Many thanks to Carol & the team for the invite to judge and the wonderful hospitality for lunch – a real treat. My steward for the day was Amanda Lachlan. This was our first time working together & I hope there’ll be many more. We had a lovely day with some super cats. Many thanks for your company & expertise, Amanda & for my marked catalogue. I look forward to the next time.

Tabby Norwegian Forest Neuter Male;

1 PC BOB MACLEOD’S MIYODA CHULILLO (67 31t, 14/11/07)).

Large Brown Tabby & White lad of good type. Good triangular head shape with ears of good size set well. Pale green eyes that were well opened & of good shape & size. Almost straight profile. Level bite & good chin. Coat well prepared & of good length. Good double coat throughout. Cool ground colour & slightly diffused tabby markings to his body. Clear tabby markings to his head, legs & tail. Very well grown lad with good body shape. Long bushy tail to balance. Rather unhappy today.

Tabby Norwegian Forest Neuter Female;

1 PC ROSS’ NORSKWOOD CORDELIA (67 20, 24/5/05).

Sweet Brown Tabby girl of quite good type. Fairly good triangular head shape – just spoilt by slight squareness to muzzle at present. Ears of good size set well. Well opened green eyes of good size & shape. Almost straight profile. Level bite. Fairly good chin. Coat well prepared & of good length. Quite good double coat. Pale ground colour with clear tabby markings to face, but very diffused elsewhere. Body well grown & of good length. Tail, well furnished but rather short.

2 TIPPER’S CH NORSVANA SILVANA STAR (67 18a, 1/7/05).

Sweet Silver Tabby girl of quite good type. Fairly good triangular head shape – the line is spoilt just a little by her ears. These are of good size, but are set rather too close together. Green eyes, fairly well opened, but just a little small & slightly deep-set. Profile almost straight – nose just showing a smidge of a bump. Level bite. Chin could be a touch firmer. Coat well prepared & of good length. Good double coat. Mid silver ground colour & clear tabby markings throughout. Well grown girl with good body shape. Long bushy tail to balance.

1 HANDY’S CH NORMYSTIC LORD BURR.

Lovely Brown Tabby lad of excellent balanced type with good triangular head shape. Ears of good size set well. Pale green eyes of good size 7 shape. Excellent straight profile. Level bite. Excellent chin. Coat of good length, well prepared & showing fairly good double coat. Cool ground colour & clear tabby markings throughout. Excellent body length & very well grown. Long bushy tail to balance. I loved this lad – he has such wonderful show presence.

2 TIPPER’S GR CH TIGANLEA PRINCESS DAYNA.

Super Tortie Tabby & White lass of good type. Good triangular head shape with ears of good size set well. Mid green eyes of good size & shape. Almost straight profile. Level bite & good chin. Coat of good length & well prepared, showing good double coat. Clear white & showing lovely rich tortie shades & tabby markings in patches. Body of good length, just a touch portly! Long bushy tail to balance. Lovely show temperament.

Lovely Silver Tabby & White lad of excellent balanced type. Super triangular head shape with ears of good size set well. Well opened green eyes of good size & shape. Excellent straight profile. Level bite & good chin. Coat expertly prepared & of good length, showing good double coat. Very well grown. Long bushy tail to balance.

Such a shame, there was one of my favourite Norwegian girls in this class but she couldn’t be handled today. We gave it our best shot, but she just wasn’t having it this time.

Attractive Tortie Tabby & White girl of good type. Good triangular head shape with ears of good size set well. Well opened pale green eyes of good size & shape. Almost straight profile. Level bite & good chin. Excellent coat which was well prepared & of good length. Good double coat. Bright Tortie shades & showing good tabby markings, well patched against clear white. Body slightly portly, but of good length. Tail well furnished – could be a touch longer for balance.

2 HARRIES CLEASANTA BEETHOVEN.

Attractive lad of good balanced type. Good triangular head shape & good straight profile. Green eyes which were well opened & of good size & shape. Level bite & good chin. Coat of good length & well prepared. Double coat well developed. Well grown body with good tail.
