SUFFOLK AND NORFOLK CAT CLUB SHOW

16.5.09 Mrs Sally Tokens

Thank you to Helen and the team for asking me to their show. I had a very enjoyable day with some lovely exhibits to judge. My steward was Susan Luvaglia who as always did a wonderful job in looking after me and the cats.

AOC SELF COLOURPOINT ADULT;

BOB Brown CH ADVILO DOODLESHOES

lilac lad of nearly three years old. Superb bone and excellent weight a real strapping lad. Short cobby body which was set low on the legs. Tiny ears which are placed low. Well rounded skull. Cheeks nice and full. Short broad nose with a super break. Level bite. Round eyes of a medium blue colouring. Very full coat which had a super undercoat and was clear and soft in texture. Soft pinkish grey lilac points which were all very well matched in the depth of colour. Short very well furnished tail. Small amount of shading to the muzzle. Lovely lad with a very good temperament.

TORTIE AND WHITE NEUTER;

1 CC & BOB Pettit RIASCATZ LARA CROFT

only just over a year old and a lovely lass with sound bone and lovely substance. Ears well positioned just a little open at the base. Skull well developed. Good width to the cheeks. Large round eyes of a very good copper. Short broad nose with a nice break and good size leather and nostrils. Level bite. Colour to the back left limb and two or three large red patches to the back with a couple of smaller black patches. White to the cheeks and a white blaze. Small amount of undercoat. Vibrant red and black patching. Short well patched and furnished tail. A little wriggler.

BI COLOURED NEUTER;

1 PC & BOB Carr CH LAFREBELLA GRUCHO

red and white of nearly four years old. A very impressive lad who had been beautifully groomed. Colour to all the legs. Two red areas to the back. White to the cheeks and on the forehead. Very long full coat of a rich red which was set off by gleaming white. Lovely depth of undercoat and soft in texture. Short cobby body which was set low on the legs. Tiny ears placed low on the side of the head. Skull nicely rounded. Cheeks full. Eyes round and of a very good copper. Short nose with a lovely stop. Level bite. Short full brush which was fully coloured.

2 Williams PR RIASCATZ SIMPLY RED

red and white of three years old. Strong bone and very good substance. Well set ears which were small in size. Skull rounded. Cheeks showing a good width. Eyes large and open and of a good copper colouring. Short broad nose. Level bite. Colour to the front right and back left limb. White patch to the back and white to the cheeks with a blaze also. Very full coat with a lot of undercoat. Nicely prepared and soft to touch. Fully coloured tail. Medium red which was sound and even in all the coloured areas.

3 Corcoran PIZZACATA VIKING

red and white lad of nearly six years old. Strong lad with very good bone and substance. Ears well positioned just a tiny bit open at the base. Skull nicely developed. Eyes round and of a nice copper colour. Short broad nose. Level bite. Lovely width to nice full cheeks. Colour patches to each of the limbs. White to the nose. Predominately red in colour which was medium red in colour and sound and even all over. Coat long and full with a very good undercoat. Soft texture and well prepared. Ruff to frame the face. Fully coloured tail which was very well furnished.

4 Palmer PR QUARTET CHANCE ENCOUNTER

cream and white lad of nearly six years old. Strong bone and lovely weight. Ears nicely positioned. Skull well developed. Cheeks nice and full. Good eye shape and nice depth of copper colour. Short broad nose with a nice stop. Colour areas to each of the limbs. Full white collar and a white patch to the back. White cheeks and blaze. Small amount of undercoat with the coat along the spine feeling rather harsh today. Pale cream areas with clean white. Very nicely groomed. Fully coloured tail. A very strong class with some excellent exhibits all of them were worthy of the certificate and a real pleasure to handle.

PEWTER NEUTER;

1 PC & BOB Abbott PR TAMOSAH FIREFLY

not yet two years old and showing excellent strong bone and plenty of substance. A real substantial lad. Pleasing expression and well balanced type. Rounded skull. Small well set ears. Cheeks of a good width. Eyes large and round and showing a very good copper colour. Short broad nose. Level bite. Brick red nose leather nicely outlined with black. Coat long and full with an excellent depth of undercoat soft in texture and very well prepared. Very good tipping to the coat which was of a good black and covering the body being nice and even and as the required standard. Tail short and full also well tipped. Feet lightly marked with black to the paws.

GOLDEN NEUTER;

BOB Peachey IGR PR CASHEL HEADBOY

nearly six years old and another well built lad. Very good bone and nice weight. Not too happy but we did manage to have him out of the pen long enough to judge him. He just likes to make his point. Well groomed coat with a rich apricot base colour already present and well tipped with black. Very full brush. Lovely head shape with small ears set low on the side of the head. Skull well developed. Cheeks full and round. Bold eyes of a good emerald colouring which was showing a good depth of colour considering his age. Short broad nose with a nice break. Level bite.

AC PERSIAN NOT WON A CC OR IC ADULT;

1 Prowse SUPURRNOVA PEARLSA SINGER

brown tabby and white lass of ten months old. Short cobby body with super substance at this age. Small well set ears. Skull nicely rounded. Cheeks full and round. Large eyes of a very good copper colouring. Short broad nose with a good stop and large leather and nostrils. Level bite. Front right limb solid white. Patch of colour to the nape of the neck. Patch over the right eye. Tail fully coloured and nicely covered. Very good coat length and texture, standing away from the body. Soft to touch and with a nice depth of undercoat. Good tabby markings visible in the patched areas.

AC PERSIAN NON SELF BREEDERS KITTEN;

1 Brown ACRESWAY GUCCI

lilac colourpoint of nearly nine months old. A very strong female with lovely weight and bone. Just standing a little tall on the legs today. Ears well positioned just a tad open at the base. Skull nicely rounded. Cheeks full. Eyes large and of a medium colour. Short broad nose with a good break. Level bite. Clear body coat with a nice soft textured undercoat, standing away from the body. Soft pinkish grey lilac points with just a few ghost tabby markings to the tail at present.

2 Howard PURRDREAMZ TOUCH OFCLASS

tortie and white girl of eight months old. Showing approximately two thirds colour. White to the legs and muzzle and a white blaze. Well patched coat with vibrant black and red areas just lacking in undercoat at present. Soft in texture and well prepared. Medium size bone structure with adequate weight. Ears well set just a little open at the base. Skull nicely developed. Cheeks filling out well. Round eyes of a good copper colour. Short broad nose and a level bite. Tail fully coloured and patched all the way along.

AC PERSIAN DEBUTANTE KITTEN;

1 Walker TINABZE WHITE DOVE

blue and white girl of eight months old. Well developed girl with good bone and weight. Well set ears of a small size. Skull nicely rounded. Cheeks full and round eyes of a good copper just a touch small in size. Short broad nose with a good break and lovely size leather and nostrils. Coat just lacking undercoat today and feeling a little harsh along the spine. White limbs with a blue patch to the nape of the neck and a small blue patch over the left eye. Tail fully coloured and balances.

AC PERSIAN LIMIT KITTEN;

1 Ediker LAZANE CLASSIQUE

orange eyed white of six months old. Sound bone and good weight for her age. Small ears which are set low. Skull nicely developed. Eyes large and showing a very good copper. Short broad nose with a good stop. Acceptable bite. Very long and full coat with a nice undercoat present. Clean and white and groomed to perfection. Tail well furnished.

2 Weatherley PICWICK HAPPY THOUGHTS

blue cream girl of six months old. Strong lass with a short cobby body set low on the legs. Skull rounded. Ears small in size and well positioned. Cheeks filling out nicely. Level bite. Round eyes of a very good copper colour still coming through. Short nose with a good break and large leather and nostrils. Coat nicely intermingled with a medium blue and pale cream. Both colours to the face and the limbs. Short full tail. Very well prepared.

AC PERSIAN SELF NEUTER;

1 Boyes GR CH & GR PR JERVO BLACKICE

black lad of nearly six years old. Strapping chap with excellent sound bone and very good substance. Tiny ears which are well set. Skull nicely formed. Cheeks full and round. Bold eyes of a good copper colour. Level bite. Short broad nose. Coat long and full and very well groomed. Soft in texture and jet black all over. Short full brush.

2 Davey GR PR BRONABA SONGSUNGBLUE

blue of nearly seven years old and another strapping lad. Excellent bone and weight. Large tufted paws. Coat today just showing a few darker guard hairs but of a nice pale blue colouring otherwise. Tail lightly furnished. Well developed skull. Cheeks full and round. Eyes large and of a good copper. Short broad nose. Level bite.

1 Carr CH LAFREBELLA GRUCHO red and white bi colour.

2 Carr PR LAFREBELLA INNOCENT

blue tortie and white just over two years old. White collar and patch to the back. Coloured areas to all the limbs. Some white to the muzzle and on the nose. Pale blue and pastel cream patches sound to the roots in colour. Long full coat which had been beautifully prepared. Silken texture. Well balanced type with ears nicely set. Skull rounded. Cheeks full and a short broad nose. Level bite.

AC PERSIAN JUNIOR NEUTER;

1 Tonks GR CH ZENDIQUE ATZAR ISBORN

blue tabby exotic with excellent strong bone and plenty of substance. Small ears placed low on the side of the head. Skull rounded. Cheeks of a good width. Short broad nose with a lovely break and nice size leather and nostrils. Level bite. Bold eyes of a very good copper. Coat of a very good length and texture and standing away from the body. Soft with a nice depth of undercoat. Tail well covered and balances with the body. Beautifully marked coat.

lilac birman lad of nine months old. Strong boy who is well grown for his age with lovely bone and substance. Medium size ears which are well set. Cheeks full and a slight dip in the profile. Eyes almost round and showing a very good blue colour. Level bite. Well developed muzzle. Clear body coat with a soft texture and nice undercoat. All the points well matched in the depth of colour. Scalloped gloves, socks even, gauntlets level I would have preferred them a touch longer for perfection. Tail reaching the shoulder blades.

2 Mlynek & Hayward MLYWARD MUNCHKIN

blue birman not quite a year old and showing very good bone and lovely substance. Excellent temperament and a pleasure to handle. Well set ears of a medium size. Cheeks full and the muzzle well formed. Good eye shape and lovely depth of blue present. Medium length nose with a slight dip in profile. Level bite. Clear body coat with a good undercoat and silken texture. Medium blue to all the points. Well furnished tail.

3 Dickerson GR CH TORMIST CHOCACHINO seal tabby birman.

AV SLH VISITORS ADULT MALE;

1 Hamilton LADYDOLL STUDMUFFIN

blue bi colour ragdoll almost a year old. Superb bone and very good weight. Medium size ears which are well positioned and slightly tilt forward. Flat plane. Cheeks full and muzzle nicely formed. Slightly oblique eyes of a nice blue. Very good profile with a gentle dip. Level bite. White to the legs and a symmetrically marked inverted v to the face. Silken texture to the coat. Tail very well covered and in proportion to the body length.

2 Hamilton CH ADATELO PURRBLUEBUBBLE

blue colourpoint ragdoll just over a year old another very well built lad with excellent bone and weight. Well set ears which are medium in size and slightly tilt forward. Flat plane to the top of the head. Cheeks full and a good muzzle. Lovely profile with a gentle dip. Level bite. Small amount of undercoat to the body which was soft in texture and clear. Blue to the points all very well matched in the depth of colour. Well furnished tail.

3 Barletta UK IGR CH COONTASTIC LUIGI cream silver tabby and white maine coon.

1 Finch CH SNOWWITCH KINGDOMOFSUMMER

blue birman lass of nearly two years old. Very good bone and lovely substance. Medium size ears which are well set. Cheeks fairly full and muzzle nicely formed. Eyes almost round and showing a nice blue colouring. Level bite. Medium length nose with a slight dip in profile. Gloves well marked, socks even, gauntlets broad and even I would have liked them a touch longer for perfection. Almost clear body coat which is soft in texture and having a small amount of undercoat. Good tail.

2 Saville ISHCUS MELISA

silver classic tabby and white maine coon of a year old. Large ears which are set quite high with a good width apart. Cheeks a touch narrow. Eyes with a slightly oblique aperture and set and light gold in colour. Nice profile with a slight concave curve at the nasal bridge. Square muzzle. Level bite. Just lacking a little in the breadth and depth to the chin. Small amount of undercoat. Coat of varying lengths. White to the paws and the chest. Tail reaching the shoulder blades and is well covered.

3 Copestake CH POLLYMANDIANT JO EMILY blue birman.

1 Harris ALEXANDRITE ILYANAMENTOBE

brown tabby and white Siberian of nearly a year old. Very good bone and plenty of substance. Showing well set ears and very good rounded contours to the head shape. Eyes of a green colour and slightly oval shaped with a rounded lower line. Low set cheek bones. Slight concave curve at the nasal bridge. Level bite. Very dense undercoat which was soft in texture and a coarser top coat. Spot of white to the right front limb. Tail broad at the base and tapering at the tip reaching the shoulder blades and very well covered. Very pleasing exhibit.

2 Davies RAGSHAVEN SONNYS SUNAMAGIC

blue bi colour ragdoll not quite a year old. Very good bone and lovely weight. Ears of a medium size and slightly tilt forward. Flat plane. Cheeks full and muzzle nicely formed. Eyes with a slightly oblique shape and good blue colour. Level bite. Very good profile with a gentle dip. White patch to the nape of the neck and white to the limbs. Soft coat texture with a small amount of undercoat at present. Tail nicely covered and balances with the body. A very nice lass.
