Many thanks to Jean & Brenda for my invite to judge. I was fortunate to have my colleague Mark Pearman helping me in the stewarding department today. Always a great pleasure Mark & thank you for your great company & expertise. Also for the marked catalogue! I look forward to the next time!

AC Persian Self Premier Male;

GPC WHITE’S CH & PR SHARISHIMA THE GOV’NOR (4, 13/1/06).

A smashing start to the day! This Red lad has super balanced type with a broad masculine head & fairly neat ears. Deep copper eyes of excellent size & shape. Very short broad nose. Full cheeks & firm chin. Level bite. Excellent full coat which was expertly prepared. Mid red & almost sound. Just ghost tabby markings to his front legs. Very cobby body. Short full tail.

AC Birman Champion Male;

GCC Withheld. 1 PORTSMOUTH’S GR CH CHURSTON MUSCAR CRISPEN (13c5, 16/8/06).

Red point lad of quite good type. Good width to head with medium ears held well. Deep blue eyes which were slightly small & a little deep-set. Medium nose with good dip, just slightly roman. Fairly good width to cheeks. Level bite. Chin is slightly weak. Coat of good length & fairly well prepared – white could be a little more sparkling. Mid red to all points. Well matched gloves & socks. Matching tapered gauntlets. Well grown lad with good body shape. Medium tail, well furnished. I was sorry to withhold, but overall I didn’t feel he was up to Grand standard today.

GCC METHVEN’S GR CH LADYPAWS MARSHMALLOW (13c10, 9/2/07).

Sweet Lilac Tortie point lass of lovely balanced type. Good width to head with medium ears set well. Deep blue eyes of good shape & fairly good size. Medium nose with good dip, just slightly roman. Good width to cheeks. Level bite & fairly good chin. Coat of super length & texture, expertly prepared. Clear to body with pale lilac & cream to all points. Gloves just slightly mis-matched. Well matched socks. Matching tapered gauntlets. Very well grown girl with good body shape. Medium tail, well furnished.

Blue Persian Adult Female;

CC Withheld. 1 SMITH’S SOUTHKITTY BLUE MINX (3, 29/3/08).

Sweet girl of good type. Head just a touch small to balance her body. Good width between fairly neat ears. Mid orange eyes of good size & shape. Very short broad nose. Full cheeks & firm chin. Bite slightly undershot & sadly very mal-ocluded. Coat fairly full & well prepared. Mid blue, just fractionally shady. Quite a cobby body shape, but I would prefer her to be larger in size. Short full tail.

Red/Cream/Tortie Group Birman Adult Male;

1 CC DAVIES’ CARISMOON JACKFLASH (13c5, 23/4/08).

Young Red point lad of good type – already well balanced for a teenager. Good width to head. Ears just a touch large & open at present. Mid blue eyes of good size & shape. Medium nose with good dip. Fairly good width to cheeks. Level bite & good chin. Coat well prepared & of good length – just a touch coarse in texture & showing a little shading to body. Mid red to all points. Well matched gloves & socks. Matching tapered gauntlets. Fairly well grown lad with good body shape. Medium tail, well furnished. Rather unhappy today.

BOB METHVEN’S GR CH LADYPAWS MARSHMALLOW. 1CC ALLEN’S TISANTI FIREFROST AMBER (13c10, 12/7/08).

Sweet Lilac Tortie point girl of good type. Fairly good width to head – ears held just a touch tall at present. Deep blue eyes of good size & shape. Medium nose with good dip, just slightly roman. Fairly good width to cheeks. Level bite & good chin. Coat of good length & expertly presented. Clear to body. Pale lilac & cream to most of her points – only a very faint trace of pale lilac to the side of her front legs, but the hall lighting was quite poor so she had the benefit of the doubt today! Gloves slightly high – especially the right glove. Well matched socks & matching tapered gauntlets. Fairly well grown with good body shape. Medium tail, well furnished.

Norwegian Forest Adult Male;

1CC ROWBERRY’S CH ROWGARNOR AMUND (67 18a, 6/8/07).

Adolescent Blue Silver Tabby lad with quite good triangular head shape, just looking a touch pinched in the muzzle at present as he goes through his teenage stage. Ears quite well set – could be a touch larger. Hazel eyes of good size & shape. Almost straight profile. Level bite & good chin. Coat of good length, just needing a touch more preparation to really sparkle. Good double coat. Biscuit colour background, slightly paler undercoat & good mid blue tabby markings. Well grown lad with good body shape. Well furnished tail of good length.

Norwegian Forest Adult Female;

1CC BOB FISHLOCK-LOMAX’S ADATELO REINE LE CHATEAU (67 31gt, 15/4/08).

Lovely young Blue Tortie Tabby & White girl of super balanced type. Excellent triangular head shape with well set ears of good size. Expressive green eyes of excellent size & shape which were well opened. Excellent straight profile. Level bite & good chin. Coat well prepared & of good length, showing god double coat. White inverted ‘V’ to face & white to body with patches of colour. Well grown body of good length. Tail of good length – just slightly sparse at present. She was a little nervous today.

2 DAVIES’ ROWGARNOR GABRIELA (67 31ats, 26/4/08).

Nicely balanced Blue Silver Tabby & White girl of good type with good triangular head shape. Ears of good size held well. Hazel eyes of good size & shape. Almost straight profile. Level bite & good chin. Coat of good length & well prepared. Good double coat evident. White blaze & white socks, with Blue Silver Tabby markings elsewhere. Excellent body weight & shape. Long tail, well furnished.

3 FISHLOCK-LOMAX’S ADATELO PENNYPARFAITDAMOUR (67 31gt, 15/4/08).

Litter sister to the winning girl and another nice female with good triangular head shape, just showing a slight whisker pinch at present. Ears held just a touch tall. Green eyes of good size & shape. Good straight profile. Level bite & good chin. Coat of good length & well prepared, showing good double coat. Well grown girl with good body shape. Tail of good length – just a touch sparse today.

4 HANDY’S NOYNAROCK MYSTIC MEG (67 18, 31/7/08).

Sweet Silver Tabby girl of good balanced type with good triangular head shape. Green eyes of good size & shape. Nose almost straight, just showing slight bump. Level bite & good chin. Coat expertly prepared & of good length, showing good double coat. Clear tabby markings – also showing tortie shades overlaying these. Well grown body with good muscle tone & good shape. Long bushy tail to balance. Super temperament.

5 READ’S WESTLAKES AUTUMN BREEZE (67 31ets, 15/4/08).

Tortie Silver Tabby & White lass with quite a pleasing expression. Good triangular head shape with ears of good size set well. Green eyes of excellent size & shape, very well opened. Profile almost straight. Level bite. Chin could be a touch stronger for balance. Coat well prepared & of good length. Texture is still just a little soft. Attractive patterning throughout. Very well grown body of good length. Well furnished tail of good length.

6 MORRIS’ ANGELITOS KIYOS FAIRY KISS (67 31es).

Young Tortie Smoke & White girl who’s going through an awkward stage & lacking balance at present. Ears held rather close. She also has slight squaring to her muzzle at present which is spoiling the overall triangular head shape. Amber eyes of good size & well opened, just set a fraction close. Nose showing straight profile, but rather broad which detracts from the facial balance a little. Coat rather coarse & a little sparse at present, but double coat clearly present. Well grown body of good length. Tail rather sparsely furnished but of good length.

Blue Point Birman Neuter Male;

1 PC BLATHERWICK’S KYNOBI LUCAS (13c2, 8/8/08).

Sweet lad of good balanced type. Good width to head with medium ears set well. Deep sapphire blue eyes of excellent size & shape. Medium nose with good dip in profile. Excellent width to cheeks. Level bite & good chin. Excellent coat which had been expertly prepared. Clear to body & mid blue to all points. Well matched gloves & socks. Matching tapered gauntlets. Very well grown body of good shape. Medium tail, well furnished. Very unlucky to meet the female today!

Lovely mature female of super balanced type. Excellent width to head with medium ears set well. Mid blue eyes of good size & shape. Medium nose with good dip in profile. Excellent width to cheeks. Level bite & good chin. Coat of good length & texture & well prepared. Fractionally shady to body, mid blue to all points. Well matched gloves & socks. Matching tapered gauntlets. Very well grown with good body shape. Medium tail to balance, well furnished. A super girl with wonderful show presence.

AC Colourpointed/Mitted Ragdoll Neuter Female;

1 PC BOB HAWORTH’S CH LEASOWES ANGELICA (66w, 6/5/03).

Very attractive Seal Mitted girl of good balanced type. Good flat plane to head with medium ears set well. Mid blue eyes of good size & shape. Medium nose with good dip & slightly retrousse at tip. Good width to cheeks. Level bite & strong chin. Coat of good length & fairly well prepared – just a little harsh in texture. Slightly shady to body with deep seal to all points. White to chin and underneath. White to front paws up to the base of the legs and on back paws to hocks. Very well grown lass with good body shape. Long bushy tail to balance.

2 PARKES’ KYETSI KANDLEINTHEWIND (66, 1/10/04).

Seal Colourpointed girl of quite pleasing type – just looking a fraction square in the muzzle at present. Good flat plane to head with medium ears set well. Large mid blue eyes – just slightly round & bold. Nose showing dip. Good width to cheeks. Level bite & good chin. Coat of good length & very well prepared. Slightly shady to body with deep seal to all points. Very well grown girl with good body shape. Tail of good length, well furnished.

AC Non-Self Adult Male;

1 HIGGINS’ ALINDAS BAM BAM.

Superb Black & White boy of lovely type. Excellent top of head with neat ears. Pale orange eyes of excellent size & shape. Very short broad nose. Full cheeks & firm chin. Level bite. Full coat which was expertly prepared. Around 90% clear white. Black patches to head and legs. Black tail, just slightly paler underneath at present. Very cobby body which is well grown. Short full tail, just with slight imperfection at the tip.

2 AMBLER’S TYTHERTON RALPH LAUREN.

Huge Red & White boy of excellent type. Good top of head with neat ears. Eyes of good size & deep copper in colour – I would like the shape to be a little more round. Very short broad nose. Full cheeks & firm chin. Level bite. Massive coat which was very well prepared. Clear white to 90% of his body. Mid red to tail with mid red patches to body & head. Very well grown with good cobby shape. Short full tail.

Lovely Blue & White girl with excellent balanced type. Broad head with neat ears. Excellent deep copper eyes of good size & shape. Very short broad nose. Full cheeks & firm chin. Level bite. Coat of good length & well prepared – just showing a smidge of staining to chin area. Around 70% white with mid blue to head & tail and a patch of mid blue to body. Very well grown with good body shape. Short full tail.

Sweet Black & White girl of good type. Good width to head with neat ears. Mid orange eyes of good size & shape. Very short broad nose. Full cheeks & Firm chin. Level bite. Coat of good length & expertly prepared. Clear white with mid blue patches. Fairly cobby body. Short full tail.

Lilac Cream girl of lovely type. Good top of head with neat ears. Pale orange eyes of fairly good size & good shape, just showing a smidge of a green rim. Very short broad nose. Fairly good width to cheeks. Bite fractionally undershot. Good chin. Lovely coat of good length which had been expertly prepared. Mid lilac & cream softly intermingled throughout. Cobby body. Shirt full tail.

2 BRAY & GRIGGS’ CHARBONELLA YEAHBUTNOBUT.

Young Black Exotic girl of good type, just old enough for the adult classes. Good width to head with ears of good size held well. Deep copper eyes – she was rather reluctant to open them, the shape appears fairly good, but I would prefer them to be larger. Very short broad nose. Fairly good width to cheeks. Bite fractionally undershot. Coat well prepared & of good texture, standing out well from her body. Jet black & almost sound. Her body shape is cobby and she is of good weight for her size, but I would prefer her to be larger. Short strong legs with good rounded paws. Short tail to balance.

Lovely Black & White Maine Coon lad of excellent type. Good width to head with ears of good size held well. Green eyes of excellent size & shape. Nose showing good curve in profile. Good width to muzzle. Level bite & strong chin. Coat of good length & well prepared. Jet black to body, head & tail. White patch to face with white to paws, chin & underneath. Excellent body shape & very well grown. Strong legs. Long tail to balance, well furnished.

White to paws, chin & bib and showing good tabby markings throughout. Good double coat. Excellent body shape & length. Long tail to balance, well furnished.

Huge Brown Tabby & White Maine Coon lad of good type. Good width to head with ears of good size set well. Green eyes of good size & shape. Nose showing gentle curve in profile. Good width to muzzle. Level bite & good chin. Coat of good length & well prepared. White to chin & underneath, & white to paws. Good tabby marking s – just slightly solid to back at present. Very well grow. Good tail.

Level bite & good depth to a strong chin. Excellent coat of lovely stain texture, expertly presented & close lying. Shades of mid chocolate & red throughout. Muscular body of good length. Adolescent Cream lad who’s doing quite well for his age, but still needing it all to come together a little. Gently rounded head with ears of good size held well. Mid chartreuse eyes of good size & shape. Nose showing fairly good break. Cheeks need to develop a little as he matures. Level bite. Chin could be a touch stronger for better balance. Excellent coat of generally good satin texture, just a little coarser at base of spine. Close lying & of pleasing mid cream colour. Well grown lad with good body shape. Medium tail tapering to rounded tip.
