PROGRESSIVE RAGDOLL BREED CAT CLUB SHOW – 17.7.10 Mrs Sally Tokens

I would like to thank Anne, Brian and the team for inviting me back to their breed show. I had an exceptionally busy day with a very large book. There were some quality exhibits in attendance. I also thank my steward Celia De Martino who I was really grateful for her company and help on such a busy day. Many thanks for the gift it was much appreciated. IMPERIAL

CLASS AC OR PATTERN RAGDOLL GRAND CHAMPION FEMALE;

IMP GR CC Withheld 1 ParkesGR CH KYETSI KNICKABOKA GLORI

cream colourpoint of nearly six years old. I was sorry to have to withhold the Imperial on this girl but unfortunately today she was not looking that little bit special to have the certificate awarded. She is a very nice girl with lovely bone and weight. Ears well set and slightly tilt forward. Cheeks full and muzzle well formed. Lovely blue colouring to the eyes. Very gentle dip in profile and a level bite. Coat rather sparse today and close lying to the body, clear and nicely prepared. Tail reaching the shoulders and lightly covered. Medium cream to the points. I would have been happy to give her a grand, just not the Imperial today.

GR CC; Hamilton GR CH LADYDOLL STUDMUFFIN

blue bi colour lad of just over two years old. Excellent strong head with a flat plane and very full cheeks down to a rounded muzzle. Eyes with a slightly oblique shape and good blue colour. Gentle dip in profile. Level bite. Coat showing a small amount of undercoat and soft texture. Pale body coat. White to the legs and a symmetrically marked inverted v in white to the face. Some white to the nape of the neck. Huge feet with very good tufts. Lightly covered tail which balances with the body. Wonderful temperament.

RES GR CC; Haworth IGR CH DIZIPAWS BRUCE

seal colourpoint lad of nearly four years old. Another super boy and it took me a while to decide upon the winner between these two. Super bone structure and very good substance. Just standing a wee bit tall on his legs today. Medium size ears which are well set and slightly tilt forward. Cheeks of a good width. Flat plane to the top of the head. Eyes showing a medium blue colour and nicely shaped. Gentle dip in profile. Level bite. Coat quite full with a small amount of shading to the body coat being very soft in texture and well prepared. Lovely seal brown to the points which were all equally matched in the depth of colour. Tail in proportion to the body length and nicely covered.

AC BI COLOUR RAGDOLL KITTEN FEMALE;

1 & BOB Dodd EMERISLE PRADA

blue bi colour lass of four months old. Very good temperament and a pleasing youngster. Super size and weight for her age. Ears of a medium size and slightly tilt forward. Flat plane to the top of the head. Cheeks quite full and muzzle filling out nicely. Gentle dip in profile. Level bite. Eyes with a slightly oblique shape and good blue colouring – it was the eye colour that decided the placing. Spot of colour on the back right hock. Symmetrically marked inverted v to the face. Lightly furnished tail. Pale body coat which was silken in texture.

2 Hamilton PHATPAWS DAISY CHAIN

another blue bi colour who just lost out on the eye colour, medium blue on this girl not quite as strong as the winners, but never the less another very nice kitten. Well grown and with a first class temperament. Well set ears of a medium size which slightly tilt forward. Cheeks of a good width and a rounded muzzle. Gentle dip in profile and a level bite. Symmetrically marked inverted v to the face. Pale body coat with some undercoat and soft to touch. Tail lightly furnished and reaching the shoulder blades. White to all the limbs.

3 Kobyiska FAIRYDOLLS ARETHUSA NYMPH

seal bi colour of four months old. Super size and weight for her age. Well positioned ears which slightly tilt forward. Flat plane. Eyes with a medium blue colouring and slightly oblique shape. Cheeks quite full but yet to develop slightly more. Just a tiny bit pinched in the muzzle. Gentle dip to the profile with a medium length nose. Spot of colour to the back leg. Symmetrically marked inverted v to the face. Soft texture to a pale body coat with some undercoat. Tail very lightly furnished and balances with the body. Very good temperament and a pleasure to handle.

4 Prowting EISERBLEW CRYSTAL TIPPS

seal bi colour again coming up to four months old. An adequate bone structure but I really would have preferred to see this lass larger in size. Lacking in substance and her back bone can be felt. I did not feel she was large enough to be out there today. Eye colour a little pale but the eyes were of a good shape. Flat plane to the top of the head. Good cheeks and a nice muzzle forming. Level bite. Gentle dip to the profile. Coat very sparse and pale in colour. Some seal can be seen coming through on the mask, with the points colours yet to reach there full depth of colouring. Symmetrically marked inverted v to the face. White to the limbs. Tail very lightly covered and just about reaches the shoulders.

AC BI COLOUR RAGDOLL KITTEN MALE;

1 withheld 2 Penfold & Fleckney PHATPAWS OUT OF THE BLUE

seven month old blue bi colour lad with wonderful strong bone and very good weight. Medium size ears which slightly tilt forward. Flat plane to the top of the head. Cheeks of a good width and muzzle just a wee bit pinched today. Medium blue colouring to the eyes which were of a slightly oblique shape. Gentle dip in profile and a level bite. Pale body coat which had a silken texture and was well groomed. Couple of white patches to his back. Symmetrically marked inverted v to the face. Small amount of undercoat. Unfortunately he has a fixed deviation at the end of the tail and this was my reason for withholding the first place.

blue bi colour of fourteen months old. Very solid girl with super eye colour. Coat a little sparse. Good width to the cheeks and a well formed muzzle.

2 Hamilton PHATPAWS DREAM WEAVER

blue colourpoint of fourteen months old with a very good temperament and pretty expression. Lovely cheeks. Coat fairly long with a limited undercoat.

3 Parkes GR CH KYETSI KNICKABOCKA GLORI.

seal bi colour of two and a half years old. Medium eye colour. Nice profile. Very good size and weight just moulting badly today.

2 Lye SWANSEARAGG SWEET AS HONEY

seal tortie mitted of seventeen months old. Very nicely developed for her age. Lovely full coat which was clear and a nice undercoat. Medium blue colouring to the eyes. Strong seal brown and red to the points.

blue bi colour.

1 Preece CHEHAM STARLIGHT

tabby colourpoint, just looking a little pinched in the muzzle today. Knobbly end to the tail but no fault. Very much a wriggler.

1 Penfold & Fleckney PHATPAWS ST TREACLE

only four months old and nicely developed with good bone and weight for his age. Just a tiny bit pinched in the muzzle. Very good eye colour.

2 Carrasco ADECILO JUMPIN JAKEDONYX

blue colourpoint of eight months old. A foul temper but showing a very good strong head. Muzzle not yet fully rounded.

3 Penfold & Fleckney PHATPAWS OUT OF THE BLUE

blue bi colour.

blue tortie colourpoint. Eight months old with lovely width to the cheeks. Medium blue colouring to the eyes. Good distribution of colours to the points.

blue bi colour of over eight years old and a huge heavy weight. Strong head with quite a prominent muzzle. Full coat which had been well prepared.

1 Percival BLEUGEMS BELIEVE IN ME

seal mitted of eleven months old and what a stunner, I was so pleased to see him win overall best in show. Super type, wonderful preparation to a very full coat.

1 Hadley TALUBILOU RAGSAND TATTERS

blue mitted nearly six and a half years old. Very large lad with a full coat and minimal shading. Mittens reach to the stopper. Lovely strong blue colour to the eyes for the age.

1 Percival GR CH HUGNHOLD SUMMER BREEZE

seal mitted female of five years old. Very good well balanced type and super eye colour. Full coat which had been well prepared.

2 Pearson JAZZABELLA JASPHER

red mitted of fourteen months old. Super mittens and white to back legs. Almost clear body coat which had a nice undercoat. Very good type. Lovely lad.
