My very sincere thanks go to my untiring steward Mrs S Edwards who steered me through a busy but most enjoyable day, also for the hospitality and thoughts towards the judges welfare by the show management, thus making the whole weekend one to remember.

OPEN AC BURMESE GRAND/CHAMPION (F)

1st Imp & BOB - Verlander's Highlander Heavensent (27c)

I had no hesitation in awarding this lady who was in such immaculate condition coupled with lovely type, head has a short blunt wedge, with rounded top with well placed forward tipped ears, wide at cheek bones, shows distinct nose break, eyes well apart, large and lustrous, chin firm, bite level, neck medium in size, body muscular and hard, coat short and fine, full of bloom and good lilac colour, proportional limbs and tail. Of excellent temperament.

1st Gr Pr - Fleming's Uk Gr Pr Shoelina Zelensky (16a)

9 years of age and still retains his lovely type, condition and temperamnet. Very difficult to fault, he has all the qualities of a true 'Russian' with well balanced wedge, large high set ears and vivid green eyes, almond in shape, lithe muscular body, double sound coat of clear blue colour with silvery sheen, long slender legs and tapering tail.

Reserve - Sinclair's Gr Pr Cloudborn Mr Pink (33a 30ds)

An excellent exhibit with real (pixie) head shape, large low set, wide at base ears, short broad wedge, high cheek bones and muzzle strong with definate whisker break, brow curves back to flat skull, eyes wide set and oval in shape, chin firm, slender neckline, body hard and muscular, broad across chest, coat lovely rexed, down on underparts, long slim legs, tail well covered and tapering.

1st Gr Pr - Ferguson's Gr Ch & Pr Tearoha Serena (27c)

Rather overweight but for over 10 years of age she has excellent type and condition and she handled beautifully. Short wedge, wide at cheek bones, ears had breadth between, set with a slight forward tilt, rounded eyes large and lustrous, nose has distinct stop, chin had depth, body hard and muscular, coat short and fine, satin like in texture, slender limbs, tail a little short for overall balance.

AV ORIENTAL PR (M)

1st McAugey's Pr Advish Mr Pofogofous (37 MN)

Shortish Wedge, needs lower earset, quite a bump on end of nose, eyes just green, oriental in setting, chin form, slender neckline, body has length, coat glossy and sound to base, slender limbs, tail tapers.

2nd Woolley's Pr Gentantique Alholoorn (29)

Basically of good type, even but short wedge, ears rather high set, but quite large, eyes green, tendency to roundness, profile almost straight and slender limbs, body quite firm and muscular, coat glossy and of chestnut colour, shows stray white hairs, short tail.

1sr GR Pr - Buchan's Pr Keelokan Kaikai (32 5)

A well developed boy of good oriental type strong wedge large wide at base ears, breadth between, straight in profile, vivid blue oriental eyes, chin firm, bite level, elegant neckline, body lithe and muscular, vivid complete mask and points colour, coar short and fine in texture, almost clear of shading, long limbs and tail, of super temperament and in splendid condition.

1st Gr Pr Spence's Pr Scotmar Classie Lassie (24a)

Quite an elegant girl, shortish but balanced wedge, ears large and wide at base, breadth between, eyes oriental in setting, vivid blue in tone, chin firm, bite level, straight in profile, coat fine and even in texture, some shading, but blue, elegant limbs and tapered tail. Of good temperament.

2nd - Goodwin's Ch & Gr Pr Genetta Blue Hyacinth (24a)

This girl has lost condition and type since I last met her, especially coat shading, which is fawn. Even wedge, except for the muzzle showing a pinch, oriental clear blue eyes, straight in profile, good complete mask, points of soft blue tone, slender limbs and tail has length. Lovely temperament.

1st - Andrews' Syrinx Arianna (23e)

A very short roundish head, ears have breadth between and well set, straight in profile, eyes well spaced and of almond shape, chin firm, body firm and muscular, coat of quite good texture, but a little pale in colour and no definate ticking, slender limbs and tail slightly tapers, solid tip. Very difficult to handle.

1st CC BOB - Robertson's/Richardson's Esanes Inpressant (76 30)

Just eleven months of age, but fully developed, strong & masculine of excellent type, richness of colour and pattern clearly defined, broad medium wedge with rounded contours, high cheek bones, gentle curve in profile, broad nose, chin firm, showing whisker pad, ears shortish and wide at base, sleek muscular body, coat quite thick and even, solid tip. Handled beautifully.

OPEN SNOW SPOTTED (AOV) BLUE EYES BENGAL (M)

1st CC BOB Robinson's/Richardson's Esanes Etourdissant (76a 30)

An excellent exhibit, young as yet but well developed and masculine, good strength of head, broad medium wedge with good contour lines, high cheek bones, eyes almost round and large, broad nose and ears smallish, short wide at base, full muzzle and pronounced whisker break, bite level, slight curve in profile, body sleek and muscular, coat has good ivory base with tan pattern, spots on underpart. In lovely condition and has pearlised effect, limbs and tail proportionate. Of lovely temperament.

1st CC Forbes' Acclaim Weesams TTye (78 30s)

Of excellent type with very striking definate spotting and pattern throughout with good silver base and no tarnishing, slightly rounded wedge, gentle curve in profile, width between slightly flared ears, set well back, eyes large and of good green tone, chin firm, bite level, graceful body lines, elegant neckline, coat close lying and lustrous, elegant tapering tail, handled well.

2nd Chapman's Mintander Amirah Moonstone (78 30)

Rather a cross patch, not very willing to be judged, well developed, rather flat back of head and top, eears of medium size, broad at base, width between, eyes large, goosberry green in colour, good rounded muzzle , chin firm, bite level, elegant neckline, bosy gracefull and muscular, coat has definate spotting, mask pattern well defined, good silvery base, unbroken necklaces, long slim legs, dainty paws, rail thickens to base and tapering.

1st BOB Fleming's Shoeline Tahiti Trot (16a)

A super promising kitten, very typical of the 'breed' expressive head, large high set ears, angular profile, excellent green oval eyes, already shows whisker pads, chin firm, body has length, coat of medium blue tone, double, proportionate limbs/tail. Very sweet tempered.

1st Pontello's Pontello Enrico (23)

A well developed kitten of good type, moderate wedge with good contour lines to muzzle, chin firm, bite level, nose shows desired break, eyes well spaced and almond in shape, body firm and muscular, coat well ticked, rich to base, except on legs which are cold as yet, clear underparts, suspected continuous necklace, a few bars on legs, tail tapers with black lines and solid tip.

1st BOB Mather's Makima Desert Rose (23)

An elegant friendly kitten, well balanced head, ears of medium size, breadth between, nose shows desired stop, chin firm, bite level, eyes well spaced, almond in shape, body has substance, coat rich to base with desired ticking, clear underparts, necklace marks broken, slender limbs, quite clear, tail tapers shows black line to solid tip, handled well and in splendid condition.

2nd McRae's Ballego Foreverin Blugenes (73a)

Pr 1st N/A - This exhibit does not conform to the 'standard' laid down, although well developed, head quite round, no whisker pinch, ears small and high set, solid in body but coat solid blue and no spots in evidence and long, therefore no high awards given.

2nd Hamilton's Kennbury Inyanga Ayesha (27c)

Only just adult and needs more development, a rather flat top of head, well placed rounded ears, short wedge and high cheek bones, a little narrow in muzzle, as yet nose shows stop, eyes a little close set and small, chin firm, bite level, body hard and muscular, coat short and fine in texture, rather blue in colour, slender limbs and tail tapers to rounded tip.

An exhibit of lovely type and in splendid condition, short blunt wedge and high cheek bones, good rounded top of head and forehead, eyes well apart, nose has definate break, chin firm, bite level, body hard and muscular, coat short and fine in texture and glossy, slender limbs and tapering tail with rounded tip. Of excellent temperament.

This exhibit is basically of good oriental type, even triangular head, straight in profile and oriental in setting, colour rather dull, ears large and wide at base, breadth between with thumb sized colouring and rather solid mask, unbroken with white, body has length, coat 85% white, long with an off white tinge, chin dirty and needs attention, slender limbs and tapered tail of length.

1st Hewson's Emperus Damien (37)

Lacks presentation, good strength of head with large wide at base ears, eyes round and full, has amber cast, straight in profile, chin firm, long in body, coat long and greasy, slender limbs, tapered tail, very tense and nervous to handle.

1st Pr BOB Cox's Gr Pr Kheraf Red Hotshot (37d)

Strong masculine type, even wedge, large wide at base ears, breadth between, straight in profile, green oriental eyes, long elegant neckline, body full of substance with length, coat short and fine in texture, rich in colour, but shows heavy tabby and spotted markings, long legs and tail, hanfdled beautifully in excellent condition.

1st CC BOB Shand's Ch Palmira Sulaweisi (24b)

A typey well balanced girl, even wedge, no pinch, large well placed ears, chin firm, bite level, elegant neckline, svelte body, coat of ivory tone, fine and even in texture, points and mask complete, but dark tail tapered. In lovely condition, handled well.

2nd Fay's Adateam Lurvlee Lexi (24b)

Good top of head and well set large ears and straight dip in profile, eyes of clear blue tone, oriental in setting, muzzle shows pinch, chin firm, bite level, slender neckline, length of body, coat short and close lying, ivory in tone, points dark for the 'breed' elegant limbs and length of tail. Well presented.

1st Whyte's Genetta Glengarry (24c)

Rather small and effiminate for full male of almost two years of age, even wedge, straight in profile, oriental clear blue eyes, ears quite large and well placed, chin firm, bite level, length of body, oat has shading and rather long, points a little blue and lacks that pink hue one looks for in this breed. Elegant limbs and tapered long tail.

1st BOB Shand's Palmira Yolande (24c)

An excellent promising kitten of lovely type, even wedge, no pinch, large wide at base ears, well placed, straight in profile, chin firm, bite level, body firm, coat short and close lying, magnolia in colour, true lilac points of pink hue, slim legs and fine tail. Very Sweet temperament.
