OPEN CLASSES
SNOW SPOTTED BENGAL ADULT
1ST CC & BOB BENNETT’S AFFECTIONATE MOONSTONE (76a 30) F 17.04.08
A young aoc-eyed girl of only 9 months but well-grown and a good weight for her size. Head a medium wedge, longer than wide, it could do with a little more width and hopefully this will improve as she matures but she does have a typical Bengal look. Rounded contours to the head, deep concave curve to the profile, level bite but her chin falls away a little. Well-set ears that are not too large or tall. Large expressive eyes of lovely shape & set and a good greeny colour. Long muscular body with limbs & tail to balance. Soft coat but it could be denser & more luxurious, clearly spotted with brown markings on a tan base. Good head markings with clear pencilling on the cheeks. Complex scarab marking, broken spine line, spotted tummy & ringed tail with a dark tip. A quiet girl with a gentle nature though she was feeling the cold first thing in the morning.
EGYPTIAN MAU NEUTER
1ST PC & BOB ROWAN & SMITH’S MEMPHIS AMUN RE (78 30s) MN 09.03.08
A handsome young silver spotted fellow of 11 months who is well-grown, strong & muscular. Head a modified wedge with rounded contours & good muzzle that flows into the contours of his head. Gentle contour to the profile, level bite but his chin could be a little stronger. Lovely parallel nose. Medium ears set wide apart & large straight-set eyes of a greeny colour which appeared to be still developing though no amber cast. Strong muscular body with limbs to balance & moderately long tail, slightly tapering with a black tip. Close-lying coat clearly spotted with black on a silvery-white agouti base. Swirls on the shoulders, some spots on the body verging on being linked but acceptable. Clear colour with just very slight tarnish on his nose. Shown in lovely condition. Later Best Foreign Exhibit, congratulations to his owners and breeders.
