*THE NATIONAL CAT CLUB SHOW 28.11.2009*Mrs Ann IvinsonI would like to thank Carol and Ron Pike for my invitation to judge at the National Cat Club Show which was so well organised, and I really enjoyed my day. I would also like to thank my Steward Karen Kempsell for her expert assistance during a very busy day. I look forward to our next time together. __ _ _ *SEMI-LONGHAIRED KITTENS.*BLUE POINT BIRMAN KITTEN FEMALE[1ST & BOB. Withheld.]2. FARRINGTON'S AVILALEYCHEN CHICI. 13c2. F. 22.6.09.A balanced young Blue Point kitten of 5 months showing good Birman type. Good underlying boned structure to head, with a gently rounded head top; medium ears with good space between; gently rounded cheeks tapering to a strong muzzle line; firm chin, level bite, slight dip to medium length nose when viewed in profile; almost round expressive bright blue eyes, deepening from the centre. Balanced long body of very good weight and substance; medium length to her thickset legs, with short, strong, paws; a balanced bushy tail. Body colour a cool toned bluish white; ruff developing; blue-grey of a delicate shade to points on ears; developing mask spreading from nose across her cheeks; a slate-grey nose leather. Unfortunately she has a distinct white spot on her chin which was my reason for withholding 1st and BOB. Pale blue shade on her legs; left glove white with some slight scalloping; colour dips on her inner left toe; right glove white; no white beyond stopper pads; white socks; right gauntlet rounded to below hock. Left gauntlet is narrow in shape ending in a point below the hock. What a pity she had a white spot on her chin. She has a very friendly temperament and was shown in good condition. RED CREAM OR TORTIE POINT KITTEN:1. BAILEY'S NICADAEMUS DANSE DEFEU. 13c5.M. 23.6.09.A 5 month old Red Point lad. Although showing good Birman type he is going through a further development stage with his head being somewhat out of balance to his body. Good underlying bone structure to head; nicely rounded head top; medium sized ears with good space between; round cheeks, lacking fullness at the moment, but tapering to a strong muzzle line; his chin needs more development; level bite; medium size nose with slight dip in profile; almost round eyes of a good blue shade, deepening from the centre. A long body going through a growing stage. Although he has good weight his body lacks a little substance. Medium length thickset legs, with strong short paws; his bushy tail is slightly out of balance to his body size. Long silky coat with developing ruff; coat colour a clear cream; points of a vibrant red-orange to his ears; mask developing; red spreading from nose but needing to spread further to his cheeks where it is much paler in shade; slight tabby markings visible on his face; a vibrant red to his bushy tail; red developing more density on his legs; gloves symmetrical and even; no white beyond stopper pads; white socks; gauntlets becoming more distinctive and rounded to below the hock. As I have judged this kitten previously it was interesting to note his further development. He has an alert and friendly nature and was shown in good condition. _ RED CREAM OR TORTIE FEMALE1.BOB. BAILEY'S NICADAEMUS TRANQUILITYWISH. 13c6. F. 20.7.09.A most striking Seal Tortie kitten of just over 4 months showing good Birman type. Balanced long body of good substance; medium length thickset legs, strong short paws; balanced bushy tail. Long silky coat, still a little baby soft, of a fawn shade; ruff forming with slight curls on abdomen; points are a good mixture of seal brown well intermingled with light and dark red particularly evident on her ears and her developing facial mask; colour spreading gently across her cheeks; she has a seal brown nose leather; all colours are clearly visible on her legs; bushy tail displays both light and dark red with a dusting of seal especially evident at the top of her tail; her whiskers are slightly brindled with colour near the whisker pads; even white gloves with no white beyond stopper pads; socks even; gauntlets rounded to just below the hock.
