NORSK SKOGKATT SOCIETY SHOW – 31.7.10 Mrs Sally Tokens

Thank you Carol for a super day and the lunch which as always was first class. My steward was John Blore and I would like to thank him for his tireless efforts considering everything wanted to bite him today.

IMPERIAL AC NFC GRAND CHAMPION FEMALE;

IMP GR CC; Tipper GR CH TIGANLEA PRINCESS DAYNA

tortie tabby and white girl of nearly six years old. Very good triangular head shape with all sides equal. Straight profile of a good length. Large ears with a nice width at the base, small tufts. Obliquely shaped eyes of an oval shape and green colour. Fairly strong chin and a level bite. Super woolly undercoat although she is moulting quite badly today. Coarse texture to the top coat and a few guard hairs. A strong well built female with a super length to the body. Tail is fairly long and quite bushy reaching to the shoulder blades.

1 PC Harper VERDICATZ TREBOR

green eyed white of sixteen months old. Excellent strong bone and very good weight at this age. Already quite muscular. Equilateral triangle to the head shape. Nice firm chin. Very minimal dip to the profile which is quite long. Well opened eyes which are quite large and slightly oblique in set being of a good green colour. Ears placed quite high and open with a good width at the base. No tufts and fairly well feathered. Level bite. Super coarse to texture to the coat with the coat being a little sparse at the base of the tail. Some undercoat present but not yet as full as it could be. Clean and white and well prepared. Tail reaches to just beyond the shoulders.

2 Patterson FORESTMIST KADU

blue of thirteen months old. Well grown lad with a nice length to the body. Head almost equilateral in shape. Just showing a minimal dip in profile today and I would like the nose a touch longer for perfection. Eyes with a slightly oblique set and green colour just a little on the small side and oval in shape. Large ears which are set quite high with a good width at the base. Small tufts to the ears and fairly well feathered. Chin just falling away slightly. Large paws on sturdy legs with very good tufts. Some coarseness can be felt to the flanks. Lacking in the woolly undercoat today but well groomed and of a sound blue. Tail reaching to the shoulders and is lightly covered.

SELF NORWEGIAN NEUTER FEMALE;

BOB Coward GR PR NORDLYS GAZELLE

black just over five years old. Big and strongly built for a female. Standing taller on the back legs. Tufted paws. Nice length to the body and very good weight. Triangular head shape with all the sides equal. Straight profile with quite a broad nose. Eyes obliquely set and oval in shape with green colouring. Nice chin. Level bite. Ears of a good size which are set quite high with a lovely width at the base. Small tufts to the ears. Ruff to frame the face. Very good black coat which was sound to the roots and nicely prepared. A small amount of undercoat present today and a coarse texture can be felt. Tail reaching to the neck and is very well covered.

1 Handy FORESTSHADOW FRIKKA

silver tabby and white of only four months old. Very well grown with a straight profile. Well positioned ears. Super silver undercoat and strong tabby markings. Lovely type. Guard hairs to the coat.

2 Sharples FORESTSHADOW FRODE

black smoke and white of our months old. Green eyes and a good profile with no dips. Lovely chin to balance. Coat still coming along with the a nice texture to the top coat and undercoat yet to come through.

3 Hughes NORMAGIKATT RAPHAELA

cream silver tabby and white.

1 Handy NORSKMAGI TAUARIS

silver tabby and white lad of just over two years old. Huge heavy weight with lovely length of body. Excellent coat with some guard hairs and a coarse texture, also showing a good undercoat. Very nicely balanced.

2 Macleod MIYODA CHULILLO

brown tabby and white nearly three years old. Excellent size and weight. Good head shape which is equilateral. Some undercoat present and coarseness can be felt. Expressive green eyes. Lovely tail which balances with the body.

1 Spooner TIGANLEA MISTRESS ESHA

tortie tabby and white fourteen months old. Lovely profile which is nice and straight. Very good coat which is quite full with a woolly undercoat and coarse texture to the top coat. Very good red and black with tabby evident.
