SOUTH RIBBLE PET CAT CLUB SHOW 2009

Thank you to Carol and Pat for my invitation to judge at this excellent show. Although a long journey it was well worth it for the amount of cuddles I received from these lovely cats. I thoroughly enjoyed my day and had some very difficult decisions to make.

CLASS 2 IMPERIAL RIBBLE GRAND MASTER CAT SH

1st & IGMC to Kidd’s GMC ALFRED

A handsome boy in excellent condition which completely belied his 11 years. Lovely tabby markings and crisp, clean white fur, a tabby tail and white shoulders. He had expressive large yellow eyes and very long whiskers. He was a good weight with a glossy coat and thoroughly deserved his Imperial certificate.

CLASS 8a TABBY SHORTHAIR ADULT MALE

1st RIBBLE MC Hill’s TOFFEE

A substantial tabby boy with superb tabby markings and a lovely dense coat. He had fine long whiskers and expressive round yellow eyes. He was in excellent condition, especially for his age of 8 years. He was a little apprehensive out of his pen but was very relaxed and happy once back inside.

2nd Porter’s TIGGER

A friendly young lad, a bit nervous out of the pen but very happy and alert once back inside. He had a lovely crisp coat with a striking tabby pattern and golden markings behind the ears and expressive yellowy green eyes.

The following cats were considered for BIC only

BIC Stewart’s MC BOBBIT

This was a lovely old chap who was very gentle and just loved a cuddle. He was in excellent condition and looked like a fine young buck rather than nearly 12 years old. He had lovely soft fur with super tabby markings, striking green eyes and a sweet expressive face – an absolute gentle giant.

Kidd’s MC BILLY

Another lovely gentle lad. He had crisp, clear tabby markings with a distinctive M on his forehead. He had lovely long whiskers and eyebrows. He was presented in lovely condition and it was a very close call. A very happy chap!

CLASS 8b TABBY SHORTHAIR ADULT FEMALE

1st RIBBLE MC Dejak’s MILLY

A young alert female with a striking tabby coat pattern with clear black stripes on the tail. She had clear yellowy green expressive eyes and was presented well. A lovely girl in excellent condition with a lovely temperament.

CLASS 28a GINGER OR GINGER & WHITE, TORTIE OR TORTIE & WHITE SH MALE
1st RIBBLE MC & BIC Griffith’s CURIOUS GEORGE

An absolute gorgeous, chunky lad of obvious British type. He had a round cheerful face, with sparkling, clear amber eyes, neat small ears, long whiskers and an alert, cheeky expression. His coat is glossy and a vibrant red colour. A sturdy boy, in excellent condition and a lovely cuddly temperament. If he had been slightly smaller he would have been in my pocket and on his way home with me.

CLASS 28b GINGER OR GINGER & WHITE, TORTIE OR TORTIE & WHITE SH FEMALE

1st RIBBLE MC Atherton’s KUSICHASKI KITTEN SIZED

Elegant cream female of oriental type. Good condition with lean elegant body and cream spotted tabby coat and almond shaped eyes. She was a lovely chatty girl who was a little nervous out of the pen, but very responsive one returned.

The following cat was considered for BIC only
