YORKSHIRE COUNTY CAT CLUB SHOW – 23.10.10 Mrs Sally Tokens
I would like to thank Lynda, Elaine and the team for asking me back to judge at the Yorks. I had some wonderful cats and heard decisions to make. The lunch was excellent as is usual for this club. My steward was John Blore and I thank him for travelling to Doncaster especially to steward for me.
AC PERSIAN IMPERIAL GRAND PREMIER MALE;
IMP GR PC; White IGR CH & IGR PR MARDIGRAS THECANDY MANCAN
cream and white bi colour lad of nearly six years old. A huge lad who is groomed to perfection with a long full and flowing coat of gleaming white which is set off by pale cream patches. Two or three patches to the back. Colour above the eyes and up to the ears. Tiny ears which are well set. Cheeks full and round. Large eyes of a very good copper. Short broad nose and a level bite. Short full brush which is fully coloured.
RES IMP GR PC; Wall CH & GR PR SHEERBLISS NIKOLAI
black spotted tabby exotic of just over four years old. Excellent strong bone and very nice weight. Just looking a tad tall on his legs today. Ears well positioned and a touch open at the base. Skull nicely formed. Eyes large and round and showing a nice orange colour. Acceptable bite. Short broad nose with a good stop and large leather and nostrils. Nice width to the cheeks. Coat of a good length and texture, standing away from the body. Soft to touch with a small amount of undercoat. Strong black markings with the sports more broken up adjacent to the spine line. Silver agouti ground colour. Tenses tail when examined.
RED SELF ADULT;
BOB Morris CH COUNTRYGIRL CHERRYBLOSSOM
two and a half years old. Quite a nervous lass and rather difficult to handle when out of the pen. Ears small in size and well positioned. Skull nicely rounded. Cheeks full and round. Level bite. Deep copper eye colour to large rounded eyes. Long full coat of a good red with the odd ghost tabby marking to the legs. Sound and even to the roots and well groomed. Short full brush.
BI COLOUR ADULT;
BOB Manning CH ALGERNON AEROSMITH
red and white lad of seventeen months old. Wonderful expression and very well balanced type. Strong bone and lovely substance. Skull well formed. Ears small in size and well positioned. Cheeks of a good width. Short broad nose with a good break and large leather and nostrils. Level bite. Coat long and full and beautifully groomed. Full white collar and white over the back and also over the base of the tail. Rich red and gleaming white. Tail fully coloured and balances with the body.
AC TABBY, SMOKE, CAMEO & WHITE ADULT;
1 CC Brittleton LADYGEM TUDOR ROSE
brown tabby and white of fifteen months old. A very pretty female with beautifully balanced type and a superb coat. Colour to the back right limb. White chevron to the face. White to the paws, chest and tummy. Excellent warm copper agouti ground colour to the back with very good black markings. Coat soft, long and full and groomed down to the last hair, with a wonderful gloss. Ears well set just a touch open at the base. Cheeks full and round. Bold eyes of a very good copper. Short broad nose and a level bite. Butterfly marking to the shoulders. Tail with the odd ring and well furnished.
BOB Nicholas GR CH QUARTET INSPIRATION
brown tabby and white with colour to the front right limb and also the back left. Colour above the eyes and up to the ears with the right hand side patch being larger. Patch of colour adjacent to the nose. Fully coloured tail with the odd ring and very well covered. Superb preparation to a long full and flowing coat. Soft to touch and the white clean and free from any staining. Lovely black markings in the coloured patches. Excellent bone and weight with small well set ears. Skull well rounded. Cheeks full and round. Eyes large and of a very good copper. Short broad nose. Level bite.
BI COLOURED KITTEN;
BOB withheld 1 Ellis SOROLYA DA VINCI
blue and white of just over three months old. Two blue patches to the head. Solid white right limbs. Two or three patches of colour to the back. Fully coloured tail. Some staining to the face. Well positioned ears just a little open at the base. Large rounded eyes of a very good copper colour. Short broad nose. Nice width to the cheeks developing. Skull well formed for his age. At present he has a misaligned canine which is causing the bite to be off centre and taking this into consideration along with the staining I felt I could not award the best of breed. Lovely blue patching.
RED, CREAM OR TORTIE BIRMAN ADULT;
1 CC Woodley CONANIMA ISOBELLA
seal tortie of just over two years old. Super bone and weight. Medium sized ears which are well set. Nice width to full cheeks and the muzzle is well formed. Eyes almost round and showing a medium blue colouring. Slight dip in profile and a level bite. Clear body coat which was soft in texture with a small amount of undercoat. Scalloped gloves, socks evenly marked. Gauntlets equal in length and breadth. Strong seal brown to the points with the red not as strong in the density of the colour, just a touch cold at the moment. Tail well furnished and reaching the shoulders.
2 Hobson TWINKLETOES SWEET NEMESIA
seal tortie girl of thirteen months old and quite the extreme to the winner, being very much more red than seal, with her red strong in colour and the seal a little pale. Nice bone structure and a sleek body. Well positioned ears of a medium size. Cheeks having a good width and muzzle nicely rounded. Well shaped eyes of a medium blue colour. Profile showing a very shallow dip. Level bite. Gloves symmetrically marked. Left sock a touch higher. Gauntlets broad and even. Clear body coat which was soft to touch just lacking in the undercoat at this present time. Tail balances with the body and showing quite a lot of red.
BOB; Doble GR CH BULLAMOOR POENIEROSE
seal tortie of nearly two and a half years old. A very large female with superb bone and weight. Ears of a good size and well set. Nice width to full cheeks and the muzzle well rounded. Eyes almost round and showing a medium colour. Slight dip in profile. Level bite. Gloves equally matched. Right sock a touch higher and gauntlets are reaching to the hocks but evenly marked. Very long full body coat which is silken in texture. Clear and free from any shading. Wonderful seal brown and red to all the points. Good tail.
RED, CREAM OR TORTIE BIRMAN KITTEN MALE;
1 & BOB Newcombe DALTEEMA ROBRED
red lad of six months old. Not too happy today and not a good sign considering he has a long way to go in his show career as he is a stunning lad, so I do hope his temperament gets better. Strong bone and good weight. Well set ears of a medium size. Cheeks full and muzzle filling out well. Slight dip in profile. Level bite. Eyes almost round and showing a nice blue colouring. Clear body coat which is soft and quite full being very well groomed. Rich red developing to all the points. Front left marking reaches the stopper pad. Gloves nicely marked. Socks even and gauntlets equal in breadth and length. Tail well furnished and balances with the body.
RED, CREAM OR TORTIE BIRMAN KITTEN FEMALE;
1 Pool SARMOYAH CHIQUITA

Slight break to the profile. Walnut shaped eyes, a touch small. Very good bone with lovely substance for his age. Large rounded paws. Tail of a nice length and lightly covered. Coat soft and dense with some undercoat present. Super density at this age. Medium red with some tabby to the face, feint tabby to the legs. Spectacles around the eyes and some silver.
