A V Foreign Imperial Grand Premier, Male:Two super boys entered, both worthy of this prestigious certificate.
Imp GPC. FLEMING’S GR PR SHOELINA ZELENSKY. Russian Blue. 9/5/00.Large and very handsome boy, mature and of good type and a real gentleman. Long slender body is lithe, graceful and well balanced, of very good weight and substance feeling firm and muscular to the touch with good strong medium underlying bone-structure; gently rounded chest and elegant slender well shaped limbs ending in compact oval paws in proportion. Head shows short wedge with good breadth to muzzle and prominent whisker pads. Tall pointed ears of good shape and quite large, broad at the base and set vertically on head to give correct alert stance. Clear palish green eyes are almond shaped and set wide apart and at a slight slant to give typical expression. Level brow to above eyes, profile line down to nose has shallow concave curve, chin is level and of good depth, untidy teeth but bite is level. Double coat is fine and short to medium in length, feeling soft, dense and velvety in texture, in superb condition with a glistening silvery sheen. Clear medium blue grey, even in tone and clear of marks except for hint of faint ghost rings towards end of tail. Tail tapers evenly to rounded tip and length and just balances. Very friendly boy who showed himself to advantage and was a delight to judge
Res Imp GPC. KELSALL’S GR PR PONTABY PASTICCIO. Sorrel Abyssinian. 13/8/05.Mature and very handsome boy of good overall type. Slender lithe body is firm and muscular, of very good weight and substance and looking well balanced and elegant; straight back, gently rounded chest and slender well shaped limbs ending in neat oval paws in proportion. Head forms moderate wedge with gently rounded contours and good width to cheeks, slight indentation below tapers to slightly rounded muzzle of good breadth. Well spaced medium large ears are broad at the base and well cupped, of good shape and held pricked. Large and lustrous hazel green eyes are shaped like rounded almonds and set wide apart and at a slight slant to give typical “wild” expression. Very gentle curve to brow, slight break, hint of a tiny bump on nose, chin is almost level and of fairly good depth. Coat is short to medium in length, fine, dense and silky smooth and lies very close to the body, in beautiful condition and displaying a glossy shine. Well defined pattern of rich dark chocolate ticking lies over bright warm copper toned apricot base, two bands of ticking clearly visible in hall light, slight spine line, hint of very faint well broken necklace, good colour up hocks and chocolate tip to tail; “M” and scarab on forehead, mascara effect to eyes surrounded by light spectacles, defined pencilling on cheeks. Tail tapers evenly to rounded tip and length just about balances. A very talkative boy out on the table, relaxed and good natured in his pen. .

1. Imp GPC withheld. ECCLES’S GR PR NEWKINGDOM QETESH. Silver Egyptian Mau. 5/7/03.Attractive mature girl of good overall type. Long slender well filled body is firm, muscular and of very good weight with good medium foreign boning, gently rounded chest and elegant slender well shaped legs ending in neat rounded paws in proportion. Head shows medium wedge with rounded contours, quite good breadth to gently rounded muzzle and uniform width to nose. Medium ears are broad at the base and of good shape, spaced well apart and cupped forward. Large lustrous eye are shaped like rounded almonds and set wide apart under level brows to give typical “worried” expression; colour is gooseberry green around pupil but with yellow cast to rest of iris. Very slight curve to brow, slight dip in profile line with tiny hard bump on nose, chin is level and needs a touch more depth. Coat is of medium length, fine, dense and quite resilient with silky texture, in super condition with a gleaming shine. Pattern of well spaced black spots is defined and contrasts well against clear silver ground, spine line is a little solid on lower back, couple of linked spots near shoulders and three linked spots on one side, double necklace with one well broken and one just broken, bars and spots on legs and broken rings on tail. “M” and complex scarab on forehead, mascara effect to eyes surrounded by light spectacles, faint pencilling on face. Tail tapers to finer rounded end and almost balances. Relaxed, calm girl and very sweet natured. After some consideration I felt she had too many minor faults for this prestigious award.

GPC. AKEHURST GR PR CHIARO LATTICELLO. 18/3/07.Large handsome lad of good overall type, who obviously likes his dinner very much. Body is very well filled, really quite plump and feels solid, heavy and very substantial, well muscled with level back, gently rounded chest and slender well shaped legs ending in compact oval paws in proportion. Head shows short wide wedge with slightly rounded top between well spaced medium ears, broad at the base and of good shape. Large lustrous rich chartreuse yellow eyes are of very good shape and set wide apart to give typical expression. Very gentle curve, very good break, straight nose and level chin of quite good depth. Medium length coat is fine and very close-lying with a good satiny texture, in superb condition and displaying a gleaming sheen. Rich even medium cream in colour, cool in tone with powdering evident on head and ears; faint well broken necklace, smudged marks on knees and elbows. Tail tapers evenly to “paintbrush” tip and is short to balance plump body. Slightly nervous out on the table, shy but much more relaxed in his pen and very good natured. I did debate whether I should award the Grand Certificate as he is rather plump and looks just a little unbalanced, however he has good type, colour and coat texture, so he won me over in the end.

GPC. MARRIOTT-POWER & MARRIOTT’S GR PR & CH RUMBA FUTURISTIC. 2/12/93.Lovely elderly lady of good overall type and in super condition for almost fifteen years old. Slender balanced body is of good weight and substance, feeling firm and well muscled with straight back, correctly rounded chest and slim elegant shapely legs ending in neat oval feet in proportion. Head forms short wide wedge, blunt in the muzzle with very slightly rounded top between well spaced medium ears, broad at the base and of good shape. Large lustrous pale chartreuse eyes are of very good shape and set wide apart to give typical expression. Brow is a touch flat, very good break, short straight nose, chin is firm and of quite good depth; bite is untidy with incisors missing, but acceptable especially considering her age. Close lying coat is fine and of medium length, good satiny texture and in splendid condition with a gleaming sheen. Delicate rich medium cream is cool in tone and even with lovely powdered effect on head, ears, neck and shoulders. Tail is of good shape, tapering to finer “paintbrush” tip; length is a fraction short to balance. Sleepy lady, calm, relaxed and very good natured.

1. BATESON’S NEWKINGDOM ULYSSES. Silver. 22/4/08.Handsome baby boy, well grown for twenty weeks and of very pleasing type. Long slender elegant body is of very good size and weight, feeling firm and well muscled with gently rounded chest and slender elegant well shaped legs ending in neat rounded paws in proportion. Head shows medium wedge, just a touch fine across the gently rounded muzzle at present, uniform width to nose. Well spaced medium ears are broad at the base and of good shape. Large lustrous eyes are shaped like rounded almonds and set wide apart under straight brows to give typical “worried” expression; colour is gooseberry green around pupils with amber cast to outer iris. Very slight curve to brow, slight dip in profile line to nose, chin is level and needs a little more depth. Fine medium length coat lies close and has good silky texture, quite resilient considering his age, in super condition with a glossy shine. Pattern of dark charcoal spots is well distributed and distinct, contrasting well against clear silver ground; spine line is a little solid as yet, couple of linked spots near shoulders which will hopefully separate as he grows, double necklace is broken, bars and spots on legs, broken rings along tail. “M” and complex scarab on forehead, lines over head beak into rows of small spots, attractive mascara effect to eyes surrounded by light spectacles, faint pencilling on cheeks. Tail is of good shape and just balances. Very noisy and demanding youngster, lively, alert and very friendly.

Slender long body is well filled and elegant, feeling firm and well muscled with gently rounded chest and elegant slender well shaped legs ending in neat rounded paws in proportion. Head shows medium wedge with gently rounded contours and good breadth to muzzle, uniform width to nose. Well spaced medium size ears are broad at the base and of good shape. Large lustrous eyes are shaped like rounded almonds and set wide apart and straight under level brows; colour is gooseberry green around the pupil with yellow cast to outer iris. Very slight curve to brow, slight dip in profile line to nose which shows just the hint of a bump; chin is level and of fairly good depth. Coat is fine and of medium length, lying very close lying to the body with a good silky texture, quite dense and good resilience for her age. Very distinct pattern of small black spots contrast sharply against a sparkling silver ground, spine line is a little solid at present on lower back, necklace is just broken, broken bracelets and spots on legs and broken rings on tail. “M” and complex scarab on forehead, lines over head, attractive mascara effect to eyes surrounded by light spectacles, defined pencilling on cheeks. Tail tapers evenly to finer rounded tip, length just balances. Alert, lively and very friendly.

BOB to PALLISTER’S CH PENWYNKATZ CRÈME DELIGHT. 15/10/06.Handsome young man of very pleasing type, who is well jowled and distinctly masculine in appearance. Long slender randy body is a touch lean in the flanks, feeling lithe and muscular and of very good weight with straight back, gently rounded chest and slender elegant shapely legs ending in compact oval paws in proportion. Head shows short wide wedge with slightly rounded top between well spaced medium large ears, broad at the base and of good shape. Large lustrous yellow chartreuse eyes are of very good shape and set wide apart to give typical expression. Very gentle curve to brow, strong break, straight nose and level chin of fairly good depth. Fine close-lying coat is of medium length with good satiny texture for a working boy, in super condition with a gleaming shine. Even rich medium cream, coolish in tone with some powdering on head and ears; fairly faint well broken necklace. Tail is of good shape, tapering to finer tip, length is just short to balance. Good natured boy.

1, PHILLIPS’S SITHEE BUTTERCUP JOE. Russian Blue. 12/4/07.Very handsome young lad who is developing well, looking a touch adolescent still at present by of very pleasing type. Slender long graceful body is slightly lean and a little rangy, but of very good size and weight, firm and well muscled with good foreign boning; gently rounded chest and well shaped elegant legs ending in neat oval paws in proportion. Head shows short wedge with good breadth to muzzle and nicely prominent whisker-pads. Medium large ears are broad and the base with pointed tips and held high and tall on head. Expressive eyes are of very good size and almond shape, set wide and a slight slant, colour is pale green with a slight yellowish cast just visible. Flat plane to brow, forming correct angle with profile line to nose, which shows a slight dip; level chin is of reasonably good depth. Coat is of medium length, fine and quite dense and feels plush with velvety texture, in superb condition with a gleaming sheen; even medium to dark blue grey with silvery sheen evident in places, ghost rings visible on tail. Tail tapers evenly to rounded tip and is a good length to balance. Alert and very friendly boy, who purred and kneaded throughout and was very easy to handle.
2. BUCKLEY’S LLANDAR AARON. Brown Spotted Bengal.Mature handsome lad but with considerable attitude. Long slender body is muscular and heavy, feeling firm and of very good substance with good underlying boning; broad gently rounded chest and slender shapely legs ending in compact round paws in proportion. Head is slightly small in relation to body and forms a short broad wedge with good breadth to gently rounded muzzle and broad nose with very slightly puffed leather; jowls beginning to develop. Medium large ears are broad and the base and of good shape and spaced well apart. Expressive large rounded almond shaped eyes are hazel yellow in colour and set wide apart and at a slight slant. Gentle curve to brow, profile line is a little too straight showing only slight dip, chin is level and of reasonably good depth. Medium length coat is fine, dense and close lying with a smooth silky texture, in very good condition and displaying a glossy shine. Pattern of warm lighter brown spots each surrounded by rich warm seal brown rim is evenly distributed and contrast well against warm rich golden toned ground, a few linked spots evident on sides behind shoulders; bars and spots on legs, double necklace is broken, rings along tail. “M” and complex scarab on forehead, mascara effect to eyes surrounded by lighter spectacles, well defined pencilling on cheeks and chin strap. Tail tapers slightly to rounded tip and is of medium length to balance. Quite difficult to handle today, he hissed and growled and generally showed off.

Long graceful slender body is balanced and of very good weight, feeling firm and muscular with good foreign boning, gently rounded chest and elegant slender well shaped legs ending in neat rounded paws in proportion. Head forms medium wedge with slightly rounded contours, good breadth to gently rounded muzzle and uniform width to nose. Well spaced medium size ears are broad at the base and of good shape, cupped forward and alert. Large lustrous rounded almond shaped eyes are set wide apart under straight brows to give typical “worried” expression; colour is gooseberry green with slight yellow cast. Gently rounded brow, slight dip in profile line to nose, chin is level and of fairly good depth. Coat is of medium length, fine, close lying and feeling quite dense and resilient with smooth silky texture; shown in beautiful condition with a glossy shine. Well defined pattern of dark charcoal grey spots is evenly distributed and contrasts well against clear sparkling silver ground, spine line is quite well broken, broken necklace, bars and spots on legs and broken rings on tail. “M” and complex scarab of forehead, lines over head break into rows on tiny spots, attractive mascara effect to eyes, cheeks are barred. Tail tapes evenly to rounded tip and almost balances. Calm in her pen, but much less content out on the table, not at all keen to see other cats around her, she hissed and grumbled.
2. BUCK’S CHEREK JINGS CRIVVENS. Cream Smoke Devon Rex. 13/12/07.Attractive girl, just adult and developing well, but extremely nervous and not showing herself to best advantage. Long slender body is of medium size and very good weight, feeling firm and well muscled with level back, gently rounded chest and elegant slender well shaped legs ending in neat oval paws in proportion. Head forms short broad wedge with good width to high cheek-bones and breadth to gently rounded muzzle showing defined whisker break and short curled whiskers. Large wide based ears are of good shape and spaced well apart and set quite low, slight muffs and tiny tufts at tips. Expressive rounded almond shape eyes are set wide apart and at a slight slant. Flat skull curves forward at brow, stop is just about acceptable, but I would like more definition, chin recedes and needs more depth. Well covered in fine dense coat, silky in texture with gentle curl to hairs giving shallow regular waves on sides and flanks, very slight waves along back, rippled down chest and slight ripples down legs, plush across shoulders and on head, well covered tummy, loose waves along tail. Tail is a little thick overall, tapering slightly to rounded tip, length just balances. Very shy and rather tense, but a sweet natured girl.

Slender lithe body is firm and well muscled with straight back, gently rounded chest and elegant slender shapely legs ending in neat oval feet in proportion. Head shows moderate wedge, good width to cheeks with slight indentation below tapering to muzzle which is a little fine. Medium large broad based ears are of good shape, deep cupped and spaced well apart to follow the line of the wedge. Almond shaped eyes are just large enough for his face and set wide apart, I would like them just a little larger and more expressive, colour is rich amber yellow. Very gentle curve to brow, no break just a slight dip, chin is level and of reasonably good depth. Close lying coat is fine and of medium length, very good silky smooth texture for age and in super condition with a gleaming shine. Well defined pattern of black ticking is evenly distributed over a rich warm apricot base, two bands of ticking clearly evident; spine line, faint well broken necklace, “M” and scarab on forehead, mascara effect to eyes surrounded by lighter spectacles, defined pencilling on cheeks, “thumb-print” marks on backs of ears. Tail tapers evenly to finer tip and length just balances. Confident and very friendly young man.

Slender long body feels firm and well muscled with good foreign boning, level back, gently rounded chest and slender well shaped legs ending in compact round paws in proportion. Head forms broad medium wedge with good width to cheeks and breadth to gently rounded muzzle, moderately broad nose and very slightly puffed pads. Well spaced medium size broad based ears of good shape. Large lustrous slightly greenish yellow eyes are shaped like rounded almonds and set wide apart and at a slight slant. Very gentle curve to brow, very shallow concave curve to profile line, chin recedes a little and is of reasonably good depth. Medium length coat is fine, close lying and silky smooth in texture, lacks density and resilience at present, but this should develop as she matures, in beautiful condition with a glossy shine. Pattern of arrow shaped spots in rich warm medium brown well defined, just a little paler on the body than markings on legs and tail, spots contrast well against warm bright golden toned ground which is even richer and deeper in tone on head, shoulders and under-parts, necklace is just broken, broken bracelets and spots on legs and rings on tail. “M” and scarab on forehead, attractive mascara effect to eyes surrounded by light spectacles, well defined pencilling on cheeks and bold chin strap. Tail is of good shape tapers slightly to rounded tip and is of medium length to balance. Talkative a very sweet natured.

Slender well filled body is well balanced and of very good weight and substance, feeling firm and well muscled with straight back, gently rounded chest and well shaped legs ending in neat oval paws in proportion. Head shows short wide wedge, quite blunt in the muzzle with slightly rounded top between well spaced medium size ears, broad at the base and of good shape. Lustrous large palish yellow chartreuse eyes are of very good shape and set wide to give typical Burmese expression. Very slight curve to brow, very good break, short nose and leather falls away at very tip, chin is level and of fairly good depth. Fine coat is of medium length and very close lying with satin smooth texture, in superb condition with a glossy shine. Warm medium dove grey is mixed with rich slightly warm toned medium cream, very faint well broken necklace and showing very faint smudged mark on each knee. Tail tapers evenly to “paintbrush” tip and almost balances. Calm and very good natured.
2. GILES’S CH RAWEKE SERENDIPITY. 12/3/07.Attractive mature girl of good overall type. Well filled slender body is nicely balanced and of very good weight and substance, feeling firm and well muscled with level back, gently rounded chest and slender well shaped legs ending in neat oval paws in proportion. Head shows short wide wedge with slightly rounded top and well spaced medium broad based ears are of good shape. Large lustrous yellow chartreuse eyes are of very good shape and set wide apart to give typical Burmese expression. In profile is a little flat on the brow, very good break, short straight nose and level chin of fairly good depth; bite is untidy and appeared marginally undershot, but she was tense and difficult to assess because of this. Coat is of medium length, fine and close-lying with silky smooth texture, in super condition with a glistening shine. Warm even medium dove grey, showing very slight pinky cast in good hall light, good frosted effect to head and ears. Tail tapers evenly to finer rounded tip and is just short to balance. Shy girl, a little nervous and wriggly out on the table, more relaxed in her pen and very sweet natured.

1. ANDREWS’S ISAJEN PUCCINI. 13/12/07. Handsome young man, just adult and still very adolescent in appearance with a slightly “baby” face, needing time to mature and reach his potential. Long slender body is of very good weight, firm and well muscled with straight back, gently rounded chest and slender well shaped legs ending in compact oval paws in proportion. Short wide wedge-shaped head has slightly rounded top and well spaced medium large broad based ears of good shape. Large lustrous yellow chartreuse eyes are of very good shape and set wide apart to give typical expression. Very gentle curve to brow, a little heavily boned over the eyes, very good break, nose leather falls away at tip, chin is level and of reasonably good depth. Medium length coat, fine but a little long on the back, lies close and with good satiny texture, in very good condition with a healthy shine. Warm pale to medium milk chocolate, face and ears are noticeably darker in tone at present; even tone on body. Tail is slightly thick overall, tapering slightly to rounded tip, length is a little short to balance. Very happy, playful boy and full of purrs.

Slender balanced body is of medium size and very good weight and substance, firm and well muscled to the touch with straight back, correctly rounded chest and slender well shaped limbs ending in neat spoon-shaped feet in proportion. Head forms short wide wedge, blunt in the muzzle with very slightly rounded top between well spaced neat medium size ears of good shape. Lustrous large pale chartreuse eyes are of very good shape and set wide apart to give typical Burmese expression. Very slight curve to brow, a little heavily boned over the eyes, very good break, short nose with leather falling away at very tip, chin is firm and of quite good depth. Bite is rather untidy with teeth missing. Close lying coat is of medium length, fine and satiny in texture and in great condition with a glossy shine. Warm rich seal brown predominates with rich bright medium tangerine intermingled. Tail tapers evenly to “paintbrush” tip and is a fraction short to balance. Alert, affectionate and very sweet natured.
