SOUTHERN COUTIES CAT CLUB SHOW – 30.1.10 Mrs Sally Tokens

Well done to Brenda and her team for a very nice show. I had a super day after the fraught journey in the morning with roads closed off where ever I seemed to go, but that is winter for you. My steward was John Blore who worked tirelessly as usual.

AC NON SELF PERSIAN PREMIER MALE;

GR PC; Peachey IGR PR CASHEL HEADBOY

golden lad who always has lots to say when you get him out of the pen. Coming up for seven years old. Short cobby body set low on the legs. Small well placed ears. Cheeks nice and full. Round eyes of a good emerald colour. Short broad nose. Level bite. Coat long and full with a nice depth of undercoat and showing a very warm apricot beautifully tipped with black. Tail well furnished and balances with the body. This was a very difficult decision between these two boys, both very nice.

RES GR PC; Abbott PR TAMOSAH FIREFLY

pewter just over two years old and another super lad. Excellent strength of bone and plenty of weight. Ears well positioned just a tiny bit open at the base. Well rounded skull. Good width to the cheeks. Short nose with a good stop and nice size leather. Brick red nose leather outlined with black. Large round eyes and a level bite. Coat long and full with a good undercoat. Tipping to the back heavier along the spine. Tail short and very well covered. Very well prepared coat with a silken texture.

AC NON SELF PERSIAN PREMIER FEMALE;

 GR PC; Sanders GR PR MYSTERE MAKING A SPLASH

tortie girl of three and a half years old. A sturdy lass with strong bone and plenty of substance. Tiny ears set low on the side of the head. Well developed skull. Cheeks full and round. Eyes large and open and of a very good copper. Short broad nose with a good stop. Level bite. Good distribution of red and black to the face and all the limbs very nicely broken. Tail quite full and well patched. Coat to the back with very nice patching of jet black and rich red. A very nice girl.

 RES GR PC; Clark CH & PR HONEYGEM ETERNAL FLAME

tortie smoke exotic who ran the winner close. Not yet five years old and a sturdy female with very good bone structure and lovely weight. Short cobby body set low on the legs. Ears well positioned just a tiny bit open at the base. Cheeks nicely rounded. Eyes large and open having a very good copper. Short broad nose with a good break and lovely size leather and nostrils. Skull nicely formed. Level bite. Coat of a very good length and texture, standing away from the body. Soft to touch with some undercoat present. Contrasts can be seen having an ash white undercoat. Lovely distribution of both colours to form the tortie pattern. Short tail nicely furnished.

AOV SLH PREMIER MALE;

GR PC; Newman GR PR DAIRYMAINE KASABIEN

red tabby maine coon just over three years old. Excellent strong bone with lovely substance and a rectangular body shape. Large ears set quite high with a good width apart and nice tufts. High set cheek bones with fairly full cheeks. Eyes of a slightly oblique aperture and set and green in colour. Slight concave curve at the nasal bridge. Square muzzle and a good breadth and depth to the chin. Level bite. Coat of a very good red with rich red markings. Well marked butterfly and oysters. Tail with profuse and flowing fur reaching the shoulders. Large paws which are well tufted. Well defined m to the face and lines from the corner of the eyes across the cheeks.

RES GR PC; Passfield-Taylor PR HAZELDOLLS PYEWACKETT

seal mitted ragdoll just approaching two years old. Strong bone and very good weight. Medium size ears which slightly tilt forward. Flat plane to the top of the head. Cheeks full and muzzle well formed. Gentle dip to the profile. Eyes with a slightly oblique shape and nice depth of blue colouring. Level bite. White chin and white mittens. Back legs white. Tabby markings to the head and a few rings to the tail. A small amount of shading to the body coat which was soft in texture and nicely prepared with some undercoat present. Tail balances with the body and is well furnished.

AOV SLH PREMIER FEMALE;

GR PC; Dorey PR NORACOON CHERRY BAKEWELL

tortie tabby and white maine coon of just over three years old and a very well developed female. Super strong bone and plenty of weight. Well positioned ears which were large in size and having small tufts. Cheeks fairly full and high set cheek bones. Lovely profile with a slight concave curve at the nasal bridge. Level bite. Square muzzle and nice breadth and depth to the chin. Gold colouring to the eyes which were of a slightly oblique aperture and set. White to the paws, chest and tummy and some white to the upper lips. Soft top coat with some undercoat. Vibrant colours of a very good red and black to form the tortie pattern with tabby markings throughout. Tail reaches the shoulders and is well furnished.

 AC TABBY, SMOKE OR CAMEO & WHITE ADULT;

1 IC & BOB White QUARTET HOUDINI

blue tabby and white of fifteen months old. Two patches of colour to the back and colour over the eyes and up to the ears. Fully coloured tail. Tabby markings can be seen in all the coloured areas. Short cobby body set low on the legs. Tiny ears which are well positioned. Cheeks full and round. Large open eyes of a very good copper colour. Short broad nose with a nice stop and good size leather and nostrils. Level bite. Excellent show preparation to a very long and full coat. Gleaming white.

TORTOISESHELL COLOURPOINT KITTEN;

 1 Taylor CONFETICAT JELLY BEAN

blue cream baby of seven months old. Short compact body which is set low on the legs. Very good weight. Tiny ears which are set low on the side of the head. Large round eyes of a medium blue colour. Short snub nose with a very good stop and lovely leather. Full cheeks. Skull rounded. Very full coat which was soft to touch and free from any shading. Pale blue to the points with the mask not yet fully coloured and a minimal amount of cream at present. Excellent show preparation.

BLUE NEUTER; PC WITHHELD

1 Heath CH SHIMBA JUBILATION

coming up to four years old and a very nicely developed boy with excellent strong bone and very good substance. Short cobby body. Ears small in size and well positioned. Skull nicely rounded. Cheeks full. Bold eyes of nice copper colouring. Short broad nose. Acceptable bite. Coat very long with a good depth of undercoat. Unfortunately today I had to withhold as he was in need of a lot more preparation to the tummy. Short full tail. Pale blue coat which was sound and even to the roots.

BOB; Smith GR CH & PR TRACYLOOE SONIC

 another very impressive lad who will soon be seven years old and looking very good for his age. Short compact body set low on the legs. Very good substance. Well balanced type with tiny well set ears and a nicely formed skull. Cheeks full and round. Large open eyes of a good copper colour. Short broad nose. Level bite. Coat long and very full with a super depth of undercoat. Pale blue in colour and sound to the roots. Large rounded paws. Super show grooming.

CREAM NEUTER;

1 PC & BOB Payne CH PEMPAKAT ANDANTE

 seventeen months old and another strapping lad with sound bone and very good weight. Long tufts around small well positioned ears. Cheeks of a good width and a short broad nose with a break. Level bite. Very good copper colouring to well shaped eyes. Excellent length to the coat which had a very good depth of undercoat. Pale in colour and sound all over. Very well prepared. Short full brush.

AC SIBERIAN ADULT, KITTEN OR NEUTER;

MERIT Brown LESTUITSA ANTONIN

black, large impressive lad and not yet a year old. Lovely short broad wedge with rounded contours. Slight concave curve at the nasal bridge. Level bite. Low set cheek bones. Oval shape eyes which are green in colour. Large lad for his age. Short neck and beginning to become muscular. Tail well balanced with the body. Medium length coat with the undercoat still developing. Gloss to the top coat. Jet black colour which is sound to the roots, just the odd white hair visible. Lovely temperament. In tip top condition with expressive eyes and a pleasing expression.

MERIT; Brown SILKIESTAR BELKA’S VISTA

red silver tabby with a medium red to the coat and silver evident. Rounded contours to a fairly short broad wedge. Ears set well apart and of a medium size. Showing a rounded muzzle. Eyes a touch small and green in colour. Nice rectangular body shape. Fairly heavy in build and starting to muscle up. Tail reaches the shoulder blade. Dense undercoat not yet showing. Quite a substantial top coat. A few guard hairs. Medium red to the coat with some tabby markings to the flanks. An m to the forehead. Odd tabby marking to the front legs. Very laid back in super condition and developing well.

MERIT Parks-Young & Leonard-Smith MIAKIRA PAPVER DULCE

blue tortie tabby. Very pretty female with lovely coat colours. Slight concave curve at the nasal bridge. High set cheek bones, Ears rounded at the tip and medium in size. Eyes well shaped and green in colour. Medium body length with a short neck and still quite young so yet to muscle up. Well furnished tail reaching the shoulder blades. Medium length coat already showing quite a dense undercoat present. Small ruff developing. Tabby markings evident. Very good blue and cream tot eh coat soft in colour. Super condition. A lovely little girl with an expression that is pleasing to the eye.

AC PERSIAN NOVICE ADULT;

1 Haynes ANSTEYN IAMRUBY LOOKATME

red girl of nearly a year old. Very good eye colour and well balanced type with small ears. Short cobby body. Rich red to the coat which is sound and even to the roots and very well groomed. Short full tail.

 2 Brown & Motti BRONTTI HOLLY RUNAWAY HILL

 chocolate colourpoint not yet a year old with an excellent clear and soft body coat. Very good colours to all the points which were well matched. Small amount of shading to the muzzle at present. Medium blue eyes and a short nose. 3 Forster POPUP SALTAN PEPPER black and white exotic.

AC PERSIAN SPECIAL LIMIT ADULT;

1 Wilson CH TYTHERTON CANT BUY ME LOVE

 blue tortie and white of fourteen months old. Three patches of cream to her back. Fully coloured tail and colour above the eyes and up to the ears. Short full tail. Pastel colours set off by gleaming white. Very good type with large expressive eyes of a deep copper.

 2 Sanders CHERMICICAN BORN TO BOOGIE

 cream and white lad coming up for three years old. Large well developed boy. Colour to the back legs and colour to the face. Fully coloured tail. Cream chin. Deep copper eye colouring to large round eyes. Very good bone and weight. Groomed to the last hair.

AC PERSIAN KITTEN;

1 Rignall RIGNOLLA FRANKIE

brown tabby and white lad of four months old. Excellent little baby for type and coat. Short nose and large round deep copper eyes. Short nose with a good stop and large leather and nostrils. Strong black markings on a warm copper agouti ground colour. Short tail well furnished with the odd ring. A real cute baby.

2 Basey-Fisher BIBOUKATZ XOTIK DIVA

blue exotic of five months old. Excellent short coby body set low on the legs. Very good type with a short nose, level bite. Large round eyes of a very good blue. Pale body coat which was soft to touch. Coat of an excellent length and texture, standing away from the body. Short well covered tail.

3 Nelson ADINOLO MARMELSTEIN SASKIA

red and white bi colour.

AV SLH MAIDEN KITTEN;

1 Prowting EISERBLEW MORPHEUS

seal bi colour ragdoll of six months old. Very well grown and with substance. Medium size ears which slightly tilt forward. Good cheeks just a tiny bit pinched in the muzzle at present. Well shaped eyes of a nice blue. Small spot of colour to the back left hock. Symmetrically marked inverted v to the face. A small amount of shading to the body coat at present. Very nice youngster.

2 Finch SNOWWITCH SUNNY JIM

seal birman of four months old. Medium blue eye colour. Well positioned ears and a good profile. Coat just lacking in density at the present time, but that will come, clear and soft. Tiny bit pinched in the muzzle. Scalloped gloves with the socks just a touch high but even. Gauntlets well matched. Lightly furnished tail which balances. Nice seal brown to all the points.
