SHROPSHIRE CAT CLUB – 6TH FEBRUARY, 2010. MRS. PAT PERKINS – SHOW REPORTTo Janet and all the team my thanks for the invitation to the Shropshire, I had an enjoyable day with some lovely cats and kittens, the people were OK too!! Special thanks to Pat Parrish for stewarding for me, her help and company was very much appreciated. A.C. PERSIAN SELF CHAMPION – MALE2 super lads. GR. LADY D. STEPHENSONS CH. WESTHOLME ROCKNROLL – (9.4.08)Lovely Red lad with an excellent temperament, wearing a very full soft coat of a sound red, beautifully prepared, frill framing his strong masculine head, wide top with small side set ears, well furnished, large round copper eyes, nose broad with good break and wide leather, firm chin, good balance. Solid cobby body, depth to chest, thick short legs, his feet large and full of feathers, tail full and short – quality boy. RES. ROGERS GR. CH. WESTHOLME X FACTOR – (10.9.04)Another super Westholme boy, a Black Exotic, thick coat with a very good texture, a sound glossy black, standing away very well. Solid cobby bone, good substance, thick short legs and large rounded feet. Strong rounded head, good width between small neat ears, eyes of a mid orange, short nose and strong break, firm chin, tail short and in balance, rounded end – laid back boy to handle. AV PERSIAN BI-COLOUR ADULT – MALE1ST. CC & BOB DAYS DAYZEE JUSTINTYME – (27.2.09)Red/White lad with stunning eyes, large round and a deep copper, lovely expression, broad head, tiny feathered ears, short nose with good break, wide leather and open nostrils, full cheeks and firm chin, he is only 11 months but already has strong boning and good substance. Coat medium in length at present, approx 80% pristine white, Sound red patch to back, minimum red to face, tail very full, a good red – super temperament. 2ND. BRITTLETONS CH. LADYGEM PICASO – (24.4.07)Mature Blue/White, long well groomed soft coat the white sparkling, sound blue to top of head, patch in back, tail short, bushy an even blue. Solid cobby build, short sturdy legs, wide top of head, ears well furnished and set nicely, big round orange eyes, firm chin and fat cheeks, nose broad with good break – gentle boy to handle. 3RD. FARSONS & JONES CH. GEMKIN BLUE LIGHTENING - (13.10.08)Another Blue/White lad with a very gentle temperament, dark blue patches to back, tail short and full, a dark blue, mid sound blue patching to head. Wide top of head, small ears, round eyes of amid orange. Compact build, strong legs – a little shy. AC BI-COLOUR NEUTER – MALE1ST. PC & BOB CASE CH. GEMKIN JAZZY JASPER – (11.8.08)Red/White wearing a thick long coat, soft and flowing, very well prepared. Rich sound red to back, short wide tail, patches of colour on legs, white on legs, tummy and face, red chin. Strong bone and cobby build, sturdy legs, breadth to chest. Wide masculine head framed by a full ruff, small ears, lots of furnishings, nose broad, good break, firm chin, lovely large copper eyes – friendly lad in lovely condition. 2ND. HIGGINS GR. CH. ALINDAS BAM BAM – (6.6.08)Solid, well padded and cobby Black/White, another in lovely show condition. Rounded top to head, small side set ears, long feathers, big round mid orange eyes, firm chin and full cheeks. Soft thick coat, crisp white to body, sound black patches on lower back, black to head and face, wide short black tail to balance – laid back boy. FEMALE 1ST. & PC EDWARDS PR. DELAVALE ROSEBUD – (25.6.02)Mature Cream/White lady, long coat very well patched in even cream and clear white, full cream frill. Wide open expression, still retaining a good orange eye colour, medium nose with fair break, level bite, firm chin, ears little wide at base but nicely furnished. Solid build, strong legs, tail wide and flowing a mid cream – gentle girl to handle. AC PERSIAN JUNIOR NEUTER1ST. CASE CH. GEMKIN JAZZY JASPER2ND. HIGGINS GR. CH. ALINDAS BAM BAMAV SEMI-LH VISITORS – KITTEN1ST. BAILETS NICADEMUS TRANQULILTYWISHDelightful Tortie Birman youngster, excellent tortie to mask, paws and tail, neat white paws and even gauntlets, body coat soft and clear a pale creamy beige. Medium length nose with slight dip, ears still a touch high but set well apart, round eyes of a good blue – bright lively temperament. 2ND. WAREINGS NORGESKAUKATT OSKARWell made White Norwegian boy who I have recently judged, good bone, length to body, triangular head shape, well set ears, pristine white coat – lovely lad to handle. 3RD. HORTONS NAMRIB CHEROKEEClassic Red Tabby & White Maine Coon baby of 14 weeks, already showing good head type and excellent high ears. AC MAINE COON KITTENThis was a great class of youngsters from 14 weeks to 8 months 1ST. ROBERTS MAINETRAX KOUGARBrown Tabby & White boy of 6 months, good length to body and strong high legs, very long tail past shoulders, well ringed. Glossy coat showing distinct tabby markings on a warm ground. Super high set wide based ears, tipped and feathered, curve to nose, square muzzle – lovely temperament. 2ND. HARTES CHANDALINI NEON TIGERRed Classic Tabby & White another at 6 months with long lean body, high legs, wide based ears sitting on top of head, nicely furnished, curve to nose, bright oblique set eyes. Glossy coat good dark red markings to head and sides, back still a little solid, long ringed tail – friendly lad. 3RD. LAWSONS OLTOMAINE LITTLE BOY BLUEVery well made Blue Tabby lad, almost an adult and showing body length and good bone development. AV SEMI-LH NON-BREEDERS – NEUTERA class of quality exhibits the first 3 all worthy of a 1st place. 1ST. GRANTS PR. MABALAKAY SILVER SURFERBig mature Silver Tabby and White Maine Coon lad. Strong head, well set high ears, long tips, curve to broad nose, firm muzzle, bright oblique set green eyes. Well developed body, strong legs and big feet. Thick coat, frontal ruff, shaggy tummy and trousers, Dark classic tabby markings on a silver ground, long tail past shoulders – friendly boy. 2ND. STABLES GR. CH. & PR. AMORES OPHELIA FIZKINGrand Usual Silver Somali lady of almost 7 years and still looking good. Dense soft coat texture, well ticked, spine line down back and top of tail. Balanced head, moderate wedge, ears well set, slight rise from nose to forehead, firm chin, bright almond shaped eyes, spectacles round eyes, a balanced feminine lass. 3RD. ASHWORTHS UK/GR. CH & UK IM. GR. PR EMERISLE DIAMANTESuper Seal Bi-Colour Ragdoll lady of almost 10 years still has lovely deep blue eyes. SOMALI NEUTER1ST. STABLES GR. CH.& PR AMORES OPHELIA FIRKIN2nd. TAYLORS BRIZLINCOAT NOLESE OBLIGELovely Usual youngster of only 10 months, he already has the firm lithe body, long legs, oval tufted feet. Soft dense coat of a rich golden brown, evenly ticked in black, new coat coming in, some grey to roots, long bushy tail with a dark tip. Moderate wedge shaped head, ears set wide apart, lovely bright almond eyes – gentle temperament.
