NORTHERN IRELAND CAT CLUB 6 March 2010 Judge: Perri Hutchison

I would like to thank Patricia & Dennis & the Committee for the super invitation to judge in Northern Ireland. This was the first time I had ever been to Ireland, and it was an interesting weekend with great Irish hospitality. Special thanks to Dennis Shortall, for chauffeuring us to and from the Airport. Thanks also to my stewards Hazel Jamieson & Edith Morris, who ably handled the cats, kept an eye on my paperwork, and carried me, crutches, chair and table around the show hall! Thanks a million!

A C Burmese Champion (Gr Ch), Male

GR CC FERGUSON’S CH TEAROHA AUGUSTUS BROWN 27 M (21.7.8)

Handsome young chap with a super gentle nature. Gently rounded top of head. Large ears well set with correct forward tilt. Short wide wedge, blunt muzzle. Expressive eyes are set well apart, good shape and size, chartreuse in colour. Flat brow. Fair nose break. Bump on nose, firm chin, level bite. Muscular chap of good weight. Strong legs and oval paws. Tail of good shape, paintbrush tip, balances. Coat short and close. Excellent sheen – could see your face in his coat he was so well polished! Warm even seal brown. A little nervous but enjoyed a cuddle. In tip top condition. Well presented.

Lovely type mature girl with super expression! Gently rounded top of head. Nice size ears well set with correct forward tilt. Short wide wedge, blunt muzzle. Expressive eyes are set well apart, good shape and size, chartreuse in colour. Flat brow. Excellent nose break. Straight nose, firm chin, level bite. Muscular lass of good weight. Slim legs and spoon shaped paws. Tail of good shape, paintbrush tip, short to balance. Coat short and close lying, excellent texture and shine. Even slate blue with good silvering on her extremities. Sweet lass with fabulous temperament! Well presented. She was my choice for Best of Variety Burmese – congratulations to her owners and her breeders!

Older mature girl of super type. Ran winner close for the grand! Gently rounded top of head. Slightly large ears well set with correct forward tilt (though let down by dirty ears!) Short wide wedge, blunt muzzle. Expressive eyes are set well apart, good shape and size, yellow in colour. Flat brow. Good nose break, nose rolls off at very tip. Firm chin, bite just level. Acne on her chin! Muscular lass of good weight. Slender legs and spoon shaped paws. Tail of good shape, paintbrush tip, short to balance. Coat short and close lying, good texture and shine. Lovely even cream with good powdering on extremities. Clear coated. Sweet natured purring girl. well presented.

Fabulous girl of super type who ran the blue girl close for Best of Variety. Gently rounded top of head. Nice size ears well set with correct forward tilt. Short wide wedge, blunt muzzle. Expressive eyes are set well apart, good shape and size, chartreuse in colour. Flat brow. Excellent nose break, nose rolls off at very tip. Firm chin, level bite. Muscular lass with middle aged spread! But still maintains her balance. Slender legs and spoon shaped paws. Tail of good shape, paintbrush tip, short to balance. Coat short and close lying, excellent sheen. Warm even seal brown. Super sweet natured purring temperament. Well presented.

Slender legs and spoon shaped paws. Tail of good shape, paintbrush tip, short to balance. Coat is short and close lying. Few white hairs over the back of her neck. Coat is a little patchy over her lower sides. Dark but even chocolate. Sweet girl with good expression. Well presented.

Expressive eyes are set well apart, good shape and size, chartreuse in colour. Rounded brow. Good nose break. Straight nose. Firm chin, level bite. Acne on chin! Muscular chap of good weight. Strong legs and oval paws. Tail of good shape, paintbrush tip, just balances. Coat is short and close lying, good texture and shine. Nice even dove grey with good pinky hue. Sweet gentleman. Well presented.

Flat brow. Fair nose break. Straight nose, firm chin, level bite. (Acne on chin!) Muscular lass of good weight. Slender legs and oval paws. Tail of good shape, paintbrush tip, balances. Coat short and close, good texture and shine. Nice even dove grey with good pinky hue. Has a lot to say for herself! Well presented.

Flat brow. Fair nose break. Straight nose. Firm chin, level bite. Muscular lass of good weight. Slender legs and spoon shaped paws. Tail of good shape, paintbrush tip, short to balance. Her coat is long but lies well, good texture and shine. Slightly blue toned lilac. Grumpy girl with a lot to say for herself! Well presented.

What a dollop! Super friendly lad. Gently rounded top of head. Nice size ears well set with correct forward tilt. Short wide wedge, blunt muzzle. Eyes are set well apart, expressive, good shape and size, yellow in colour. Rounded brow. Good nose break. Straight nose, firm chin, level bite. Muscular lad of good weight. Strong legs and oval paws. Tail of good shape, paintbrush tip, balances. Coat slightly long and open (but I think that was due to his excitement and kissing!), good texture and shine. Pale cream with excellent powdering over his head and extremities. Super clear coat. Fabulous temperament, kissing, cuddling and hugging my chin! Could have popped him in my pocket and taken him home! Super chap! Well presented.

Coat a little long but lies well, good texture and shine. Pale but even chocolate, a little contrasting with ears and mask at present. Sweet poppet. Well presented.

2 PATIENCE’S GIRONA WOODFAIRY 27b F (10.10.9)

Sweet little purrer! Gently rounded top of head. Large ears held a fraction high. Short wide wedge, blunt muzzle, muzzle pinch present. Eyes are set well apart, good shape and size, expressive, yellow in colour. Rounded brow. Fair nose break. Firm chin, level bite. Coat long and kittenish but with good texture and shine. Tail is a little whippy, but balances. Coat is pale chocolate, a little cold toned and contrasting with mask and ears. Sweetie. Well presented.

Pale even cream with good powdering on his extremities. Smudges on thighs. Sweet purring lad. Well presented.
