SCOTTISH CAT CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW 13 02 10 MRS JANET STARRThank you Isabel & Denise ,for inviting me once again to judge in lovely Scotland – worth the long drive! Thanks also, as ever ,to Nick for his endless patience, stewarding & chauffeuring! SIAMESE/BALINESE IMPERIAL GRAND CHAMPION MALE1 IGC Withheld SHAND’S IGR CH ANDALYN AMADEUS 04 06 06Stylish & handsome Seal-point male, just a little small & fine for a male approaching 4 years of age. Balanced wedge head hunched into his shoulders ,straight profile & firm chin, though his apprehension made it difficult to properly inspect his bite. Oriental eyes correctly shaped & set, paler than I would like in a Seal-point in the available hall light. Well placed large ears giving pleasing balance to his head. Long fine body, legs & whip tail to balance. Close coat of fine texture, a little long in places & showing cold shading, points of dense dark seal. A very attractive boy, still looking a little immature even yet & not showing himself to advantage today ORIENTAL BLACK ADULT FEMALE1CC BOB HAMILTON’S ADNIOSH BLACK LACE 09 05 09Stylish young lady, just an adult & still looking very much an adolescent. Feminine wedge head with almost straight profile & firm chin, super teeth! Green eyes just a little full, though they improved when she relaxed, well set large open ears. Long fine body, dainty legs & feet, fine whip tail of length to balance with tiny pip at the tip. Short coat of excellent texture, close & shiny. Sweet female, looking much better when relaxed in the safety of her pen SEAL-POINT MALE ADULT1CC BOB SHAND’S IGR CH ANDALYN AMADEUS2 FRASER’S SERAPIS FREESPIRIT 17 07 08Well grown male of good type. TORTIE-POINT ADULTFRASER’S TREEDANCER NA TOTH 23 10 06Pretty Lilac Tortie-point of very good type ,though somewhat reluctant to be handled! Even wedge head with straight profile & firm chin. Eyes of good bright blue ,just a little full in shape ,well placed large open ears. Long body ,legs & tail to balance. Short coat of excellent texture, showing minimal shading, points a pleasing mix of slightly dark lilac & hot cream – she may show her true colours later! Eyes of deep bright blue, oriental in shape & setting. Well placed large flyaway ears. Long strong body & legs, whip tail to balance. Close short coat of excellent texture, showing minimal shading, points of lilac-based caramel ,showing more tabby than tortie markings in such delicate pastel tones, though these were visible on her feet & ears. A very attractive female 2 SHAND’S MAFDET ROSETINTED 01 05 09Well-balanced little Seal Tabby-point, just adult & unfortunate to be in the company of the more mature lady today.
