THE SEAL AND BLUE POINT BIRMAN CAT CLUB SHOW – 31.7.10 Mrs Sally Tokens

Thank you to Shirley Talboys and her team for a very enjoyable day. The lunch was first class and credit to all the chef’s involved.

SEAL POINT BIRMAN KITTEN MALE;

1 Semos PRIDNJOY BRACKEN

just over three months old and a very good size and weight for his age. Medium size ears which are well positioned. Eyes almost round and showing a medium blue not quite sound yet. Lovely width to the cheeks and nicely rounded muzzle. Slight dip in profile. Level bite. Clear body coat with a limited amount of undercoat. Front right marking reaches the stopper and I gave him the benefit of the doubt at this stage as to whether it actually goes past. Seal mask not yet fully developed. Gloves even, socks level, gauntlets equal in length and breadth. Lightly furnished tail.

SEAL BIRMAN KITTEN FEMALE;

1 Griffiths JENICOL TOUCH-OF-CLASS

five months old and a solid little kitten. Just won this class being that slightly bit older gave her the edge. Well set ears of a medium size. Eye colour developing to nicely shaped eyes. Cheeks quite full and just a tiny bit pinched in the muzzle. Very slight bump to the nose with a slight dip in profile. Level bite. Scalloped gloves, socks fairly well marked. Gauntlets broad and even in length. Clear body coat with a nice depth of undercoat. All the points fairly well matched in the depth of seal brown, just the top of the legs to become the finished colour. Lightly covered tail which balances with the body.

2 Richardson HUGGENHUFF TINKERBELL

only four months old. Nicely grown female with lovely weight for her age. Ears of a good size and well set. Lovely cheeks with a nice muzzle developing. I would have preferred the eye colour a touch deeper but eyes of an almost round shape. Very shallow dip to the profile. Level bite. Seal brown developing to the points with a minimal amount of colour to the mask at present. Clear body coat with a small amount of undercoat. Gloves well matched. Right gauntlet just a smidge longer. Socks look nice and level. Tail reaches the shoulders and is lightly furnished.

SEAL POINT BIRMAN KITTEN FEMALE;

1 & BOB Townsend TARKUSHA CARMAN

just over seven months old. A very well developed female with lovely bone and super substance. Large rounded paws. Ears of a good size and well positioned. Cheeks quite full and just a trifle pinched in the muzzle. Slight dip in profile with a medium length nose. Medium blue colour to the eyes which were almost round in shape. Symmetrically marked gloves. Socks evenly matched. Gauntlets equal in length and breadth. Colour to the limbs not yet fully developed. Clear full body coat which was soft in texture with some undercoat. Strong seal brown to the nose with the rest of the mask to fill in with colour. Tail lightly furnished and in proportion to the body length.

CHOCOLTE OR LILAC NEUTER MALE;

chocolate lad of over eleven years old. In very good condition for his age with super strong bone and nice weight with a sleek body. Very broad head with well positioned ears of a good size. Cheeks quite full and muzzle well formed. Eyes almost round in shape and showing a good blue colour. Just a slight dip in profile. Level bite. Quite a broad nose. Coat just lacking in undercoat today with a slight golden hue to the body coat. All the chocolate points are pretty well matched. Tail very sparse in covering and reaching the shoulders. Gloves evenly marked. Socks level. Gauntlets well matched.

CHOCOLATE OR LILAC NEUTER FEMALE;

1 PC Brigliadori & Robson UK & IGR CH SHWECHINTHE PELLAGRINA

just over eight years old, lilac lass. Nice bone structure and good weight. Looking like someone has been trying to attack her tummy! Clear body coat with very little undercoat today, soft in texture. Equally matched gloves, socks nice and level. Well marked gauntlets. Pinkish grey lilac points which are all very well matched in the depth of colour. Medium size ears which are well positioned. Cheeks quite full and the muzzle well formed. Eyes almost round and showing a very good blue colour. Slight dip to the profile. Tail reaches the shoulders and is nicely covered.

SEAL OR BLUE BIRMAN NON BREEDERS ADULT MALE;

1 Pike GR CH ATHREYU OF THE BLESSED ONES

just over four years old and a strapping lad with excellent bone. Small amount of shading to the body coat. Strong head with nice eye colour.

2 Finch CH SNOWWITCH AVALON OF HEMIMARLO

thirteen months old and a very nice youngster who shows lovely promise. Clear body coat with some undercoat. Very good head for type and balance.

3 Seymour UK & IGR CH ADMONLO SEBASTIAN

AV ASSESSMENT KITTEN;

1 Matthews GALLDORA TASTE THE RAINBOW

brown and white Ragamuffin. Excellent strong bone and very good substance for her age. Expressive green eyes and a lovely full coat of a super texture and some undercoat. Head with nicely rounded contours.

SEAL OR BLUE POINT BIRMAN BREEDERS NEUTER FEMALE;

1 Semos UK GR CH & GR PR PRIDNJOY ARABESQUE

nearly eleven years old seal lass with very nice bone and weight. Good head shape with a small amount of shading to the body coat and some undercoat.

2 Pike CAROONA CENTREOFATRACTION

nine years old and a real heavy weight with wonderful bone. Coat just lacking in undercoat today with a minimal amount of shading. Very good cheeks. Tough call between these two.
