Thank you to Jennifer and the committee for the invitation, and to Jane for all the driving it was a lovely friendly show with a delicious lunch and some super cats. Thanks to E W for stewarding for me he handled the cats well and was good company

BRITISH IMPERIAL GRAND PREMIER MALE

1. I.G.P.C.HALL’S GR PR CATYKES TONIONE (31a) MN 17/09/06

Blue & White. A very gentle boy who sat very still on the trolley and couldn’t wait to go back in his pen. Well rounded head with broad top, his ears have a good set but are a little on the large side and he has a tendency to splay them to the side, round eyes with a super deep orange colour. Short broad nose, nice rounding to cheeks his muzzle could be fuller, level bite and fair chin. Good boning to body, it is a touch on the large side and in danger of losing balance if he gets any bigger. Short coat lacking undercoat so rather flat lying, a mid blue reasonably sound, white triangular strip to face, half collar, white to legs and stomach, fully coloured tail.

BRITISH IMPERIAL GRAND PREMIER FEMALE

1. MARTIN’S GR CH & GR PR WELLMAR KALEIDOSCOPE (22) FN 29/06/96

Tortie & White. What an old sweetie, she came out had a cuddle and purred away then when I put her back she had a quick swipe with her paw, just to make sure I knew she wasn’t a push over!. Lovely round head with good top and small neat well set ears, bold round eyes a very pale lemon colour, short broad nose full cheeks and rounded muzzle, level bite, slightly weak chin. Short compact body held on well boned limbs, her coat really wasn’t in the best condition as she was moulting lots so it was very flat lying. White blaze to face, good patching to body with lovely vibrant red and jet black, she has a white collar and white to her legs and stomach, her feet were a little grubby, fully coloured tail.

EXOTIC TABBY OR TABBY & WHITE NEUTER

1. P.C. B.O.B. SEYMOUR’S BRYLOU SHORTCUT (70/30/8a) MN 11/06/08

Blue Spotted. This was a very sweet boy with a wonderful purr, small round head with good width to top and well set fractionally large ears, round eyes that could be larger a very muddy brown colour, very short nose with deep break, full fat cheeks, slightly under shot bite and strong chin. His coat has started it’s summer moult and is very flat lying and lacking in density, the marking are good to each side with the spots having clear separation, the spine line is rather linked, the mushroom ground is rather lacking but I suspect this is due to lack of undercoat, he has a cream moustache and pale chin. Balanced length tail showing some rings.

BRITISH CHOCOLATE

1. C.C. B.O.B. JAY’S JANSTAN GEEWIZ JENSON (15b) M 01/05/08

What a super natured boy with lovely development for his age. Well rounded head with good breadth of skull between ears that have a good set but are a fraction large and wide to the base. Super round deep orange coloured eyes that could be a fraction larger, short broad nose, cheeks filling and rounding well, level bite and good chin. Superb boning to his frame he is growing so a fraction high on his legs but when he fills out his is going to have super substance. Good coat for length, starting to moult so lying a little flat, I’d say galaxy with just a hint of bournville mixed in it is a little unsound in places. He’s found what might be the only bit of sun this summer as he has slightly lighter tinges to his face and chest, balanced length tail with rounded tip.

BRITISH BLUE-CREAM ADULT .

1. C.C. B.O.B FIGGINS’S HINDERSLYNE OF HYSSOP (28) F 14/07/08

This girl is an example of the better out than in theory, she really does look so much better when she is out of her pen. She isn’t huge but is nicely balanced at present and has a lovely expression, well rounded head with good width to top, the ears have a good set but are just a fraction on the large side. Gorgeous eyes large and well rounded with a super deep orange colour, short broad nose with small round cheeks, just a fraction square to her muzzle, level bite and good chin. Small compact shape with fair boning to short limbs with firm round paws, her coat swung the balance on my debate over the C.C. it is short and crisp a mid blue well mingled with cream, both colours are visible to all paws, balanced length tail with rounded tip.

2. BELL’S CHARMODEN ANNY (28) F 15/05/08

Another lovely girl, just a fraction older than my winner and starting to grow, so at the beginning of the phase where she loses her balance. Small round head with medium width between ears that are on the large side and also wide to the base, the tufts to the tips do make them look taller. Well rounded eyes with a nice orange colour developing, short straight nose, small round cheeks her muzzle is a little shallow, level bite and fair chin. Body starting to grow but still square shaped at present she could be heavier boned, short coat a little soft in texture very well mingled with cream plus there is a spotty pattern overlay if you view her at a distance. Solid cream patch to chest and one solid cream foot, balanced length tail.

BRITISH TIPPED ADULT

B.O.B. TO ROBINSON’S CH PENNYDOWN MOONTIGER (39) M 29/06/07

A gorgeous boy with super nature, fabulous coat and bewitching eyes.

THAI LILAC NEUTER

1. I.C. B.O.B. RUSSELL’S CAMACOONA VALENTINO (34c) MN 14/02/08

When I got my catalogue and saw who this was I could not believe he was the tiny little kitten from last year who I wanted to pop in my pocket. He has come on a treat and has definitely had some Korat association as he has acquired some attitude, he’s not quite got it right as he gives up far to easily and has no real scare ability, I think a few more lessons are needed. Good heart shaped coming to head with breadth developing across his eyes, these are well rounded in shape and have a super luminous green colour developing. He has an alert look when he’s trying to be assertive, high set ears. Good profile, he needs more width across his muzzle which will come, short nose with slight curve, level bite and firm chin. He’s certainly developed his body it is well muscled and bordering on the rotund, he’ll have to try a little more exercise to make sure he doesn’t lose his balance. Single close lying coat a mid lilac, difficult to assess the pinkish huge due to hall lighting, frosting to face and legs, medium length tail with rounded tip.
