THE SOUTHERN COUNTIES SHOW - JANUARY 2009

A good entry and a busy but enjoyable show, thank you for the invitation to judge. My grateful thanks to Susan Danks for coming to steward for me, I hope you enjoyed your day as much as I did.

Super well know boy looking every bit as fabulous as he did in his heyday. Scores high on all counts and is such a gentle ‘gentleman’ and a pleasure to judge. Congratulations on becoming Best Semi Long Haired Neuter.

RES STANTON GR PR AZERPASHAN BOBBY DAZZLER 66a

Another stunning boy who scores high on all counts. Looking great today and unlucky to meet the winner. Also a true ‘gentleman’ and has the typical Raggie demeanour. I love him.

Very stylish girl of excellent type and so typical of her breed. Super coat In lovely condition and she well deserved her certificate even though she was alone in the class.

Well structured fellow with good ‘feel’ about him. Lovely well presented coat is dense black. Strong head, neat well placed ears, lovely bold copper eyes. He has a lovely face and expression. Congratulations on becoming a Champion today.

Large handsome fellow dripping in coat and full frill frames his face. Lovely head and eyes.

Cobby and muscular, well set on legs. Lovely pure white coat is impeccable and beautifully prepared. Broad round head, small well placed ears, round cheeks, large bold orange eyes, lovely face and expression.

2 HOWES HONEYMIST WHITE ESTELLA

Well muscled lass well proportioned. Lovely pure white coat is very well prepared and pristine. Round head, ears set well, nose a tad longer, leather well formed, large bold orange eyes, she is a real sweetie.

WHITE (ODD-EYED) PERSIAN ADULT: FEMALE

Cobby with good muscle, Coat very well groomed, long and fine texture, pure white except for slight staining under eye. Round head, neat ears, full cheeks, large bold eyes, one deep orange, the other is light blue.

BLUE OR LILAC TORTIE& WHITE PERSIAN KITTEN: FEMALE

1 LOVESEY PERSILIUS BUBBLES DEVERE 12 2

Delightful kitten of very nice type, lovely well prepared coat shows patches of pale blue and cream on pristine white with a fully coloured tail. Head well shaped, short nose, well formed leather, good muzzle, teeth not complete but bite undershot and slightly offset. Lovely large bold muddy copper eyes. She is such a sweetie.

Well structured boy of very good type, feeling weighty. Coat of good length, frill over his shoulders, overall well prepared, rich red on pure white, patches of colour on body and head, white underbody and limbs, coloured tail. Breadth to round head, ears well set, need to drop. Short nose, well formed leather, muzzle well developed, bite fractionally under. Large copper eyes are large and bold.

BOB only PRESTIDGE GR CH & GR PR RODONY’S DON JUAN (IMP)

Large handsome fellow with a profuse coat of rich red, lovely head and eyes.

RED OR CREAM POINT BIRMAN ADULT: MALE

Young well grown boy, well muscled and well balanced. Very good coat has very nice texture and colour, tidy markings to feet. Rounded head, ears set well, he has such a nice face and expression, clear blue eyes.

2 BRIGLIADORI & ROBSON SHWECHINTHE FLAPJACK 13c7

Another youngster with good substance, he is only just adult and needs time to develop but one for the future. Super coat and colouring, tidy markings to feet. Neat head, growing into ears, very nice face and expression. Expressive eyes are clear blue.

RED, CREAM OR TORTIE POINT BIRMAN ADULT: FEMALE

1 CC BRIGLIADORI & ROBSON SHWECHINTHE AURORA 13c7

Delightful lass, just adult and litter mate to Flapjack. She is well formed and has such a lovely coat and good markings to all feet. Neat rounded head, needs to fill out in the muzzle, very nice eye shape and set, clear blue. A pretty girl.

2 NUTLEY TISANTI TALUTAH OFSIOLU 13c5

Another youngster needing time to fill out, well proportioned, very nice coat colour and texture, lovely bushy tail, gauntlets not quite matched. Rounded head, ears well placed, she has a nice face and expression and very good eye colour.

3 MADDEN CH PENBERIS DEMELZA 13c5

Good muscle to body and well proportioned, her coat has very nice texture and colouring, tidy markings to feet. Rounded head, ears well placed, her muzzle appeared a little pinched today. Eyes well set, good colour.

TABBY OR TORTIE-TABBY POINT BIRMAN ADULT: FEMALE

1 CC BALDWIN CH KRAZIKLAUS POTTY DOTTY 13c11

Well proportioned lass with well matched gloves and gauntlets. Lovely coat has super markings very clearly defined. Round head, ears well set, lovely face and expression, lovely expressive eyes are deep blue.

BOB FLINT GR CH LALOLA STARLIGHT 13c11

Mature girl very well structured. Lovely coat and markings, strong head, lovely eyes and expression.

ASIAN TIFFANIE KITTEN: FEMALE

1 BOB THOMAS SEYSIANA PUSSEYCAT DOLL

Well grown kitty, very nice type. Very good coat, ruff around neck, nice brush, her markings are muted but colour shows strong contrast with the clear silver base. Well shaped head and ears, very good profile line, Lustrous green eyes, she has a lovely expression, a real sweetie.

ASIAN TABBY NEUTER: MALE

1 PR PR KIMANI JOHNNY HATES JAZZ

Well structured boy with solid ‘feel’, lovely short close coat has warm seal markings on creamy beige ground. Well shaped head, ears well set, very nice expression in his green eyes. An attractive exhibit.

Attractive young lady of very nice type, lovely coat texture and colour. Well shaped head and ears, well defined profile. Large expressive eyes of good shape.

Stylish girl of impeccable type, she is always a joy to judge.

SNOW SPOTTED BENGAL NEUTER: MALE

1 PR BOB BULL CUDDLEMORE PRINCE MATIRI

Shy boy, solid and muscular. Super coat texture, well spotted on light ground colour with the effect of pearl dusting. Well shaped head and ears, broad nose, puffed leather, lovely deep blue eyes of good shape, lovely expression.

SNOW MARBLED BENGAL NEUTER: MALE

1 PR BOB RICHMOND-WATSON OWLSDENE SNOW-PRINCE

Shy boy, well muscled, nice ‘feel’ about him, very good tail. Lovely coat with very good marbled pattern, good contrast on light ground colour, pearl dusting evident. Well shaped head, ears well set, good shape to muzzle, large expressive oval blue eyes.

2 WARNE & BULL CUDDLEMORE OKRI’S REIKO

Well structured muscular boy of good proportions. Lovely coat texture and pattern, showing good contrast with ground colour. Pearl dusting evident. Good shape to top of head, a little long in the muzzle and needs time to ‘shape-up’. Expressive eyes are clear blue. Rather nervous.

CHOCOLATE BURMESE KITTEN: FEMALE

1 BOB BRININGER OYIBO KARRIE-WHITCHIT

A sweet natured extrovert kitten. Overall well proportioned, good muscle to body. Lovely close textured coat of even warm colour. Good shape to head, well defined profile, ears set well apart, Golden eyes are large and lustrous. A lively lass.

LILAC BURMESE KITTEN: MALE

1 BOB KING KATSACUTE DREAM

Well grown kitten with lovely ‘feel’ about him. Short close silky textured coat, colour is even. Well shaped head and ears, well defined profile line, lustrous eyes are well set and the colour is good. Overall he is very well balanced. A good natured kitten.

2 SAUNDERS PAPAGENA YESLOW WOLSEY

Youngster with good substance for size and well proportioned. Silky textured coat has very nice colouring, showing pinkish cast. Head developing well, very good line in profile, he is growing into ears which are well placed. Very good eye colour, shape and set.

LILAC BURMESE KITTEN: FEMALE

1 DEWHURST SKAMPAWS MORNING CLOUD

Compact young kitten well proportioned. Coat has fine silky textue, kitten length, colour very nice and showing pinkish cast. Neat head, growing into ears which have good shape. Well defined profile line. Large lustrous eyes of very good colour. She is a real sweetie.

2 WOOD & WILLIAMSON ROYALSTAR AMETHYST

Well grown kitten who is well muscled and overall well balanced. Close lying coat, let down by coat colour which is quite dark and appears rather uneven at present. Balanced head, ears well set, she needs more nose break in profile, level chin. Large lustrous expressive eyes of good colour.

BLUE BURMESE NEUTER: MALE

1 PR BOB MAY ARABRAB TOHUNGA

Just ten months old and he has very good muscle and substance for his size. Overall well proportioned. Lovely short close coat, colour is very even and silvery sheen evident in desired areas. Well shaped head, nice line in profile, ears set well. Golden eyes are lustrous and he has such a lovely expression. I loved him.
