My thanks to Jean and Brenda for the invitation, I had some lovely cats who considering how hot it got were all in a reasonable mood, I was very pleased to have the company of Karen Holloway as my steward. Karen is great fun to spend the day with so I hope she can fit me in again quite soon. BRITISH CREAM ADULT MALE1. C.C. W/H GAINS’S CATBALU VINNIE BISQUITS (17) M 09/05/08A lovely natured boy who had a rather feminine look and was a little small for his age. Well rounded head with wide smooth skull between slightly large ears, expressive round eyes a super deep orange colour. Short nose with a definite dip, he has small round cheeks which give him his slightly feminine look, level bite and fair chin. Fair boning to his frame, he is standing rather tall and is a little light weight, short mid cream coat it lacked undercoat so was very flat lying, unsound to the roots and also seemed to be ticked to the tips, long rather thin tail. C.C withheld due to problems with his coat. BRITISH CREAM ADULT FEMALE1. C.C. W/H TILLEY’S SKELLUM HONEYBUNN (17) F 25/05/09Super nature to this girl who was very easy to handle. Head rounding well with medium width between large ears that were wide to the base. Round eyes with a rich orange colour developing, short broad nose, she needs to fill out her muzzle as she has a defined whisker break at present, level bite and fair chin. Lovely size and boning to her body, she too is a little long but will be a big girl when she fills out. Short dense coat a little soft in texture, a dark cream with rather heavy ghost tabby markings at present, full tail showing rings. C.C. withheld due to tabby markings. BRITISH BLUE TORTOISESHELL & WHITE ADULT1. C.C. B.O.B. FINCH’S TYPICALLY DITA VON TEESE (22a) F 14/07/09Not a big girl but with beautiful balance and a lovely innocent expression, she was so scrumptious I had to try the kiss test on her and she passed with flying colours. Well rounded head with smooth skull between well set medium sized ears, large round orange eyes, short straight nose full rounded cheeks level bite and good chin. A compact body nicely balanced with short sturdy limbs and neat firm round paws. Superb density and texture to coat a mid blue, soft cream and sparkling white. White blaze to face, white also to legs and tummy, almost full collar, she has clearly defined patches to her head and parts of her body, just a fraction mingled to base of back. Full tail with rounded tip. BRITISH GOLDEN TIPPED ADULT1. C.C. B.O.B. AMARILLI’S OLD POSSUMS RUFUS (75) M 05/07/09Such a sweet boy purring away, which of course helped persuade me when I was considering the certificate. Head starting to round but needs to fill out with narrow top between medium sized ears a fraction wide to the base. Large round eyes a fabulous green colour, broad straight nose he has very shallow cheeks and a thin muzzle which makes his head look rather long, level bite and fair pale coloured chin. Lovely boning to body just rather long at the moment it needs to fill out, good coat for length and density with dark even tipping to the ends a light apricot to the roots. Short full tail, I did debate on the C.C. but he has a lot of promise and superb “charm the judge” skills which tipped the balance. BRITISH BLACK SILVER SPOTTED KITTEN1. B.O.B. POTTS VINMAR JENNYMANYDOTS (30s) F 05/01/10What a little stunner and with such a cheeky nature. Apple shaped head with nice wide top and neat well set ears, expressive round eyes I generously called a rather strong hazel, this is her only fault. Short broad nose full fat cheeks and rounded muzzle, level bite with double canines at present, good chin. Compact frame with thick short well boned legs, short pale silver coat with clear dense black markings, M to face, almost separated spine line and clear well defined side spots, full tail with rounded tip and well defined rings. BRITISH TIPPED KITTEN1. B.O.B. KEELING’S GOODERICK CADHLA (39) F 08/02/10Black Tipped. A tiny poppet at her first show, she took it all in her stride and didn’t seem at all overawed. Small round head with fair width between medium sized ears, round fully outlined eyes the green colour is starting to develop, short straight nose with rather pale nose leather and only half outline, she has very slight cheeks and fine muzzle, level bite, her chin is a little weak. A small but compact shape, nice length and density to coat with medium even tipping to ends, long rather thin tail with pointed tip. 2. KEELING’S GOODERICK CRAZYLITTLETHING (39) F 08/02/10Black Tipped. Litter sister to my winner, she was smaller but had the same confident nature. Small quite round head with narrow top between medium sized ears, round fully outlined eyes again the colour is starting to develop, short straight nose with light pink leather and almost full outline, her cheeks and muzzle need to fill, level bite and fair chin. Tiny framed with short legs and fine paws. Short coat that lacked density and it was on this that her sister won, it has very light even tipping to the ends, again a long very thin tail. BRITISH BLACK SILVER SPOTTED NEUTER MALE1. P.C. B.O.B. HAWLEY’S ALFRESCA CAPTAIN KIRK (30s) MN 22/08/08A large boy with a soft nature, fairly round head with smooth skull between ears that were a fraction on the large side, large round eyes with a green colour coming from round the pupil. Broad straight nose full cheeks and rounded muzzle, level bite and fair chin, he has splendid boning to his frame it is rather long and he stood tall, when he fills out he is going to be a tonne weight. Short coat a dark silver with clear dense black markings, his spine lines are visible but a fraction linked, the side spots are better to the right hand side, full well ringed tail. 2. STAPLES ANTIGUASON MUNGOJERRIE (30s) MN 10/03/08Another very friendly boy, lovely round face with full cheeks, good breadth of skull between well set medium sized ears, round eyes a very pale colour, short broad nose, level bite and good chin. Compact shape to sturdy boned frame he is a heavy boy but still looks balanced, short crisp mid silver coat with dense black markings, the spine lines are separating and there is good definition to the side spots unfortunately he has fawning to his nose and also a large patch to the left side of his body, balanced length tail showing rings. BRITISH BLACK SILVER SPOTTED NEUTER FEMALE1. P.C. MARSHALL’S PR SUTILLIAN SILVER GRACIE (30s) FN 30/12/07This girl was not at all keen on the boy next door and told us and him what she thought. Round head with medium width between well set ears, large round eyes a pale lemon colour, quite full cheeks, rounded muzzle, large teeth that on a very quick view were level. Compact shaped well filled frame with short thick legs and large firm round paws. Short very dense coat that was just starting to moult, a dark silver with dense black markings, the spine line and side spots are rather linked but visible, full ringed tail. 2. PERRY’S JENTORIA MATILDA’S MAJIC (30s) FN 27/03/08This girl had a real grumpy expression, she wasn’t happy but was not difficult to handle. Quite round head with smooth top between rather large ears, round rather pale coloured eyes, broad straight nose, fairly full cheeks and rounded muzzle, level bite and fair chin. Square shaped sturdy boned frame with short thick legs, short coat which could be denser, a very dark silver which makes the black markings not so clear, the spine lines are solid and the side spots rather linked, medium length tail with thick rings.
