THE NORSK SKOGKATT SOCIETY SHOW – 1.10.11
Mrs Sally Tokens
Thank you to the committee for asking me to judge at their show. I had a super time and there were some magnificent Norwegian’s present, so good to see such a good entry.
IMPERIAL GRAND CHAMPION ADULT MALE;
IMP GR CC; Handy GR CH SONNY BLUE TANIS orange eyed white. Just over two years old. Super temperament and a pleasure to handle. Well built lad with a Norwegian stance. Tail reaching to the neck and is quite bushy. Lovely triangular head shape with all sides equilateral. Medium size ears with small tufts and fitting well into the line of the head. Oval shaped eyes which are light orange in colour. Long nose with a straight profile. Level bite. Chin fairly strong. Excellent head balance. Coat showing a small amount of woolly undercoat and coarse texture to the top coat on the back and near to the tail. Clean and white and beautifully prepared.
RES IMP GR CC; Handy GR CH NORMYSTIC LORD BURR brown tabby. Not yet two and a half years old. Large boned lad standing taller on the back legs with a sleek body and in need of a little more weight. Tail reaching to the neck and is rather sparse today. Nice triangular head shape with good size ears and tiny tufts but he does tend to splay his ears to the sides rather than show them off fully. Eyes large and well opened and green in colour. Long nose with a straight profile. Level bite. Chin fairly strong. Super head balance. Coat a touch short today with a minimum amount of undercoat. Coarse along the spine. Small shirt front.
IMPERIAL GRAND CHAMPION ADULT FEMALE;
IMP GR CC; Mansell GR CH FORESTMIST SANARI blue silver tabby and white just over two years old. Large and well built girl standing taller on the back legs. Tail reaching to the neck and is very bushy. Excellent triangular head shape being equilateral. Ears set high and wide and the base with tiny tufts and fitting well into the line of the head. Large well opened eyes of a green colour. Long straight profile. Level bite. Chin falls away slightly. Excellent head balance. Super undercoat which is quite woolly and a coarse texture can be felt to the top coat. Shirt front and very nice knickerbockers. White to the paws, chest and tummy.
RES IMP GR CC; Candler GR CH FAIRYBELLES DAISY CHAIN blue tortie tabby. Just over two years old and another very nice girl with a super length of the body and Norwegian stance. Tail reaching to the neck and rather bushy. Super triangular head shape with medium size ears which are bearing tiny tufts but she tends not to hold them up and show them off. Large well opened eyes of an oval shape and green colour. Straight profile with a medium length nose. Level bite. Chin just falls away slightly. Very good head balance. Coat showing a semi longhair length with a small amount of undercoat and some coarseness can be felt in areas. Small shirt front and very good knickerbockers. Another very nice female.
AC BREEDERS ADULT;
1 Mansell GR CH FORESTMIST SANARI blue silver tabby and white.
2 Hughes NORMAGIKATT KVASIR THEA blue lad nearly three and a half years old. Coarse feel to the coat with the undercoat yet to have developed fully. Well shaped green eyes.
3 Hermon CLEASANTA SALI MALI tortie silver tabby and white.
AC NON BREEDERS KITTEN (6-9MTH);
