SUPREME CAT SHOW – 21.11.09 Mrs Sally Tokens

I would like to thank everyone concerned for a very enjoyable show. I had a wonderful entry with some stunning exhibits who were a pleasure to judge. My stewards were Chris & Susan Luvaglia and Barbara Davidson, thanks guys you were a tower of strength and I do hope you enjoyed it.

AOV SLH IMP GRAND CHAMPION MALE;

UK GR CC Taylor IGR CH BRIZLINCOAT BEAU GESTE

usual Somali just over five years old. Super lad with a very good coat colour and length of coat. Moderate wedge with superb gently curving contours. Slight break in profile. Large ears well placed and with good tufts. Strong bone and excellent weight. Firm and quite muscular body. Long legs with lovely oval shaped paws. Close lying coat to the spine with a very good warm apricot undercoat and very nicely ticked with black. Strong black colour to the heels. Wonderful personality and a pleasure to handle. A very nice lad and worthy winner.

2 Baker GR CH ALANTRIS DANNYS BOY

auburn Turkish van lad of three years old. Large well build lad with a nicely balanced head and good markings. Nice broad wedge with lovely cheeks and a good muzzle. Level bite. Good profile with a barely perceptible dip. Good ear set. Strong bone and lovely length of body, sturdy legs with large rounded paws and some small tufts present. Good thumb prints to the top of the head and a patch of colour to the left cheek. Excellent temperament and loving all the attention and in very good condition. Unlucky to meet the winner.

usual Somali girl of six years old. Sweet lady with a moderate wedge and expressive green eyes. Lovely head shape with large ears having small tufts and well placed. Slight nose break to the nose. Level bite. Nice length of body and adequate weight. Elegant legs with oval paws and small tufts. Limited amount of undercoat, soft and close lying along the spine. Small ruff starting to form. Smiling face. Lovely black colour to the heels. Good ticking and warm apricot developing. Marvellous temperament and easy to handle.

2 Zech GR CH FINEARTE FLOWERBELL AKIRA

blue Somali of two years old. Very good blue to the coat and nicely balanced type with well set eyes. Large ears set well apart with no tufts. Oval shaped eyes of a green colour. Slight break to the nose with a very minimal bump. Nice length of body and adequate weight. Fairly firm but still developing. Long tail, lightly furnished. Soft and fine coat lacking in undercoat at present with colour still coming through. Very nicely ticked and good depth of colour to the heels. Another girl with a very good temperament. Very inquisitive and a joy to handle.

AC TURKISH VAN CHAMPION FEMALE;

just over four years old and looking very well developed for her age a nice mature head. Moderately broad wedge and a good muzzle. Oval eyes of an amber colour. Profile with a barely perceptible dip and broad nose. Excellent strength of bone and wonderful substance. Sturdy legs and well muscled for a female. Rounded tufted paws. Coat silken in texture with a good depth of undercoat and not woolly. Clean and white with good markings auburn in colour to the head. Fully coloured tail which balances. Heart racing but very relaxed and a pleasure to handle. Strong impressive lass.

2 Hoyland CH PERNIC DREAM KATIA

two year old lass with lovely width to the cheeks and a well formed muzzle. Alert expression. Good broad wedge with a barely perceptible dip in profile. Fairly large ears which are well positioned. Oval eyes. Very good bone and lovely substance. Sturdy legs and quite a firm body which is fairly well muscled for a female. Colour above the eyes and up to the ears. Colour to near the base of the tail and a fully coloured tail. Spot of colour to the right side of the neck behind the ear. Soft coat texture with a good undercoat coming through. Lovely temperament and condition.

USUAL SOMALI CHAMPION FEMALE;

GR CC Hines CH STACYM QUIDDITY

three years old. Well developed female with striking warm apricot undercoat set off by deep black ticking. Super gently curving contours and a moderate broad wedge. Slight break in profile. Almond eyes and amber colour. Excellent bone and very good weight. Firm body and very elegant with long legs and oval paws. Very good black ticking. Excellent undercoat and close lying along the spine. Super texture. Only three years old and very well developed for her age. Nicely presented and easy to handle. In tip top condition. Very nice girl.

2 Hines CH STACYM TANTA LITE TEMPTRESS

only just over a year old and still quite a youngster, nicely developed for her age but still to mature a little more for perfection. Gently curving contours to a moderate wedge. Slight dip in profile. Level bite. Expressive eyes almond in shape and green colour. Firm body with very good bone and nice weight. Long legs with nice oval paws and small tufts. Tail balances with the body. Small amount of undercoat with the warm apricot colour coming. Soft texture and close lying. Ruff beginning to form to frame the face. A little bit of a wriggler but settled once on the table. Heels well coloured and in good condition.

3 Watts CH BRIZLINCOAT DÉJÀ VU

just over a year old. Lovely black ticking which stands out and a very good coat colour developing. Large ears which are well set. Well formed muzzle. Gently curving contours. Excellent profile with a slight dip. Well shaped eyes green in colour. Superb bone and just looking a little adolescent at present and I would like a little more weight. Fairly soft coat with a small amount of undercoat, warm apricot colour coming. Lightly furnished tail which reaches the shoulders. Good depth of black to the heels. A very nice female who just needs a little more time to develop to her full potential.

not quite a year old but well developed for her age. Nicely balanced head. Gently curving contours to a moderate wedge. Nicely formed muzzle. Almond eyes green in colour. Just a slight nose break. Strong bone and excellent weight. Very good length of body. Long legs with oval paws and lightly tufted. Tail reaches the shoulders and is full. Coat close lying along the spine. Excellent texture. Very well ticked and good apricot undercoat. Dense black to the heels. Well prepared coat, soft in texture along the spine. In superb condition and relaxed on the table. A lovely youngster.

SORREL SOMALI CHAMPION MALE;

two years old and a very large well developed lad. Strong head and nicely balanced type. Almond shaped eyes of a green colour. Lovely cheeks. Moderate broad wedge with gently rounded contours. Level bite. Excellent strong bone and a very good substance. Long legs with oval paws. Tail lightly covered and balances. Fairly soft texture to the coat with a minimal amount of undercoat. Very good warm colour still coming through. Small ruff to frame the face. Quite talkative and happier on the table. A large impressive lad. Well done.

chocolate Somali just over nine months old. Smiling face with gently curving contours. Very good chocolate colour to the coat. Rounded muzzle. Large ears which are well positioned. Moderate wedge and a slight dip in profile. Level bite. Amber colouring to almond eyes. Very good bone structure and adequate weight. Long legs with tufted oval paws. Soft and close lying along the spine. Very well ticked and showing nice length especially to the flanks. Lovely chocolate to the heels already present. Very good temperament. Super condition. Very pleasing young female.

2 Griffin ADUISH SERENITY

fawn Somali of four years old. Strong female who is well grown and very well developed. Well positioned ears large in size. Expressive eyes of an almond shape. Very slight dip in profile. Good cheeks. Level bite. Strong bone and firm body. Oval shaped paws on long legs. Tail reaches the shoulders and is lightly covered. Just feeling a touch harsh in texture to the coat along the spine and with a minimal amount of undercoat. Not too happy today. We managed to have her out of the pen just long enough to assess. Good fawn colour ticking to the coat.

SILVER SOMALI;

GR CC; Horsley CH DOM PERIGNON SILVER ZA SVOBODY

usual silver of four years old. Most definitely a silver. Very striking black ticking with a lovely clear undercoat. Strong head with very good type and nice moderate broad wedge. Slight break in profile. Well shaped eyes. Excellent strong bone and very god substance. Sturdy legs with oval shaped paws. Very muscular body. Tail well covered and reaches the shoulders. Very good black ticking. Some colour to the heels. A very striking lad with a wonderful temperament and a joy to handle in super condition. Well done a well deserved certificate.

2 Horsley CH SUPATOFT PEACHES

sorrel silver Somali of nearly two years old. Gently curving contours and a smile to her face. Small ruff starting to frame the face. Well balanced type. Almond shaped eyes green in colour with a slight break to a nice profile. Level bite. Large well placed ears. Excellent length of body with very good weight. Elegant legs with oval paws and wonderful tufts. Tail balances. Close lying and soft with some undercoat. Very good ticking and a small amount of colour to the heels. A lovely lady. Still quite young and developing. Very inquisitive and in wonderful condition. Body still muscling up and nice and firm.

fawn silver Somali of just over three years old. Lovely head with very nicely balanced type. Super coat colour and ticking. Gently curving contours to the head, nicely formed muzzle and a smile. Well shaped eyes green in colour. Super profile. Excellent length of body and very strong bone. Very good substance. Elegant legs with lovely oval paws. Soft and close lying coat along the spine with a very good length. Heel colour evident. In super condition with a lovely temperament and a joy to handle. Well developed for her age with a firm fairly muscular body.

BLUE POINT BIRMAN IMP/GRAND PREMIER MALE;

just over three years old. Very full coat, flowing and excellent preparation. Clear body coat lovely head. Medium size ears which are well set. Good cheeks and muzzle. Level bite. Eyes almost round and a lovely blue. Level bite. Excellent bone and very good weight. Strong legs. Large rounded paws with small tufts. Full tail which balances. Gloves even, one sock slightly higher, gauntlets broad and even. Tail full. Points all well matched in the depth of colour. Excellent coat length and texture. Wonderful temperament and a pleasure to handle.

2 Groves GR PR SPELLSINGER MOON BALLAD

seven years old and looking in very good condition for his age. Good cheeks and type. Well set ears and nice width to the cheeks with a lovely muzzle. Level bite. Good blue colour to well shaped eyes. Very strong bone and lovely weight. Large paws and sturdy legs. Tail reaches the shoulders and is well covered. Gloves symmetrical, socks even, broad and wide well matched gauntlets. Just a small amount of shading to the body coat, soft and fairly full. Very well prepared. Medium blue to all the points. Excellent condition and temperament.

BLUE POINT BIRMAN IMP/GRAND PREMIER FEMALE;

eight years old and in very good condition for her age. Good strong head and type. Well positioned ears of a medium size. Level bite. Full cheeks and well formed muzzle. Good profile with a slight dip. Strong bone and excellent weight. Nicely muscled and very firm. Sturdy legs with large rounded paws and tufts. Small amount of shading to the body coat which is clearer on the undercoat. Symmetrical gloves, socks even and gauntlets broad and even in length. Tail nicely furnished. Very well prepared and making a noise but easy to handle. Another very nice female.

2 Black CH & IGR PR LIZZARA JENNIFER JUNIPER

ten years old. Good breadth to the head with quite a full coat, small ruff to frame the face. Medium size ears well placed, good blue eye colour for her age. Slight dip in profile. Level bite. Small shading to the muzzle. Very good bone and nice length of body. Adequate weight and quite strong legs with fairly large paws. Well covered tail. Almost clear body coat which was full and well prepared. Lovely gloves, socks even, gauntlets a touch short but evenly marked. Excellent show preparation to a full coat. Very talkative but her bark is worse than her bite.

3 Groves CH & GR PR SPELLSINGER GLORIOUS SONG

seven years old and nicely balanced type to the head with good cheeks and a well developed muzzle. Medium length to the nose with a slight dip in profile. Level bite. Good blue colouring to almost rounded eyes. Well set ears. Very good bone and adequate weight. Quite a compact female. Tail well furnished and reaching the shoulders. Nicely rounded paws. Soft coat with a small amount of undercoat. Clear and fairly full. Well groomed. Gloves even, socks and gauntlets equally matched. Not too happy but more talkative and did not mean any harm. Looking in very good condition for her age.

BLUE POINT BIRMAN PREMIER MALE;

young lad just over a year old. Well developed head with super balance. Well positioned ears medium in size. Full cheeks. Level bite. Slight dip in profile. Well formed muzzle. Eyes almost round and of a very nice blue. Excellent strength of bone and very good weight. Strong lad with large paws and sturdy legs. Tail just reaches the shoulders. Clear and soft full body coat. Scalloped gloves, level socks. Gauntlets broad and even in length. A very impressive boy with a promising future. Excellent show preparation and superb temperament. A worthy winner. Well done.

BLUE POINT BIRMAN PREMIER FEMALE;

six years old. Well balanced head with a small ruff to frame the face. Good width to the cheeks. Medium size ears which are well placed. Good muzzle. Slight dip in profile. Level bite with some top teeth missing. Well shaped eyes of a medium blue. Very good bone and lovely length to the body. Large rounded paws. Tail just a touch short and nicely furnished. Scalloped gloves, socks even, well matched gauntlets. A small amount of shading to the body coat with some undercoat and clearing to the roots. Well groomed and in very good condition. Lovely temperament and a pleasure to handle.

BLUE POINT BIRMAN PRE PREMIER FEMALE;

1 PC Green UK GR CH DEMILUNE JACINTA

nine years old lovely width to the head with eyes just a touch deep set but of a very good colour. Well set ears and a good profile with a slight dip. Acceptable bite. Well developed muzzle. Chin just falls away slightly. Very nicely developed bone and quite a compact female with adequate weight. Rounded paws with small tufts. Tail a smidge short and well covered. Well matched gloves, socks even. Gauntlets broad and evenly marked. Very small amount of shading to a soft and full body coat. Coat very well groomed with a lot of undercoat. All points evenly matched. Lovely condition and temperament.
