSHIRE CAT CLUB SHOW - 10 JULY 2010 MRS CELIA DE MARTINOMy thanks to Beryl Rawnsley and the committee for their kind invitation to judge at their first back to back show with the Humberside cat club. It was a successful day. My thanks to John Blore who travelled up north especially to steward for me. He handles the cats expertly and as always we had a good day and some lovely cats . AOC SELF COLOURPOINT ADULT1 & BOB HUNTER’S CH ELLSKITZ CRASADERA red point lad just over 2 years old. Excellent width between well placed furnished ears, short nose with stop, full cheeks, good bite and firm chin, muzzle slightly pinched. Cobby rounded frame, short sturdy legs and medium length tail in proportion to body. Could do with more weight but us probably a working boy. Excellent red to mask and tail would prefer a deeper shade of red to legs. Well prepared soft silky clear coat of pale ivory Excellent condition, a bit tetchy today. TORTOISESHELL COLOURPOINT ADULT1 & CC WITHELD 2 MARNO’S showing OWLETTS QUARTZin catalogue but in fact Catarosa Dolly Mixture A lovely natured seal tortie lass with soft silky well groomed coat. of medium length. Good width between well placed furnished ears, nose with stop but would prefer shorter for balance, needs fuller cheeks, good bite, firm chin and muzzle pinched. Round pale blue eyes, well placed. Cobby rounded frame, short sturdy legs and medium length tail in proportion to body. Coat showing shades of seal and red but no real contrast between coat points, mask and tail. No definite mask and tail does not contrast with body colour. In a colour point cat there should be a good contrast between the points and body colour which this girl did not have. This combined with lack of type was my reason for withholding. Excellent temperament and condition. AOC SELF COLOURPOINT NEUTERBOB BRETT’S PR BLONDBELLA SUNRISEA superb red point colourpoint lad with well prepared long soft silky pale coat . Excellent red mask points and tail. Excellent width between well placed furnished ears, short nose with stop, full cheeks, good bite and firm chin. Fairly bold well set blue eyes. Cobby rounded frame, short sturdy legs and tail in proportion to body. Excellent temperament and condition. AC PERSIAN SELF KITTEN1 HOWARD’S PURRDREAMZ SWEET SENSATIONA lovely odd eyed white lad just under 9 months old. Well prepared long soft silky sparkling white coat. Excellent persian type. Good bite and good eye colour, one being orange and the other a good shade of blue. Excellent temperament and condition. AC PERSIAN NON-SELF NEUTER1 BRETT’S BLONBELLA SUNRISE2 GR PR QUARTET CHANCE ENCOUNTERA cream and white bi coloured lad with well prepared long soft silky coat, mainly sparkling white with colour to face and tail. Excellent Persian type. Orange eyes could be bolder. 3 STANAWAY’S PR RISING MOON BEYOUNCEAV SEMI-LONGHAIR KITTEN BRED BY EXHIBITOR1 CALVERT’S PURDYSTON PAINTPOTA blue tortie tabby and white maine coon lass with well prepared soft silky coat showing good distribution of blue and cream. Tabby markings visible. Good shaped head, well placed ears, good bite and firm chin. Strong body and legs. 2 WAITE’S OLIROSE MYKIND OFGUYA brown tabby and white maine coon. Lovely black tabby markings on warm brown undercoat. White paws and chest. Well prepared coat. Good shaped head, well placed furnished and tufted ears, hazel eyes. Strong muscular body with sturdy legs. 3 FRANCIS NAINSUS SPITFIREAV SEMI-LONGHAIR LIMIT NEUTER1 EDWARD’S DOROMAS DAVID RUFFINA seal bicoloured ragdoll lad of good type. Well prepared soft silky coat of dark beige, it still contrast with the seal but would have preferred the beige slightly lighter for perfection. White coming from inverted v on forehead covering nose chest and tummy. Excellent temperament and condition. AV SEMI-LONGHAIR THE JUDGE WOULD MOST LIKE TO TAKE HOME1 HASSETT’S HAPPYTIME JULIET-TUMLERAGA seal mitted rag doll girl of good type. She looked at me with her lovely blue eyes and I was smitten. Her beige coat was soft silky and well prepared contrasting nicely with her seal brown points. I loved her little white mittens.and the way she looks at you. 2 STANLEY’S CH SHEERCLASS APPLE MACA silver tabby maine coon of good type. Weighty strong body. Excellent black tabby markings on silver background another striking cat 3 BROWN’S DALTEEMA STAR SAPHIRE
