MIDLAND COUNTIES CAT CLUB – 17TH MAY, 2009.

MRS. PAT PERKINS - SHOW REPORT
My thanks to Jean & Brenda for the invitation to the “Midland” it was nice to be back and to judge some quality exhibits. Special thanks to Steve Parkin for stewarding for me, he was a great help throughout a busy day, I look forward to working with him again soon.

AC PERSIAN IMPERIAL GRAND PREMIER – MALE

IMP. WHITES IGR.CH. & IGRPR MARDIGRAS THECANDY MANCAN – (7.3.05)
Superb Cream/White Bi-Colour shown in his usual immaculate condition, an object lesson in presentation. Good type, excellent bone and substance and a super coat – boy of quality.
RES BAYLISS GR. PR TOMOSAH FADE TOGREY – (6.6.07)
Blue Pewter boy, although coat is changing at present, he still has a good silvery white undercoat with a mid blue mantle, silvery white to chest, tummy and legs. Excellent bone and substance. Large orange eyes, short nose good break, dusky pink leather outlined in blue, firm chin, small well set ears. Short full tail, silvery white on underside, evenly tipped in blue on top – well mannered boy.

BLUE/LILAC TORTIE & WHITE – ADULT

1ST. CC & BOB ANGUS CH. PALCHINNO SEANYMPTH – (10.4.08)
– Compact young lady wearing an attractive coat, patched in pale cream and soft blue, the white sparkling, short bushy two tone tail. Rounded top of head, small well furnished ears, short nose with good break, firm chin, eyes round a sound orange. Good bone and substance, short thick legs – gentle lass.

AC BI-COLOUR ADULT – MALE

1st. CC & BOB AMBLERS TYTHERTON RALPH LAUREN – (25.5.08)
Red/White boy in lovely show condition, long soft coat showing rich sound red patches the white pristine, full ruff framing his head. Cobby solid build, thick legs, breadth to chest. Broad rounded top of head, small side set ears with nice furnishings, wide nose, good stop, super eyes large and wide open, the colour bright deep orange, firm chin. Nice wide flowing red tail to balance – lovely temperament. a pleasure to handle.
2ND. HIGGINS ALINDAS BAM BAM – (6.6.08)
Black/White youngster, another with a super coat, very well groomed, sound black patches on sparking white, short full black tail. Cobby well made body and legs, feathered feet. Round head with small neat ears, short nose, ample break, good chin, nice eye colour but would like then to be a little larger – gentle boy.
3RD. ANGUS PALCHINNO FLAME OF TORVAN – (27.3.08)
Red/White boy with width to head, small feathered ears, big eyes of a rich orange, short nose, good stop. Coat showing rich red patches, tail wide and sound red. Good bone, just a little bony on his back – easy going lad.

FEMALE

1ST. FAIRBANKS TYTHERTON FROM ME TO YOU - (22.4.08)
Sweet Black/White girl with a lovely expression, compact build, short thick legs, tad bony along spine. Round head with small well furnished ears, short nose, good stop, firm chin, eyes round of a pleasing orange. Thick soft coat, sound black to head, ears, short black tail – friendly lass.
2ND. PRIORS GEMKIN CRΘME DELACREME – (11.8.08)
Cream/White of just 9 months still some growing to do, pretty expression, round orange eyes, full cheeks, ears neat and side set, firm chin, level bite. Coat quite short patched in sound cream, the white pristine, short full cream tail – gentle youngster.

BLUE/LILAC TORTIE & WHITE KITTEN

1ST. & BOB WILSONS TYTHERTON CANT’ BUY MELOVE - (3.11.08)
Super kitten, bright and playful. Wide open expression, round head with large eyes of a promising muddy brown, short little nose, good stop, firm chin and level bite. Cobby compact build. Full kitten soft coat, well patched in pale blue and warm cream, head and face nicely patched, crisp white to head, body and legs, tiny fluffy two colour tail- cracking youngster who later became BOV Persian.

AC COLOURPOINTED/MITTED RAGDOLL ADULT – MALE

1ST. CC & BOB GLEDSTONES ADATELO JOSEPH – (13.8.08)
Seal Colourpointed youngster only nice months but already has the substance, bone and “raggie” expression. Balanced head, ears slightly forward tilted, flat plane between, nose has gentle curve, firm chin, super really deep blue eyes, nice cheeks, just needing a tad more width to muzzle. Full soft coat, dark seal to ears and well developed mask, seal legs, tail bushy to shoulders slightly paler than mask, body a creamy white with signs of new coat at roots – lovely lad to handle.
2ND. PULLENS DIZZIPAWS ZEMO – (12.4.08)
Blue Mitted at 13 months has good bone, length to body, strong legs and rounded feet. Well set ears, nose with a slight curve and flat plane to forehead, bright mid blue oblique set eyes. Defined greyish blue to points and tail which reached his shoulders. Body bluish white to back shading lighter to sides. Neat white mitts, white to chin, bib, tummy and legs, tail long reaching shoulders – friendly boy.
3RD. PARKES PETALPAWS LEOGINGERLILY – (30.6.08)
Long and lean Red Colourpointed , strong legs, broad head, ears set slightly forward, curve to nose, oblique set to even mid blue eyes, firm chin. Rich red to ears, slightly paler mask and paws, long tail of a mid red, body a creamy white with paler red shading to back, some old coat on back – promising boy.

FEMALE

1ST. & CC BARROWCLOUGHS ROYALRUMBALLS LUCKY LEWIS - (11.11.07)
Striking Tortie Colourpointed, well developed mask, ears mask and legs showing bright tortie colours, body creamy beige with pale tortie showing, two colour tail reaching shoulders. Ears wide based with a forward tilt, flat plane to forehead, oblique set eyes of a lovely deep blue, firm chin, curve to nose – attractive girl with a nice temperament.
2ND. DUNSTALLS ELANESSE CINNAMON SPICE – (15.2.08)
Very shy but easy to handle Seal Colourpointed girl, nice shape to head, ears slightly forward tilted, flat plane to forehead, oblique set to even mid blue eyes, curve to nose, good chin. Dark seal to ears, mask and paws, body warm beige, still holding on to a little old coat on her back.
3RD. GLEDSTONES WOODYPAWS LADY TALULA – ( 24.5.08)
Seal Tabby youngster showing good tabby markings to mask, legs and paws, tail full with slight rings. Body a warm beige shading lighter to sides. Eyes a mid blue, obliquely set, firm chin, curve to nose, muzzle still a little narrow, wide based ears – promising youngster.

SIBERIAN ADULT – ASSESSMENT

MERIT TO: BAXTER ESAYA ZAHARA OF ELMARLAY – (20.7.08)
Brown Tabby girl only 10 months but already developing size and substance, coat showing good overall tabby markings, dense soft undercoat, top coat starting to go coarser, tail well furnished. Short broad head with medium ears, cheeks developing, firm chin – promising well mannered lass.

BROWN/BLUE TABBY MAINE COON KITTEN – MALE

1ST. & BOB ASSINDERS CELTICOON CHARLIE BROWN – (3.10.08)
Brown Mackerel Tabby & White with a long lean body, strong high legs, big feet. Ears set very high and wide based, long tips, curve to broad nose, already has the square muzzle, firm chin, bright hazel oblique set to eyes. Glossy soft coat, frontal ruff coming in, shaggy tummy, nice tabby markings to head and body, paws, chest and tummy white, very long ringed tail reaching neck – super temperament.

FEMALE

1ST. LORDS SHEERCLASS PEGGI SOO – (12.9.08)
Brown Tabby & White, another who had good body length, and bone, high legs, rounded big feet. Head not yet caught up with her body development. Excellent set to high wide based ears, curve to nose, muzzle needing to widen, lovely bright oblique eyes. Soft coat, defined tabby markings to head, white to chest, tummy and paws, very long tail past shoulders – friendly girl to handle.

BROWN/BLUE TABBY MAINE COON NEUTER

A nice class, 3 cracking lads to consider for BOB.
BOB BUNCE IGR. PR COONTASTIC THE MINSTREL
– Mature well developed Brown Tabby & White boy in super show condition, strong head, well set high ears, bright eyes. Lovely glossy coat showing clear classic tabby marking – topped off with a wonderful temperament.
1ST. & PC KRANSER SURREPTITIOUS KINGMAGNUS – (12.6.07)
Long lean Brown Tabby with a broad strong head, wide based high ears, lovely big bright eyes obliquely set, curve to broad nose. Thick shaggy coat clear tabby to head and legs, slightly diffused on back, tail long and well furnished – friendly.

NORWEGIAN FOREST NEUTER – MALE

1ST. PC & BOB PATTERSONS FORESTSHADOW CONAN - (18.4.08)
Brown Tabby youngster with good bone and substance, strong legs, the back slightly higher, length to body. Triangular head, straight profile, ears settling to side, well furnished, bright green eyes set obliquely, needs a tad more strength to chin. Thick coat, shaggy tummy and trousers, mackerel tabby markings, long tail well furnished, slightly tapered –Well shown friendly lad.
2ND. HANDYS NORSMAGI TAVARIS (24.6.08)
Attractive Silver Tabby & White boy, triangular shape to head, has a slight rise to nose, ears wide based, nicely furnished, again needing stronger chin. Coat showing good tabby markings on silver ground, white to paws and tummy, long well furnished tail – youngster who has time on his side.

FEMALE

1ST. PC. DAVIES ROWGARNOR PATCHES – (1.5.08)
Blue Tortie Tabby & White with good dilute colours to head and body, white feet, tail long and full to shoulders. Long body, high legs. Triangular head shape with wide based ears fitting into the head contours, straight profile, eyes a little deep set – not too happy to be handled.

BOB ASHWORTHS IGR. PR RAGALYN BLUE LAGOON – (27.4.04)
Grand Blue lad who had the lot, type, coat, build and substance and a temperament to match, a pleasure to handle.
1ST. & PC STONES DIZZIPAWS JACK – (9.2.08)
Seal boy, with a long well padded body, strong legs and big feet. Broad head with wide based ears slightly tilted, eyes large an even mid blue, obliquely set, curve to nose and a good chin. Dark seal to ears and mask, even white inverted triangle to face, white chin, chest legs and tummy, rear legs white to body, bushy seal tail, body a creamy beige – well shown and good temperament.
2ND. LYLE MIDNIGHTSTAR DREAMCOMETRU – (17.6.08)
Seal with good bone and substance, length to boy, well padded, good bone. Ears set well wide at base, lovely deep blue oblique set to eyes, curve to nose. Dark seal to ears and mask, slightly uneven white triangle to face, chin, tummy, chest and paws white, long seal tail slightly tapered – not too happy to be handled today.

BROWN SPOTTED BENGAL NEUTER – MALE

BOB CRUTCHLEYS IGR PR. TOBYSDEN BALOU – (20.10.06)
Super lad both in type and temperament. Strong build with long muscular body, strong legs, large paws. Broad medium wedge shape to head, ears wide based, lovely oval green eyes, slight curve to profile. Sleek dense coat, warm golden base with clear markings – quality lad.
1ST & PC NUTTERS ADSETH ASIL SERHAM – (23.4.07)
Lithe lean boy, strong legs and round feet. Broad wedge shape to head, high cheeks, large bright hazel eyes, firm chin, thick neck. Dense soft coat showing arrowheads to sides, back lines broken, necklaces, clear scarab, spectacles round eyes, whisker spots, lips, eyes and nose leather outlined in black, spots to toes, legs ringed, tummy spotted, mid rufus ground, tail thick, slightly tapered – nice temperament.
2nd. WAGSTAFFS SEREGON TEDDY EDWARDS – (21.6.08)
Attractive lad very well marked, clear spots to side, back, necklaces, scarab over head, back lines breaking up, legs ringed, tail in proportion clear rings and dark tip. Well set ears, bright slightly oblique hazel eyes, firm chin – easy to handle.
3RD. PORTERS MUMANDACATS FULL MONTY –(7.8.08)
Only a youngster and still some growing to do, wearing a well rosetted coat, warm rufus ground with dark brown markings, head starting to broaden ears a touch large for balance, good chin – promising lad.

FEMALE

1ST. & PC HAINES DAINOAK LESHINALILIPAD – (29.5.05)
Well padded lady, length to body, strong legs and large paws. Mature head, medium wedge, curve from forehead to bridge of nose, well developed muzzle. Wide based ears, firm chin. Glossy sleek coat, warm rufus ground with nicely defined markings, 3 back lines that merge into two, slight linkage on flank, necklaces, spotted toes, rings to legs and tail - vocal but friendly lass.
2ND. JONES ADSESH YAMAKA PRINCESS – (23.4.07)
Well marked girl who was not at all happy to be handled but we did get her out of the pen. Glossy coat with nice spotting, some diffusion to back. Good wedge shape to head, but muzzle slightly narrow.

1ST. LEES SHEERBLISS GIFTWRAPPED
- Silver Spotted Exotic, attractive youngster already has good coat texture, standing away nicely. Soft silvery ground with clear body spots. Head rounded, neat ears, big eyes the colour not fully sorted, firm chin. Tail thick, rounded at tip – lively lad.

AC PERSIAN SENIOR NEUTER

1ST. WHITES CH. & PR. SHARIGHIMA THE GOV’NOR
– Mature Red Self boy with a profuse well groomed coat of a rich sound red, short bushy tail in balance. Broad head, small ears, lovely big deep orange eyes, firm chin. Solid cobby build – quality lad.
2ND. PERKINS PR. ZENITH DUDLEY
– Black/White Bi-Colour, cobby and well padded. Broad head, neat ears, large eyes would like a deeper colour, short nose, firm chin – friendly boy.

– Red Tabby Colourpoint with a lovely pale clear coat, strong red to ears and short tail. Tabby showing on head, slightly on legs, good bone and substance – easy going lad.

– Brown Marbled lad another with a lovely marked coat, well developed body and legs, bright eyes and nice ear set – good temperament.

- Brown Spotted girl with a super temperament, pleasure to handle.

AC SINGAPURA CAT

1ST. BATES CATOMINE JOLLY JESTER
– Only just over 9 months but already has the lithe muscular body. Rounded skull with large eyes, wide based ears, firm chin, nose leather salmon, slightly outlined in sepia, cheetah lines from eyes. Old ivory body with even sepia ticking, pale ivory to inner legs, tummy and chest – very affectionate boy.
2ND. PAVEY VALISA DAISYBELL
– Sweet lass, small in build but in balance, rounded skull, bright wide open hazel eyes, slight stop to profile, firm chin. Fine silky coat, ivory ticked in mid sepia, tail to shoulder dark at tip – shy lass.
