THE MAINE COON BREED SOCIETY SHOW – 31.7.10 Mrs Sally Tokens

Thank you Carol and the committee so much for your invitation back to judge at Bracknell, I had a very good day with some very nice cats. My steward was John Blore, thank you for all your hard work, I am sorry you were attacked so many times.

AC MAINE COON PREMIER FEMALE;

GR PC; Elson CH & IGR PR COONFLAKES LEGEND OF THE FALL

tortie tabby and white girl of nearly six years old and my eventual choice for overall best in show. A strapping female with super bone and a rectangular body shape. Large ears which are well set and with some tufts. Cheeks fairly full and high set cheek bones. Green colouring to well shaped eyes. Slight concave curve at the nasal bridge and a square muzzle. Level bite and a good breadth and depth to the chin. Coat full and flowing with a nice amount of undercoat. Tufted feet. Warmth to the red and a fairly strong black with tabby markings evident. Tail very well furnished and reaching the shoulders. Just starting to moult a little but never the less very nicely prepared. A super looking lady.

RES GR PC; Haynes UK IMP GR PR DAIRYMAINE EMILY

brown tabby girl of just over seven years old and another very impressive female. She ran the winner very close. Huge girl with super strong bone and plenty of substance. Ears set quite high with a nice width apart. Tufts to the ears. High set cheek bones with the cheeks fairly full. Eyes of a slightly oblique aperture and set and green colouring. Super profile with a slight concave curve at the nasal bridge. Level bite. Square muzzle. Good depth just a little more breadth to the chin. Very full coat with a warm copper agouti ground colour. Strong black markings with a well marked butterfly and oysters to the flanks. Tail with profuse and flowing fur and reaching the shoulder blades. A very nice girl.

RED TABBY SERIES WITH WHITE ADULT MALE;

1 CC & BOB Whitmarsh COONFLAKES TIME BANDIT

classic red tabby and white only just over nine months old and very well grown for his age. Already showing great strength to the bone and lovely substance. Large ears which are set quite high with a good width apart and bearing small tufts. Cheeks fairly full with high set cheek bones. Light gold colouring to the eyes which had a slightly oblique aperture and set. Profile of a good length with a slight concave curve at the nasal bridge. Square muzzle. Very good breadth and depth to the chin. Very nice coat texture with a soft top coat and some undercoat present. Super rich red markings with a well defined butterfly to the shoulders and wonderful clear oysters to the flanks. M to the forehead and lines from the corner of the eyes across the cheeks. Tail reaches to the shoulders with the odd ring and very well furnished. White to the legs and on the chest with some to the tummy.

1 Whitmarsh IGR CH NORACOON MOLEPOLOLE

classic silver tortie tabby and white. I have always loved this girl. Expressive green eyes. Very good cheeks and lovely depth and breadth to the chin. Coat full and flowing with some super colours. Very well prepared.

AC DEBUTANTE KITTEN;

1 Aggett ISADORYOU THEODORE

classic red tabby lad only just over four months old. A super well balanced head for a youngster. Very good coat colour with rich red markings, undercoat yet to develop.

2 McCrirrick CATHMAWR PRINCESS BLOSSOM

classic tortie tabby and white of four months old. Eyes just a touch small with a good green colour. Shallow concave curve at the nasal bridge. Super red and black to the coat to form the tortie pattern.
