GCCF SUPREME SHOW 21 11 09 MRS JANET STARRIt is always a special pleasure to be invited to judge at this most prestigious of shows & I thank Celia & the Show Committee very much for the honour. This year’s show seemed to attract a large gate & I hope the new initiatives paid off for the hard –working team in Celia’s first year as Show Manager. I enjoyed the good company & expert handling skills of Catrina Simpson, Anne Clay ,both part of my team in previous years ,& Brenda Leckie, who joined us at short notice. Thank you all very much for making my day run smoothly – I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did. Finally, thank you to the exhibitors for bringing their beautiful cats & to the real stars of the show ,the cats themselves, for allowing us the privilege of handling them! SEAL OR BLUE-POINT SIAMESE IMPERIALGRAND CHAMPION MALE1 UK GC BOB PALMER’S IGRCH MYLYNN MONTOYA 17 07 04Very stylish male of excellent type, full of presence & looking as impressive as ever today .Even wedge head with almost straight profile & firm chin. Eyes of oriental shape & setting, the colour somewhat washed out by the hall light. Well placed large ears. Long strong body & legs ,tail just long enough & a fraction thick at the root. Close coat of excellent texture, still showing contrast to his dense seal points. A handsome boy of super type & with a fabulous showman’s temperament, a real gentleman! 2 SHAND’S GRCH ANDALYN AMADEUS 04 06 06 Another handsome male of very good type, just a little unsure of himself on this busy day. Fine wedge head with straight profile & firm chin. Oriental eyes of correct shape & setting, bright blue but again the light in this part of the hall taking away some of the depth of colour. Long strong body, legs & tail to balance. Close coat of excellent texture, showing good contrast to his dense seal points. A very attractive boy, much happier ( and therefore showing himself better)in his pen. Unlucky to meet the winner today- how I wished for A Reserve Certificate! Eyes of bright blue, again stripped of depth of colour, just a little full in shape. Large ears open at the base ,well set when she relaxes. Long firm body & legs, fine whip tail to balance .Close coat of fine texture, giving excellent contrast to dense seal points. An attractive female, who was a little difficult to assess as she was reluctant to stay still!
