SCOTIA CAT CLUB

19.9.09 MRS. PAT PERKINS – SHOW REPORT

A big thank you to all at the Scotia for a lovely time at the show, excellent friendly hospitality, super lunch and some great exhibits to handle. Linda Johnstone stewarded for me she was a great help throughout a busy day as well as being good company, thanks Linda.

AC PERSIAN IMPERIAL – MALE

IMP. NIVENS GR. CH. NOREXOTIKATTS CASPERCAROT – (12.4.06)

well made Red Tabby Exotic, cobby build, short thick legs. Round masculine head with well set ears, good chin, big expressive eyes of a mid orange, nice full cheeks. Coat standing away nicely on sides, moulting but with well defined classic tabby to head, legs and sides, thick short ringed tail – gentle temperament.

1ST. CC. & BOB DEMBRISKI QUIZZICAT STILL FIZZIN – (21.6.08)

open faced lad with super big round rich orange eyes, medium nose, good stop, ears a fraction open at base, nicely furnished. Well groomed coat, although there was not doubt he was a working boy, rich red with only slight tabby to head, super tail, broad with short – friendly lad.

1ST. CC & BOB McCLUSKEYS CH. JOHNNYCAKE SNOW PRINCESS – (31.5.08)

Very pretty young lady wearing a soft pale coat, only slight surface shading to flanks, well developed mask showing good tortie colours, tortie on legs, tail wide and two tone. Small compact build, stocky legs, nice width between small well furnished ears, big eyes of a mid blue, short nose with two tone leather, good chin – lovely natured little lass.

BOB NIVENS CH. DOLINA XCALIBER – (12.8.04)

Solid chunky Black lad, a little on edge, strong butch head, with full cheeks, small ears, firm chin, short wide nose, good break, big round orange eyes. Glossy coat, moulting but a sound black.

1ST. & CC PATERSONS ADSETSH CHICIAGO BEAR – (4.7.07)

Sturdy Blue, thick legs rounded feet. Apple head, forward set ears just a touch open at base, short nose, strong chin, full cheeks, nice balance, rounded orange eyes. Coat has good texture, but again he was moulting, an even sound blue, thick tail with rounded end – nice temperament.

BOB CRAIG AND BELLS CH. SHEERLISS MIRROR IMAGE – (19.9.07)

Worthy BOB winner a Tortie Silver Tabby & White girl with a most attractive coat, showing tortie colours well distributed, tabby to head and legs, short thick tail, ringed and two coloured, pristine white to legs, chest and tummy. Cobby build, round head with tiny ears, super big rich copper eyes, firm chin – a quality lass with a temperament to match.

EXOTIC TABBY (with or without white) KITTEN – MALE

1ST & BOB HAWTHORNES SHEERBLISS NEMO – (11.5.09)

Cracking Silver Tabby & White youngster, already has good bone, strong legs, round head with neat ears, still a tad open at base, well furnished, short wide nose, good break, big round eyes a promising muddy brown, firm chin, nice overall balance. Lovely coat the white sparkling, classic black tabby to head, body and legs, thick ringed tail – delightful temperament.

2ND. SATTARS SHEERBLISS LEONARDO – (15.5.09)

Silver Tabby baby of just over 4 months, compact solid build, strong legs. Coat showing nice overall dark grey tabby markings on a pale silver ground, very nice texture standing away very well for such a youngster, tail short and thick showing rings. Rounded head, full cheeks, broad nose with good stop, rounded eyes just a tad overshadowed by brow, again a promising muddy brown – super friendly lad.

CRAIG & BELLS SHEERBLISS MYSTICAL CHARM – (15.5.09)

Tortie Silver Tabby & White a lovely baby who I wanted to stick in my pocket and take home, only just over 4 months but solid and compact. Round apple head, small ears, round muddy brown eyes, short little nose, firm chin, fat cheeks. Most attractive coat showing bright tortie patches on a silvery ground, clear tabby to head, tail tiny and ringed, coat already developing a good texture – lively friendly kitty.

CHINCHILLA NEUTER – FEMALE

1ST. PC & BOB CARMICALS CH. TOMOSAH CARLY – (14.8.06)

Small but compact lady with good bone and substance. Coat full and well groomed, just changing on lower back, even light tipping, bushy short tail. Rounded top of head, neat well furnished ears, lovely round eyes of a good aqua, well outlined, medium nose with fair break, deep rose leather, firm chin – bit of a madam but handled alright.

1ST. PC & BOB DEMBRISKIS IMP. GR CH LINDENLEAC VANILLA – (26.5.03)

Blue/White wearing a profuse very well groomed coat, mid even blue to body and head, white to face, neck and legs, tail short, wide a sound blue. Broad head with neat ears, super rich copper eyes, tiny feathered ears, full cheeks, firm chin. Strong bone, thick legs with big tufted feet – quality lad who was very shy.

1ST. PC & BOB CAMPBELLS DEDANNAN BLUE BOY BLUE – (26.8.08)

youngster with a super temperament, walked out of his pen and climbed all over us. Rounded top of head, well set ears, short nose with strong break, leather a tad small, firm chin, rounded orange eyes. Good bone, still a little adolescent in build, strong legs and rounded feet. Coat thick standing away well over body a sound even blue, tail in balance with rounded end.

1ST. PC & BOB HAWTHORNES SHEERBLISS VOULEY VOUS – (26.7.08)

attractive Red Silver Tabby & White boy, muscular build strong bone, thick legs. Broad round head, ears just a tad open as yet, big eyes of a lovely copper colour, short wide nose, good stop, full cheeks, acceptable bite. Thick coat of a good texture, pristine white to face, paws and tummy, good tabby markings on a silvery red ground to body and head, tail thick and ringed – super temperament.

2ND. SATTARS SHEERBLISS SHERE KHAN – (31.5.08)

Red Tabby, at present just a little adolescent in build, but nice bone and strong legs, big rounded feet. Coat a warm red with distinct darker classic tabby markings, good overall texture, tail short and thick, well ringed. Width to top of head, ears a little open at base but set nicely, short nose with ample stop, firm chin, super round copper eyes – another lad with a friendly nature.

BOB CAMPBELLS GR. CH. DOTCOM LESTER Brown Classic Tabby & White (5.6.07)

Lovely long lean boy, high legs, big feet. Strong masculine head with high set ears wide at base, well furnished and tipped, eyes obliquely set a greenish hazel, broad nose with a gentle curve, firm chin and strong muzzle. Glossy coat showing clear classic tabby markings to head and body, very long full tail reaching neck – a gentleman to handle.

1ST. CC & BOB DAVIDSONS LIONMAINE BEARFACE BRIAN (28.10.08)

Classic Silver Tabby & White boy, only 10 months but already has the build, length to body, thick high legs and big tufted feet. Strong skull, nose broad with a gentle concave curve, firm chin, ears high set, wide at base, nicely furnished and tipped, bright eyes in an oblique setting. Glossy coat showing good tabby markings on a silvery ground, he did have some tarnishing to his face and body, pristine white to paws, chest and tummy, long flowing tail to shoulders - laid back boy.

2ND. GRAIGS DYNAMICATS SATURDAY SYMPHONY – (16.10.07)

Classic Silver Tabby boy wearing a well marked coat, M, eye lines and spectacles to head, rings to chest, legs and tail. Long bodied with strong legs high, rounded feet. Wide based high ears, long tips, nose broad with gentle curve, would like to see a little more strength to chin. Tail long and flowing to shoulders – well mannered lad.

AC BI-COLOUR RAGDOLL KITTEN – MALE

1st. BRESLINS HOLLYGRAM ROYAL PRINSE – (11.4.09)

Seal youngster with length to body, good bone, neat rounded paws. Ears slightly tilted forward, flat plane between, eyes of a good almost sound blue, muzzle rather narrow but he has lots of time to fill out. Well groomed coat a warm beige, good seal to points, white to paws, legs and underbody, V to face slightly uneven, should improve when muzzle widens, tail long, a dark seal reaching just past shoulders – lovely temperament.

FEMALE

1ST. & BOB CHALMERS CATSROOL MULAN – (27.4.09)

Sweet Blue girl who unlike the boy had not yet started to go through the leggy “stage. Very soft pale bluish white body coat, no shading, points an even bluish grey, white legs, chin, bib and under body white, just a pale touch of colour on top of front legs. Tail bluish grey reaching shoulders. Balanced head with ears slightly forward set, good width between flat plane to forehead, gentle dip to nose, firm chin, eyes slightly oblique, a soft baby blue, attractive lass nice to handle.

1ST & BOB MISKELLYS GLENDAVAN MISS-DEFY – (21.3.09)

Well developed Seal Tabby Colourpointed girl, good length to body and developing good bone. Flat plane and good width between wide based ears, slight dip to nose, firm chin, deep blue obliquely set eyes. Pale beige to body, very slight shading to back, good clear tabby to mask, M, eye lines and spectacles, rings to legs and tail, ears and tail dark seal – super temperament. 5.

BOB McGURKS GR. PR. DOTCOM IMONFIRE – (10.10.07)

Massive Red Tabby & White lad, built like a tank, thick glossy coat showing clear rich red tabby markings, white to paws, legs, and chest. Strong broad head, ears set high and wide based, long tips, broad nose, bright oblique set eyes, square muzzle and depth to chin. Very thick well groomed coat, lovely texture, long flowing ringed tail, strong long body and thick high legs – super lad to handle. 1ST. PC W/H DAVIES PR. YAHESKA AVALANCH – (4.11.06) Mature Green-eyed White boy, I was so sorry to withhold the PC as he had excellent bone, substance and strong head, but although his coat was a pristine white it was knotted underneath and needed much more preparation, pity as otherwise he was a super lad and great to handle.

1st & PC SUVICOON BLUEBERRY MUFFIN – (6.9.06) –

Blue Tortie Tabby solid girl, well developed, strong bone and good length to body, high legs feet rounded with slight undertufts. Coat showing dilute tortie colours, tabby markings on head, legs and tail, texture seasonally changing at present. High well set ears, good tips and furnishings, curve to nose, firm chin, bright eyes obliquely set – gentle temperament.

2ND. RUSH GOLDSTAR BLUEBERRY MUFFIN – (15.5.06)

Blue Cream who was solid and well made, excellent bone and well padded. Coat texture thick showing mingled blue and cream, body balanced with a long well furnished tail Medium head, ears wide based, would like them higher, nose broad with a slight curve, big expressive oblique set eyes, needs more length to head and a stronger chin – friendly lady.

NORWEGIAN FOREST NEUTER

BOB BALFOURS PR NORSHELIAN TOR LARSSON –( 23.4.06)

Well developed Silver Tabby & White lad, length to body, nice boning, triangular shaped head, ears wide based fitting well into head shape, straight profile, good chin, eyes a greenish hue. Thick coat with nice ruff, showing black markings on a silver ground, some slight seasonal brindling, long tail just past shoulders – laid back boy.

1ST. & PC BLACKS WEESAMS KININVIE – (26.6.07)

Brown Tabby who was a little on edge. Soft but full coat showing mackerel tabby markings on a fawn ground, shaggy tummy and trousers, tail ringed just to shoulders. Triangular head with ears set well, straight nose, fair chin, greenish eyes which were set very obliquely. Length to body, strong legs and big feet.

SIBERIAN NEUTER ASSESSMENT

MERIT TO: WILSONS CATREBA NAGLAYA – (31.5.05)

Seal Tabby Colourpointed, a striking boy in super condition, has real body heft, excellent coat with the correct undercoat and slightly harsher top coat, nice tabby markings to head, legs and some rings to seal tail. Eyes a good blue, wide set, width to cheeks, firm chin, ears set well apart, nicely furnished. Strong solid bone thick legs, bushy wide tail – a quality boy with a lovely temperament, a good example of the breed.

Red/White Bi- Colour young lady, lovely coat pristine white with sound red patches. Broad head, neat ears and really super big copper eyes - friendly lass.

1ST. CAMPBELLS BARNMOUR THE PATRIOT –

Well Developed Cream/White Bi-Colour lad, solid and sturdy, with a broad masculine head, nice orange eyes, broad nose with good stop. Soft coat white with soft cream patching, short cream tail – gentle lad.

Chinchilla boy who had a very nice soft coat with even sparkling tipping, short fluffy tail. Nice top of head, big eyes the colour coming from centre, still teething – promising kitty.

1ST. SMITHS PR. WOOSY UHPH-N-PUFF –

Striking Cream Smoke boy with a warm cream top coat showing excellent contrasts, sound mask. Broad rounded top of head, well furnished ears, lovely rich copper eyes. Solid build balanced with a full short tail – quality lad.

AC SEMI-LH BREEDERS ADULT – FEMALE

1ST. JOHNSTONES TUYET WHISPER -

Mature Brown Tabby & White Norwegian of just over 2 years. Length to body, high legs, triangular head with a nice straight profile, oblique set eyes, firm chin. Good texture to coat showing tabby markings on a warm fawn ground, full ringed tail – nice temperament.

2ND. HAMILTONS TRELGAINDORF RULE BRITANIA –

10 month old Tortie Tabby & White Maine Coon. Long and lean, strong high legs, rounded feet. Glossy coat showing tortie colours and nice tabby markings especially to head and legs. Lovely ear set, wide based and high on head. curve to nose, good chin – friendly girl.

Black & White Maine Coon boy with a glossy black coat, white feet, chest and tummy, long flowing tail. Good bone and length to body. High tipped ears, bright oblique set eyes, at only 5 months a promising youngster.

2ND. McGOWAN ESAYA DREAMLOVER OF DYFRIG –

Attractive Chocolate Birman lad, very nice pale clear coat with warm chocolate to points, mask developing over nose, eyes still a baby blue, good chin. Bushy tail of a mid chocolate colour – friendly boy.

Brown Tabby & White Maine Coon, coat showing excellent classic tabby markings on fawn ground, white to paws, chest and tummy, long plume of a tail. Excellent set to ears, high on head, tipped and feathered, bright oblique eyes, gentle curve to nose, good muzzle, at 7 months has the length to body and good boning –well shown.

3RD. GORDONS JULESCOON BROGANS DELIGHT –

Massive well developed Brown Tabby.

1ST. SOUTHALLS GOWLAREN ALEXIANUS –

Mature Usual Somali with a lovely rich coat, nice ticking, black spine line continuing to end of tail. Good head shape, ears set well wide at base, bright eyes obliquely set, firm chin, smiley expression – striking lad.

2ND. SKILLINGS PR. RUBICATZ CODRED –

Well developed Red Bi-Colour Ragdoll, warm red to head and ears, even inverted white triangle to face, white to legs, underbody, chest and chin. Flat plane to forehead, nice slightly forward set to ears, super deep blue eyes – gentle lad to handle.
