NORMA FARNSWORTH MANCHESTER & DISTRICT CAT CLUB MAY 1st. 2010

A most enjoyable show with a relaxed atmosphere and some lovely exhibits to judge. My day was made easier by my steward, Joan Smith who handled the cats with confidence and sympathy. Congratulations to the Show Manager and her assistants who answered any and every query with a smile .

AC CHAMPION SIAMESE/BALINESE ADULT FEMALE:

GR.CH.BOB.PALMER’S CH.STYPERSON TOP DRAWER(32/1) 01.07.08

Very stylish queen of elegant type with a good length head with straight lines to muzzle and large ears which she tends to hold a fraction low. Lovely straight profile, level bite and firm chin. Excellent oriental eye shape and set with deep blue colour and imperious expression. Graceful neckline and long well muscled body of elegant type, slender legs and long well ringed tail. All tabby markings well defined and a short, smooth coat of excellent texture. A pleasure to handle.

BLUE POINT SIAMESE ADULT FEMALE:

1.CH.BOB.WEBSTER’S NANPEMA TANZANITE-IN-BLUE 13.2.09

Elegant queen with straight balanced head and large, well placed ears. Straight profile, scissored bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with clear blue colour and superior expression. Well defined neckline and long svelte body of excellent type and muscle tone with dainty legs and whip tail. Good blue points colour with some toning shading on a coat of excellent length and texture.

2.GILLEN’S OWAISSA SPIRITOFTHEMIST 14.5.09

Another stylish blue point who ran the winner close. Straight head with balancing width between large, well placed ears. Almost straight profile, level bite and good chin. Slightly full eyes of oriental shape and set with clear blue colour. Stylish type overall with elegant neckline and long well muscled body with slim legs and whip tail. Good blue points, unmatching at present and a short close lying coat of excellent texture.

CINNAMON POINT ADULT FEMALE:

1.CC.BOB. HELM’S TILDEN TINTOFCIN 30.1.09

Well presented exhibit in excellent show condition. Straight wedge with large ears which could be slightly more widespread for perfection. Straight profile, level bite and firm chin. Slightly straight set eyes of oriental shape and clear bright blue colour. Well defined neckline and long firm body of good type with slim legs and long whip tail. Lovely cinnamon points colour and a clear ivory coat which was short, smooth and close lying.

TORTIE POINT SIAMESE

BOB ONLY: BROCK’S IMP.GR.CH. KARAMUSHI TUTI FRUITY(32b1) 4.8.07

An impressive female of outstanding growth and maturity. Strong, straight head with excellent balancing width between large ears. Straight profile, level bite and strong chin. Oriental eye shape and set with bright blue colour and imperious expression. Long heavy body of excellent growth and muscle tone, fine legs and long whip tail. All points well mingled with shades of red and a shaded coat of excellent length and texture.

APRICOT POINT ADULT MALE:

1.CH.BOB. BROWNRIGG’S CHAPELROSE HOLY MOSES 25.6.09

Very stylish young male of excellent type. Long head with slight pinch to the muzzle and excellent width between large flared ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set, colour needs to be deeper for perfection. Proud head carriage and an ultra long body of excellent muscle tone with slender legs and long whip tail. Good apricot points colour with slight shading on a close lying smooth coat of excellent texture. Outstanding growth and condition.

APRICOT ADULT FEMALE;

1.CH.DAVIES’ BETHANJO WALKINGONSUNSHINE 12.5.08

Elegant female of excellent type with straight, medium length balanced wedge and good width between large ears. Straight profile, slightly raised between the eyes, untidy bite due to loss of some teeth and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with clear blue colour which could be deeper for perfection. Well defined neckline and long body of good weight and type with slender legs and extra long whip tail. Good apricot points colour and minimal shading on the spine of a slightly long coat of excellent texture.

BLUE POINT SIAMESE KITTEN FEMALE:

1.BOB.SIMPSON’S KYONI SNOWQUEEN 24.12.09

Stylish kitten with straight wedge head and good width between large, well placed ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Slightly full eyes with colour which needs to be deeper. Well grown with a firm body of good type, slender legs and whip tail. Good blue points colour and some toning shading on a white coat of excellent length and texture.

2.COUSIN’S NIZMAR AUTUM WISH 14.10.09

Very similar kitten to the winner with very little to choose between them and I see from the catalogue that they share the same sire. Straight head with good width between large ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Slightly full eyes of clear blue needing more depth of colour. Good growth overall with long body, slim legs and good whip tail. Darker points colour than the winner which was the deciding factor and some shading on a white coat which was short and close lying.

TORTIE POINT SIAMESE KITTEN:

1.PLEZETOBE PRINCESSPENELOPE (32b) 25.10.09

Lovely kitten hampered, at the moment by a rather untidy, undershot bite which was my reason for withholding BOB. Well grown and of excellent type. Straight wedge, good top of head and large, well placed ears. Straight profile and good chin. Oriental eye shape, set and deep blue colour. Delicate neckline and long muscular body with slim legs and long whip tail. All points well mingled and a clear coat of excellent texture, slightly long on the spine.

BLUE POINT NEUTER MALE:

1.PC.BOB. WHITING’S THOWRA ANGELO 7.1.09

Large, strong male of very good overall type. Good length head with ears which, ideally, could be larger for perfect balance. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with deep blue colour. Good head carriage and long muscular body of stylish type with slim legs and whip tail which needs to be a fraction longer to balance the body length. Dark blue points colour with extensive shading on a short, smooth, close lying coat.

CARAMEL POINT SIAMESE NEUTER MALE:

1.PC.BOB. GREEN’S PR.BELROO PEPPIEMINT 15.3.07

Lilac based caramel of good overall type. Good top of head and large, well placed ears. Straight profile, teeth gone but bite appears to be level and good chin. Rather small eyes of oriental shape and set with deep blue colour. Stylish body of good length and muscle tone with slim legs and long whip tail. Good caramel points colour and a clear coat of excellent length and texture.
