Thank you Jennifer for the invitation to judge once again at the Merseyside. I had a lovely day and handled some lovely cats with the help of Lisa Buck. Lisa came especially to steward for me and she handled the cats with great care and consideration. Thanks Lisa I look forward to the next time.

AC PERSIAN SELF PREMIER

GRPC MS H WHITE’S CH & PR SHARISHIMA THE GOV’NOR (4) MN 13/1/06

Red of excellent shape and size. Lovely balanced Persian type. Large round head with good width between neat well furnished ears. Round expressive orange eyes. Short snub nose with good break and full pink leather. Good bite. Full cheeks strong chin. Well prepared rich red coat showing very slight tabby markings to head and legs. Dinky tail. Lovely temperament.

RES GR PC MR J COX MBE PR SSAFASEC DAGWOOD BUMSTEAD (5) MN 21/6/07

Cream of good shape and just needing to fill out now. He is cobby and stands on short fat legs. Round head with good width between neat ears. Round expressive copper eyes. Short broad nose with good stop. Full cheeks firm chin. Coat well prepared and a good shade of cream, it is a little unsound at the moment. Tail in proportion to his body.

GR PC MISS N HOUGH’S GR PR LAVALNA SUNBEAM (13c1) MN 1/5/07

Seal Point Birman of good size and shape. Head is broad and rounded and he has medium sized ears that are spaced well apart. Eyes are almost round and a deep shade of blue. Nose is medium in length with a slight dip in profile. Cheeks rounded with slightly weak chin. Level bite. Well prepared coat that is a little shady on the surface but clear underneath. He has a full ruff and trousers.  Matching dark brown points colour. Pure white gloves which are scalloped. Socks pure white covering the entire back paws. Good length to gauntlets. Tail bushy and in proportion to the body.

GR PC MR & MRS WALKER’S PR LACHMERE LALITA (13c18) FN 22/6/05

Blue Tortie Tabby Point Birman who is a real little madam but she is all talk and let us know in no uncertain way that she was not impressed with us. Lovely shape and size. Body long and she stands on legs that are medium in length on short strong paws. Broad and rounded head with good width between medium sized ears. Almost round medium blue eyes. Nose medium in length with a slight dip in profile. Bite level. Pure white symmetrical gloves with pure white socks covering the entire paw. Good length to gauntlets. Well prepared coat with full ruff and trousers. Points, blue markings on a light beige agouti background overlaid and intermingled with light and dark cream. All points broken with colour.  M to forehead, spotted whisker pads, spectacles and thumbprints to ears. Bars to legs. Tail well ringed and a good length.

RES GR PR MRS V KEEPING’S GR CH & PR KLAWNIQUE LEELOU (13c4) FN 14/8/97

Eleven year old Lilac Point Birman who looks fantastic for her age. Lovely balanced Birman type. Body is long and she is a good weight. Skull is broad and rounded and she has medium sized ears that are spaced well apart. Eyes are almost round and medium blue. Nose is medium in length with a slight dip in profile. Cheeks almost full and round with chin receding slightly. Points are a bluey lilac and matching. Coat well prepared, she has a full ruff, and coat is off-white magnolia in colour. Pure white gloves which almost reach the angle of the paws. Pure white socks that cover the entire back paws. Gauntlets are medium in length and taper. Tail bushy, medium in length and in proportion to her body.

1CC BOB MRS J WATKINS’S KRYSTALTOZE TINSEL (13c1) F 14/7/08

Seal Point Birman who is well grown and has very good Birman type. She is long in the body and of good weight. She has a rounded broad skull with medium ears which are set well apart. Almost round expressive deep blue eyes. Nose is medium in length with the required dip to profile. Level bite. Strong rounded muzzle and firm tapering chin. Coat is long and silken in texture displaying a lovely ruff to frame her face. Dense seal brown points which are matching. White gloves which are scalloped and finish at the angle of the paws. Pure white socks that are medium in length. Gauntlets are a good length. Tail bushy and medium in length.

2ND MR & MS HOBSON’S TWINKLETOES JASMIN (13c1) F 16/4/08

Seal Birman of lovely size and shape but a little underweight at the moment, I wonder if she has been calling? She stands on legs which are medium in length on short strong paws. Head rounded with ears which are medium in size needing a little more space between them. Nose medium in length with a slight dip in profile. Almost round eyes which are two toned blue with the deepest intensity in the centre. Level bite. Cheeks full and round with firm chin. Well prepared coat which is a little short in length and shady. Dense seal points with some brindling of the tail and mask. Pure white gloves which are scalloped and just cover the toes with socks which are medium in length.  Good length to gauntlets with right gauntlet blunt rather than tapered. Good length to tail.

AC SILVER SOMALI ADULT

BOB MR & MRS BULLIVANT’S CH DESTINY SILVER ZE SVOBODY (63s) F 29/10/05

Usual Silver Somali. Lovely balance with an alert and smiling expression.  Body of medium build, firm, lithe and graceful. Long legs with oval tufted paws showing slight barring on the insides. Head is a moderate wedge with gently curving contours. Muzzle is gently rounded and her profile shows a slight nose break. Ears are large and set well apart, well cupped and tufted. Eyes large and almond shaped a nice shade of hazel and set obliquely, they have a dark surround encircled by lighter coloured spectacles. Pencil lines at either edge of the eye. Good bite. Coat is silver ticked with black.  Slight tarnishing on face and body but does not detract from the overall picture. Chest. underparts and breeches silvery white. Tail long and well furnished.

1ST MR G ROGERS’S HIJRAH HEAVEN SENT (13) F 28/12/08

Blue cream baby who is cobby in shape and standing low on the legs. Pretty young lady. Round head with nice width between ears that are neat and well furnished. Round expressive copper eyes. Short broad nose with good break and full blue leather. Sadly bite is mal occluded. Full cheeks firm chin. Well prepared coat of a medium blue intermingled with a pastel cream. All feet have patches of cream at the moment. Face nicely intermingled. She has some patches of cream on her body but they do have blue hairs within them, Dinky tail. Sweet temperament.

1ST MRS J MARKS’S NIROKE ROMEO (13) MN 29/5/08

Red Tabby point of lovely balanced Persian type. Cobby body on short legs. Large round head with good width between neat well furnished ears. Round expressive eyes which are pale blue. Short broad nose with good break and full pink leather. Good bite. Full cheeks. Nice shade of red to points with mask not quite full. Faint M to forehead, spotted whisker pads, spectacles and thumbprints to ears. Faint barring on legs. Tail in proportion to his body and it is well ringed. Excellent temperament.

2nd MRS L SEYMOUR’S BRYLOU SHORTCUT (70 8a) MN 11/6/08

Large well built Blue Spotted Exotic. Excellent well balanced Persian type. Large round head with good width between ears that where a little open at the base. Large round eyes of a good copper colour. Very short broad nose with good stop and full blue leather. Good bite. Full fat cheeks, strong chin. Good markings with M to forehead with an unbroken stripe running back from the outer corner of each eye. On the neck and upper chest there are numerous unbroken necklaces. Medium blue spotting on a cool toned beige ground colour, although the spots where very brindled on the day. The pattern on the body and legs was very diffuse. Coat dense and plush, standing away from the body. Well ringed tail in proportion to his body.

1ST MR & MRS GREGSON’S DRAGONMAINE SHRUIKAN (64 41a) M 1/6/08

Blue Tabby Maine Coon. Well grown male, solid and muscular standing on substantial legs with large round paws. Head medium in length with large tall ears which are well tufted and spaced well apart. Hazel eyes, round in shape but a little small and deep set. Nose of even width with shallow concave curve. Level bite. Cheeks fairly full. Square muzzle, firm chin. Coat well prepared medium blue shade with well defined tabby markings. Good markings to head and legs. Tail long, well ringed and at least the length of his back.

2ND MRS G METCALFE’S HIGHVIEW DIAMOND (66) M 23/8/08

Seal Colourpointed Ragdoll who is a good size and shape. His body is long and he stands on legs that are medium in length on large round paws. Head is broad and he has a flat plane with good width between ears that are medium in size and slightly tilted forward. Eyes are medium blue in colour and are set slightly oblique. Nose is medium in length with a gentle dip. Well developed cheeks and nicely rounded muzzle. Level bite. Coat is well prepared showing surface shading but it is clearing from the roots. Coat is a lovely silky texture and medium in length. Points are seal brown and all matching. Tail is long, bushy and medium in length.

1st MS M BARTON’S WAGDOLL TOFFEE APPLE (66a) F 5/11/08

Blue Colourpointed Ragdoll. Well grown for her age and a very pretty young lady. Her body is a good length, muscular and she stands on legs which are medium in length on large round paws. Broad head with flat plane. Ears are medium in size, set nicely apart and tilted slightly forward. Medium blue eyes which are a little small but well opened and set slightly oblique. Medium length to nose with dip in profile, would like a little more dip for perfection. Level bite. Full cheeks and rounded muzzle, chin a little weak. Well-prepared coat which is good texture and length, ruff and knickerbockers developing. Points colour is a greyish blue and all matching. She has a small chest and tummy spot. Long and bushy tail.

2ND MR & MRS SPENCE’S AMURUSKO KING LOUIE (67 31t) M 19/10/08

 

Brown Tabby and White NF of good shape and size. Body is long and he stands high on the legs with his back legs being longer than front on large round tufted paws. Head is triangular and he has a slightly rounded forehead. Head is long and his ears are large and placed high just needing more width which will come as he matures so that the equilateral triangle is apparent. Eyes are large, oval and set slightly oblique. Long straight profile with good bite. Chin is a little weak. Well presented exhibit with a lovely temperament. Coat is semi long and consists of a woolly undercoat and a coarser topcoat. Ruff is developing. Tail is long and reaches the shoulders easily.

1ST MRS I WALSH’S OLTOMAINE BILLY THEKID (64/31) MN 24/11/06

Black and White Maine Coon. Body of good length, solid and muscular showing the characteristic rectangular appearance. Head medium in length with ears that are large and tall, well tufted and tipped. Full and round green eyes that are spaced well apart. Nose of even width with a shallow concave curve. Full cheeks with a good square muzzle. Level bite. Well prepared coat of dense black with slight greying along the sides and white. Undercoat with a glossy top coat with ruff and breeches developing. White chin, underparts and feet. Well furnished tail balancing the length of the body well.

1ST MISSES CREATON & WALKER’S CURLU NATE (79L 15) M 19/4/08

Long Haired Black Selkirk Rex who is strong and muscular in build. Rectangular body shape standing on strong legs which are medium in length on round firm paws. Head is broad with rounded contours and full cheeks. Nose short and broad with a downward slant. Ears are medium in size and are set well into the contours of the head. Eyes are large and round. Well padded muzzle which is rectangular in shape. Good bite. Coat was wonderfully thick and dense. It was random with loose curls and waves all over, very well rexed.  Thick tail with rounded tip.

2ND MRS C ROBINSON’S CH PENNYDOWN MOONTIGER (39) M 29/6/07

Black Tipped who is cobby in shape and stands low on the legs which are short and strong on round firm paws. Large round head with good width between neat rounded ears. Round expressive green eyes which are outlined in black. Short broad nose with full brick leather which is also outlined in black. Level bite. Full cheeks but chin is a little weak. Coat is dense and crisp but a little long. Almost white undercoat with the coat on the back, flanks, head, ears and tail evenly tipped with black. Legs show tipping. Chin, stomach, chest and under tail almost white. Tail in proportion to body, thicker at the base with a rounded tip.

3RD MISS J MARTIN’S GR CH ADSETSH BLUE SAFFIRE (16) F 9/9/06

British Blue who is cobby in shape, well balanced and standing on short legs on round firm paws. Round head with good width between ears which are a little tall. Copper eyes which are round and expressive. Nose is short, broad and straight. Level bite. Cheeks round with firm chin. Medium blue shade to coat. Coat is sound and is short, dense and crisp in texture. Tail medium in length, thick and has a rounded tip. Lovely temperament.

AC BREEDERS KITTEN

1ST MRS A EDNEY’S ROCADANNE MAMMA MIA (20e) F 8/2/09

Tortie Tabby of very good shape and size for her age and a very pretty kitten. She is cobby and stands low on the legs. Head is round with good width between small ears. Large round orange eyes which are set wide apart and well opened. Short broad nose. Round cheeks. Level bite with firm chin. Coat is dense short and crisp. Ground colour is copper brown and it is overlaid with a rich red. Well defined dense black classic Tabby markings. She has an M to forehead, spotted whisker pads, spectacles and thumbprints to ears. On her body there is an outline of a butterfly across the shoulders with an oyster shaped patch on each flank, they are not quite full on either flank. She has an unbroken line on her back with a stripe on either side of it. Tail is thick medium in length with rings.

2ND MRS W BERRY’S MAWBRITZ BETTYBOOP (40/20) F 8/2/09

Lilac Tortie Tabby Colourpointed Kitten who is well grown for her age. Body is cobby and she stands on short strong legs on strong round paws. Round head with good width between ears that are a little large. She has round eyes of a pale blue, would like much deeper colour. Nose is short, broad and straight. Good bite. Cheeks could be fuller and muzzle rounder. Chin is firm. Coat is magnolia white and it is short dense and crisp. Points show very faint lilac markings on a pale beige background. Very faint M to forehead, spectacles and spotted whisker pads. Very hard to see bars on legs due to colouring but she has rings on her tail which is thick and medium in length.

1ST MRS W BERRY’S MAWBRITZ BETTYBOOP (40/20) F 8/2/09

 

2ND MRS S PERHAL’S ADMIOSH LAVENDER LUPIN (15c) F 25/12/08

Lilac of good size and shape for her age. She has lovely type. She is cobby and stands on short strong legs on round firm paws. Round head with full cheeks. Eyes are large and round but are rather a pale shade of orange and showing a very slight green rim at the moment. Nose is short, broad and straight. Ears are small, rounded at the tips and spaced well apart. Sadly her bite is undershot. Firm chin.  Coat is dense and a little soft at present but it is a good length. It is a lovely shade of lilac and has a distinct pinkish tone. Tail is thick and medium in length.

1ST H ANDERSON – CARTER’S PR ROCADANNE BLACKJACK (15) MN 4/10/07

Black of NICE BALANCED British type. He is cobby in shape and stands low on the legs on round firm paws. Large round head with good width between neat rounded ears. Round expressive copper eyes. Short broad nose. Good bite. Cheeks full with firm chin. Jet black coat that is short, dense and crisp. Tail is thick and medium in length. Lovely gentle boy.

2ND MRS A LEONARD’S CH & PR GRAYGEES SILVER TRINITY (18) FN 1/10/05

Black Silver Tabby.  He is cobby in shape and stands low on the legs on round firm paws. Head is nicely rounded with ears that are a little tall and needing a little more width between them. Hazel eyes that are round and spaced well apart. Nose broad and straight with full brick leather. Level bite. Chin is a little weak but cheeks are quite full. Coat is very dense and matted it is also very greasy. Brindled black classic tabby markings on a silver ground colour. He has an M to forehead, spotted whisker pads, thumbprints to ears and spectacles around his eyes. Butterfly well defined across shoulders. Oysters are not quite full on either flank. Spine lines apparent.   Tail well ringed thick and medium in length.

AC JUNIOR NEUTER

1ST MRS R WARDLE’S ADATESH BLUE SNOWMAN (40/2) MN 23/2/08

Blue Colourpointed of excellent build, he is well balanced and shows good depth to body. Body is cobby and he stands on short strong legs. Head round with good width between small ears that are rounded at the tips. Eyes are large and round but are a rather pale shade of blue; I would like them to be deeper in colour. Nose is short, broad and straight. Cheeks are rounded. Firm chin with level bite. Coat is short and dense. It is showing quite a lot of surface shading at present. Points a medium shade of blue. Tail is thick, medium in length and in proportion to his body.
