Many thanks to Brenda and Sue for the invitation to judge and to the club for their hospitality. A most enjoyable day with some lovely cats. Also a big thank you to my friend Sue Barrett who came to steward for me especially. Hope you enjoyed the day as much as I did. I look forward to the next time.

AV ANY OTHER FOREIGN PREMIER MALE

1 GPC COAK’S GR PR ADMILSH ZABARI 76 30 MN 14.10.00

Brown Spotted Bengal. Huge boy, mature eight plus year old with a large body, long, well balanced with muscular proportionate length, strong, well boned legs and large, rounded paws. Longish tail but thick and even, carried low and with a rounded tip. Short to medium length coat, fairly dense, soft and luxurious. Rufus ground colour with slight grey overtones but clear deep brown and black spotting, showing a bulls eye pattern on flanks, slight linkage back from right shoulder, broken lines and spots on legs, spots on tummy and rings on tail. Black and brown facial markings and chin strap. Broad, medium wedge with rounded contours, high cheek bones and head correctly small in proportion to the body. In profile slight curve from forehead to bridge of nose, slight concave curve to nose then slightly long, straight line to tip spoilt by very slight bump. Large, broad nose with puffed nose leather. Full muzzle, level bite and medium depth chin. Pronounced whisker pads. Thick muscular neck. Generous sized ears, wide at base and rounded at tips. Full, almond shaped, green eyes, large and correctly slanted towards the base of the ear. Lovely temperament and shown in lovely condition.

RGPC LANE’S PR DRASNIAN RAFFLES JEWEL 77 MN 26.7.07

Singapura of eighteen months of age. Rounded skull with rounded width at outer eye, narrowing to definite whisker break. Medium, fairly short, broad muzzle with a blunt nose. Profile shows rounded skull and slight stop just below the eye line, then fairly short nose straight to tip. Level bite and medium depth chin. Slightly oversized ears for his face but wide at base, deep cupped and tilted slightly outwards. Large eyes with dark outline, held wide open and green in colour. Medium size and length to body, moderately stocky and muscular with a good firm feel. Legs muscled at body and tapering to small oval feet. Tail measures just short of shoulder, slender and with a blunt dark tip. Good coat fairly short, fine, silky and close lying. Ivory base colour with soft warm effect and with sepia brown ticking, showing two bands of colour separated by light, dark at tips and light at roots. Muzzle, chest, stomach and inner legs of unticked ivory. Barring on inner front legs and back knees only. Yellowy broken necklace. Nose leather mid-dark salmon with dark outline. Cheetah lines from inner corner of eye towards just behind whisker pads. Brown spurs on lower back hind legs. A bit upset today but handled ok.

1 GPC WILLIAMS’S PR SANTILLO JASMIN 78 30s FN 3.7.07

Silver Egyptian Mau. Very stylish eighteen month old young lady shown in lovely condition. Slightly rounded wedge of medium length. In profile gentle contour with very slight rise from bridge to forehead and down neck. Uniform width down nose to gently rounded muzzle. Level bite and medium depth chin. Medium ears, broad at base, slightly pointed, set well back and cupped forward to follow line of head. Large, rounded almond shaped eyes, set straight under a level brow, pale gooseberry green in colour. Medium to long body, strong and muscular, well balanced and deceptively weighty. Elegant proportionate legs and small rounded paws. Medium length tail, thicker at base and tapering gently towards tip. Medium length, close lying coat with good sheen to it. Pale silver ground colour with deep charcoal spotting clear and with no tarnishing. ‘M’ on forehead with frown marks, complex scarab over top breaking into spots along spine. Mascara lines on cheeks. Randomly spotted, clearly defined, broken necklaces, bars on legs with spots on lower legs. Ringed tail with a dark tip. Lovely temperament.

RGPC CASE’S PR FECHELDEE ANASTASIA 74c FN 25.9.02

Attractive mature lady of nearly seven years of age. Gently rounded top of head of good width between ears, moderately proportioned wedge with a rounded muzzle and definite whisker pinch. Profile shows slight nose break then nose straight to tip. Level bite and medium depth chin. Medium sized ears, slightly taller than wide, broad at base, oval at tips and pricked forward and set well apart. Large, full almond shaped eyes, set well apart and greeny-blue in colour. Longish body very weighty but still maintaining good muscle tone and well balanced with a broad, rounded chest, slender legs and neat oval paws. Medium length tapering tail. Fairly short, close lying coat, fine, soft and silky with a good sheen to it. Lilac coat colour with some darker shading along back and bluey masking on face. Lovely temperament.

AC BURMESE GRAND PREMIER A lovely class, a real pleasure to judge.

1 IGR PC HUTCHINGS’S IMP GR PR TALIPAW BURLINGTON BERTIE 27b MN 13.12.04

A handsome boy of four plus years of age of excellent size and weight and with good muscle tone. Medium to longer length body with proportionate, shapely legs and largish oval paws. Tail well shaped but a trifle thick overall and just a fraction short to balance body for perfection. Fairly short and close lying coat of satiny texture. Warm toned medium chocolate, slightly paler across neck shoulders and with slightly darker chocolate contrast masking to face and ears. Very good width to gently rounded top of head between well set and shaped ears of goodly size. Slight flattening to brow, good nose break, nose a trifle long but straight. Level bite and good depth chin. Good size and shape to pale chartreuse eyes well set. Lovely temperament.

RIGR PC ELLIS’S IMP GR PR MAINMAN APOLLO 27b MN 21.5.04

Four and a half year old boy of excellent size and weight with good muscle tone. Medium to longer body with proportionate, shapely legs and largish oval paws. Good tail for length and shape to balance body. Coat fairly short and close lying and of excellent texture. Warm toned medium to darker chocolate colour, nice and even over body, slightly paler across shoulders and darker contrast masking to face and ears. Fairly short blunt wedge. Very good width to gently rounded top of head between well set and shaped ears of good size. Slight flattening to brow, good nose break, nose a trifle long but straight. Level bite and medium depth chin. Good size and shape to pale yellow eyes well set. Lovely temperament.

BRITISH BLACK KITTEN

1 & BOB RISCHLING’S ADATESH HENDRIX 15 M 6.6.08

Well grown seven month old boy of very good size and weight with good muscle tone. Head has full cheeks and good breadth to skull and rounded top of head with good width between medium sized ears set far apart so following the outer contours of the head and rounded at tips. Rounded brow, slightly long but straight, broad nose. Noticeably teething at present so distorting lower face shape but level bite and fair depth chin. Orange eyes set wide apart but I would prefer them larger for perfection. Short neck to slightly long rather than cobby body at present but with a level back, low on legs and with a full, broad, deep chest. Short, solid, well boned legs and largish, rounded paws. Good tail, medium in length, thicker at base and rounded at tip. Coat a trifle long but fairly dense but on the slightly soft side of crisp in texture. Sound jet black colour to coat with a nice sheen to it. A very wriggly fellow but nice natured.

BRITISH BLACK SILVER TABBY KITTEN

1 & BOB NICHOLSON’S METALLLICAT SILVER HERO 18 F 6.9.08

Well balanced four month old kitten of good size and weight with good muscle tone. Head has full cheeks to a round face with good breadth to skull and rounded top of head with good width between ears set far apart so following the outer contours of the head, medium in size and rounded at tips. Rounded brow and short, straight, broad nose. Level bite but has double upper canines at present, medium depth chin. Large and well open eyes set wide apart, eye colour developing, green at centre but yellow tones to outer edge. Short neck to compact body with a short level back, low on legs and with a full, broad, deep chest. Stocky, well boned legs and firm, rounded paws. Medium length tail, slightly fine and has minor defect at tip. Short, dense coat with a crisp texture. Bright silver ground colour with deep, black classic markings. Superb pattern, well defined and no tarnishing. Spots on tummy and spots on toes. Lovely temperament.

BRITISH RED/CREAM/TORTIE TABBY KITTEN

1 & BOB O’CONNOR’S HUMBUG MINNIMINX 20e F 16.9.08

A delightful four month old kitten with good overall balance, excellent size and weight and with good muscle tone. Head has full cheeks to a round face with good breadth to skull and rounded top of head with good width between neat ears set far apart so following the outer contours of the head, small in size and rounded at tips. Rounded brow and short, straight, broad nose. Level bite but double upper canines at present giving puffed whisker pads, slightly shallow chin. Large and well open eyes set wide apart, muddy tone to golden colour at present. Short neck, compact body with a short level back, low on legs and with a well rounded chest. Short, well boned legs and firm, rounded paws. Medium length tail, thicker at base and rounded at tip. Very mature coat for a young kitten, short, dense and with a fairly crisp texture. Tortie Tabby black classic pattern well defined and overlaid with shades of bright red. Golden brown ground colour slightly marred by grey overtones.

BRITISH BROWN, BLUE, CHOCOLATE OR LILAC TABBY KITTEN

1 & BOB WORSLEY-WARING’S SATINMIST SUPURR SAMSON 20 M 18.8.08

Very good size and weight to this five month old lad with good muscle tone. Good breadth to skull, full cheeks and rounded top of head with good width between ears set far apart so following the outer contours of the head, medium in size and rounded at tips. In profile rounded brow and short, straight, broad nose. Level bite but slightly shallow chin. Orange eyes large and well open and set wide apart. Short neck, good cobby body with a short level back, low on legs and with a broad, good depth chest. Short, stocky legs and firm, rounded paws. Medium length tail, thicker at base and rounded at tip. Short, dense coat with a crisp texture. Brown Tabby of coppery brown ground colour which is showing some ticking and grey overtones at present so spoiling the definition of his black, classic pattern. Three parallel lines down back and good butterfly outline at shoulders but oyster shaped patches could be clearer. Lovely temperament.

 BRITISH BI-COLOURED KITTEN Two lovely kittens with little to choose between them.

1 & BOB WILLIS’S FELESAMOR TAMERINE-HUNNY 31f M 16.8.08

Five month old boy very well grown and of very good size and weight with good muscle tone. Head has full cheeks to a round face with good breadth to skull and rounded top of head with good width between ears set far apart so following the outer contours of the head, medium in size and rounded at tips. Rounded brow and short, straight, broad nose. Level bite (double upper canine on left hand side) and medium depth, level chin. Large and well open eyes set wide apart, deep orange in colour. Short neck, slightly long rather than cobby body at present but with a level back, low on legs and with a well rounded, deep chest. Short, strong legs and firm, rounded paws. Medium length tail, thicker at base and rounded at tip. Coat fairly short, lovely and dense but just slightly on the soft side of crisp in texture. Cream and White of pale cream sound to roots but showing faint tabby markings. White to back high boots broken by colour, tummy, front legs going up around neck forming a collar, inverted ‘V’ on face, lips chin and chest. Lovely temperament.

2 LORTON-HOBBS’S LORASTON PIERS-PITSTOP 31f M 13.9.08

Four month old boy looking a very chunky model. Well balanced and of good size and weight with good muscle tone. Round face has full cheeks , good breadth to skull and rounded top of head with good width between neat ears set far apart so following the outer contours of the head, fairly small in size and rounded at tips. Rounded brow and short, straight, broad nose. Level bite and fair depth chin. Deep golden coloured eyes are set wide apart but I would prefer them slightly larger for perfection. Short neck to cobby body with a short level back, low on legs and with a full, broad, deep chest. Short, strong, well boned legs and firm, rounded paws. Medium length tail, thicker at base and rounded at tip. Short, dense coat with a crisp texture. Cream and White of cool toned cream which pales slightly to roots and is showing a faint spotted pattern. White to inverted ‘V’ on face, lips, chin, chest, broken collar, tummy broken by colour and high boots both to front and back legs. Lovely temperament.

BLUE BURMESE ADULT MALE

1 CC Withheld MACOY’S OYIBO MACOYS BLUETT 27a M 14.4.08

Very good size and weight to this nine month old boy with a delightful temperament. Medium to longer body with good muscle tone, proportionate, shapely legs and largish oval paws. Well shaped tail is a fraction short to balance body. Coat a bit long but close lying and of fairly good texture. Spoilt by stud tail at base of spine and along top of tail. Medium blue in colour with sandy overtones and rather ticked appearance. Small patch of white hairs between back legs. Fairly good width to gently rounded top of head between rather large ears held slightly low so spoiling his look. Slight flattening to brow, adequate nose break, nose a bit long but straight. Level bite but shallow chin. Pale chartreuse eyes of good shape but need to be larger for that lustrous look. Nice temperament.

BLUE BURMESE ADULT FEMALE

1 CC & BOB WOODLEY’S CH HONPUSS MASHONA 27a F 25.3.02

Nearly seven year old, smart looking lady with a medium to longer body of very good weight and nice firm feel. Proportionate, long, slender legs and neat oval paws. Good tail for length and shape to balance body and finished with a nice paint brush tip. Coat a trifle long but close lying and of good texture. Medium to deeper blue in colour with nice silvering to rounded areas. Good width to gently rounded top of head between well set and shaped ears of good size. Slight flattening to brow, good nose break, nose a trifle long but straight. Level bite but slightly shallow chin. Good size and shape to pale chartreuse eyes well set. Sweet natured.

2 FEARON’S MOOTAM MERRYMEW 27a F 14.3.07

Shy nearly two year old lady with an elegant, medium to longer body, slim proportionate legs and neat oval paws. Well shaped tail is a fraction short to balance body. Coat fairly short and close lying and of fairly good texture. Medium blue in colour with silvering to rounded areas. Good width to gently rounded top of head between well set and shaped ears of goodly size. Slight flattening to brow, fairly good nose break, nose a bit long but straight. Level bite and medium depth chin but slight pinch at jaw hinge. Yellow eyes spaced well apart but tending to round in shape. Nice natured. A

OC TORTIE BURMESE ADULT

Very good size and weight to this nearly two year old lady with a good firm feel to her. Medium build to body with proportionate, slender legs and neat oval paws. Well shaped tail of good length to balance body. Coat fairly short and close lying and of very good texture. Prettily mingled palish lilac and shades of cream. Fairly short, blunt wedge. Very good width to gently rounded top of head between well set and shaped ears of goodly size. Slight rounding to brow, good nose break and fairly short, straight nose. Level bite but slightly shallow chin. Large and lustrous, pale yellow eyes set well apart. Lovely temperament.

2 JARVIS’S KYMIAN MARTHA 27h F 15.10.06

Two plus year old lady on he point of calling. Elegant, deceptively weighty medium bilt body with proportionate slim legs and neat oval paws. Well shaped tail is just a fraction short to balance body. Coat fairly short and close lying and of very good satin like texture. Attractive mixture of deep but warm toned chocolate and shades of red. Good width to gently rounded top of head between well set and shaped ears of generous size. Gentle rounding to brow, good nose break and fairly short nose. Good size and shape to yellow eyes well set. Level bite and fair depth chin. Nice natured.

3 WOODLEY’S HONPUSS CARELESS WHISPA 27g F 29.7.06

Well balanced two and a half year old lady of good size and weight with proportionate, shapely legs and neat oval paws. Good tail for length and shape to balance body. Coat a trifle long but close lying and of fairly good texture. Medium blue and rather hot toned cream prettily mingled. Good width to gently rounded top of head between well set and shaped ears of good size. Slight rounding to brow, good nose break, nose a bit long and rounds slightly. Level bite and fair depth chin. Large and lustrous pale chartreuse eyes set well apart. Sweet natured.
