REPORT ON THE SUFFOLK & NORFOLK SHOW 2009

Congratulations to Helen, Sean and Sue on another super show. My grateful thanks to David Denny for all his help and gentle handling of the exhibits. I thought the standard was generally high which made judging very pleasurable.

FOREIGN IMPERIAL GRAND PREMIER: MALE IMP GR PR

BANDY IMP GR PR TROIKA LE CORSAIRE 16a

Well known Russian boy, lovely overall structure and head shape, he also holds his ears very well. Very good dense coat is clear blue. Such a handsome fellow.

RES ANDERSON-KEEBLE GR PR SANTILLO FEROMESES MERCURY 38s

Lovely well structured boy of very good type, lovely coat is clear silver with well defined pattern. Well shaped head and ears, gooseberry green eyes, he has a lovely face and expression. Equally deserving of the top prize so congratulations on becoming Best Foreign Neuter.

A very stylish girl of excellent type. Lovely close silky coat has such an attractive colour. Well shaped head, ears set well apart, very good profile line, large expressive eyes. A well balanced exhibit.

RES BANDY UK GR PR TROIKA ODETTE 16a

Lovely old lady looking very good today, her coat feels really nice, firm muscle to body and in lovely condition for her age. Typical head, prominent pads, ears set vertical, green expressive eyes.

PERSIAN TORTIE OR CHOC TORTIE & WHITE KITTEN: FEMALE

1 BOB HOWARD PURRDREAMZ TOUCH OFCLASS 12 1

Lovely kitten, cobby and well proportioned. Super coat with frill, beautifully prepared, bright shades of red and shiny black fur with pure white underbody and feet. Round head, neat well fitting ears, full muzzle, tidy bite, large round orange eyes. A real sweetie.

PERSIAN BLUE NEUTER: MALE

1 BOB DAVEY GR PR BRONABA SONGSUNG BLUE

Large mature boy of excellent type and muscle. His coat is well groomed but seasonal, generally sound but shows a fawnish tinge around his neck (has he been sunbathing, or more likely cuddled up to a warm radiator!) Lovely broad head, small well fitting ears, large round deep orange eyes, lovely expression.

ASIAN TIFFANIE ADULT: MALE

1 CC COLGAN RUSHBROOKE CHICO MORENO 68 45

Elegant lad, rather shy and performed better inside his pen. Well muscled and well balanced. Seasonal length to coat, very nice texture and showing very good well defined ticking, nice head and facial markings. Head has short wedge, nice line in profile, well furnished ears set wide, Large wide-open expressive eyes.

ASIAN TIFFANIE ADULT: FEMALE

1 CC BOB REAVILL ADATESH AMARKATE 68 43sq

Stylish youngster of ten months, well grown and well muscled. Very good coat has silky texture, ruff around her neck, very good brush, good shading with clear silver base. Head well shaped, large ears set well apart, nice line in profile, large full expressive eyes.

SORRELL ABYSSINIAN KITTEN: MALE

1 BOB DAVISON PUSSINI REDOLFO

Well structured kitten, lithe and muscular, tail and limbs well proportioned. Short close lying coat, well ticked in chocolate on apricot base, well defined markings, very nice facial markings. Gently contoured top of head, large ears well set, slight muzzle indentation, slight profile break. Wide-set large expressive eyes. He has a lovely ‘feel’ about him and a very nice temperament.

BROWN SPOTTED BENGAL KITTEN: FEMALE

1 BOB JOHNSON & HEYL ADNIOSH PURRDYKATZ AURORA

Promising youngster of very nice type, well muscled, super coat texture and clear pattern throughout, showing nice glittered appearance. Head shaping up well, broad nose has slightly puffed leather, broad muzzle, wide canines. Large oval eyes are so expressive.

RED BURMESE ADULT: MALE

1 CC WILLMONT ADVERSANE ANGUS

Well structured boy nicely muscled body on well proportioned limbs, very good tail. Short close coat, very nice texture and colour. Well shaped head, ears set wide, well defined profile, lustrous eyes of good colour.

2 MACOY CH MACOYS NEW YEARS EVE

Compact boy, good muscle and well proportioned tail and limbs. Short coat has good colour, texture is seasonal and he has probably been a busy boy. Head is gently contoured, ears set well apart, very good line in profile, eye colour is quite good. I have seen him looking better.

RED BURMESE ADULT: FEMALE

There were very nice girls in this class and it was not easy to place the last three.

1 CC LEDGER KYMIAN SUSANNAH

Well muscled girl of very good type and well balanced by tail and limbs, lovely short coat has close silky texture and bright colouring. Well shaped head, short wedge, ears set well apart, very good profile line, large lustrous eyes show lovely expresson. An attractive exhibit.

2 MATTHEWS KATCHYN ORANGE BLOSSOM

Well grown and well structured girl, her tail and limbs are in proportion. Short close coat has very nice silky texture, warm tangerine colouring, showing broken necklace. Very good head, short wedge, ears set well apart, well defined line in profile, large lustrous golden eyes, she has a very nice ‘feel’ about her.

3 KEMPE OAKENSHIELD ANNA KARENINA

Well muscled young lady with very good tail and limbs in proportion. Short sleek tangerine coat, silky texture and satin-like sheen across her body. Her head has very good shape above eyes but at present the muzzle needs time to fill out, very good line in profile. Large expressive eyes of good shape show nice expression.

4 DELL KUPRO RED SASSAFRAS

Youngster who is at the adolescent stage at present, muscular rangy body, very good tail shape and length, elegant limbs with neat oval paws. Lovely short sleek coat has satin-like sheen, light tangerine colouring is very clear. Gently rounded contours to head, very good profile line, growing into her ears which are set well apart. Large lustrous eyes of very good colour. She just needs time to mature.

BOB FORTESCUE CH BLOOMERS BELCHAMPS BARON

Young boy very well structured, lovely close silky coat. Well shaped head, short wedge, lovely eyes and expression.

CHOCOLATE BURMESE KITTEN: MALE

1 BOB KENNARD CLARKESFIELD HARRY POTTER

Well grown kitten feeling solid and muscular, well proportioned limbs, very good tail. His coat is even and has warmth to the medium chocolate colour. Head well shaped, very nice profile, very good ears, nice eyes and expression. A lovely boy.

2 HALL MINOTOSA ATHOS

Young kitten developing well and I think he shows promise. Neat and well proportioned, firm body. Light chocolate coat, slightly deeper colour on mask. Very good head, ears set wide, nice line in profile, wide-set golden eyes, he has a lovely face and expression.

CHOCOLATE BURMESE KITTEN: FEMALE

1 HALL MINOTOSA ARAMISA

Delightful kitten, litter sister to Athos and also very neat and sweet. Good substance to body, well proportioned tail and limbs. Very nice colour is pale chocolate and very even. Well shaped head, nice profile, expressive eyes, colour good. Promising kitten.

2 BRABNER ROSEAMBUR FLIGHTY MISS

Well muscled girl a little rangy at present, firm limbs, good tail. Very nice coat of warm even colour and silky texture. Her head has very good shape above eye level, muzzle needs to shape-up, ears set well apart. Nice eyes show very good colour.

BLUE BURMESE NEUTER: MALE

Well balanced young boy who is nicely muscled. Well proportioned tail and limbs. Short close coat of very good colour, showing silvery sheen. Well shaped head, ears well placed, nice profile line , very good eye colour. He has a lovely face and expression.

BLUE BURMESE NEUTER: FEMALE

Lovely girl of very nice type and well balanced. Very good coat texture and colour, nice silvery sheen around head and paws. Lovely shape to head, medium ears set well apart, well defined break and pleasing profile. Lustrous eyes, colour good, she has a lovely face and expression.

BOB WEALE GR PR ROSSIKHAN BLUESAN TWOS

Well structured boy who has super type and very good coat. Very good head and ear set, large lustrous eyes; he also has such a lovely face and expression.
