SOUTHERN COUNTIES CAT CLUB 30 January 2010 Judge: Perri HutchisonI would like to thank Brenda, Sue & the Committee for the kind invitation to judge at this friendly well run show with a good entry. Many thanks to my steward Gareth Dew, looking great for 2010 – he had lost loads of weight – congrats to him and Cath for doing so well! He handled the cats with great care, kept an eye on my paperwork and as usual was great company. Thanks Gareth, I look forward to the next time. Asian (Tiffanie) kitten1 & BOB JAMES’ INYANGA LAIRDOF FILANDRE 68 43dsq M (31.08.09)Red silver shaded tiffanie with burmese colour restriction. What a fabulous start to my day! Confident, cute little chap with super expression and who purred and cuddled under my chin – I could have just gone home with him in my pocket! Rounded top. Nice size ears well set with correct forward tilt. Short wide wedge, blunt muzzle. Eyes are expressive, set well apart, top lid slanting towards his nose, fuller, rounder lower lid, still changing in colour. Rounded brow. Excellent nose break. Straight nose, slightly receding chin, bite just level. Muscular young man of good weight. Slender legs and oval paws. Tail has rounded tip, just balances, plume still kittenish and needs to develop. Coat is of medium length and lies flat and close to his body, though is a fraction woolly over his haunches. Super ear tufts and ruff developing nicely. Very pale light tangerine markings around his face, on feet, and along spine line. Was extremely difficult to tell if he had a silver basecoat. The hall lighting was very yellow and there was no daylight lamp available. I did carry the little chap out to the results board area, where there was some natural light coming in, and it did make his coat look much better. Happy, purring little chap with stunning type. Will watch his progress with great interest. Brown Burmese Adult, Female1st CC Withheld MACOY’S MCMESE PRINCESS ANTASIA 27 F (9.8.7)Immature looking girl for her age.
