I bred Gr Ch & Gr Pr Oakdene Walkin On Sunshine. We are now living in Spain, but heard the news about Sunny's first UK Grand Certificate. I would like to thank his owner Helen for showing Sunny so well (yes, I heard on the grapevine how lovely he looked). It is still a pleasure to hear good news about the cats I bred even though we are no longer involved in breeding and showing. Good luck for the future Helen.
Jan Weatherley  - UK GRCH & UK IMPERIAL GRPR PICWICK MAGGIEMAY   |2009-11-26 14:08:23
Maggie was awarded her second UK GRPR, BOB and was shorted listed to the final 3 for BOV at this year’s Supreme. A remarkable achievement for a 9 year old. She has received 13 Imperials and been BIS Neuter many times but this year Mark Pearman made a dream come true when Maggie became overall BIS at the Capital – a rare honour few Torties achieve. Thank you so much for this award Mark – it means a great deal to me. Maggie will now be retiring from the show circuit as she has nothing left to prove and I would like to take this opportunity of thanking all the judges over the years for the awards given to my beautiful girl. Thank you also to the many exhibitors who have come up against her and been gracious in defeat! But most of all a huge thank you to my good friend Pauline Rogers for letting me have Maggie all those years ago and for her support & encouragement ever since. It will be strange going to shows without Maggie, who only occasionally reminded everyone that she was a “Naughty Tortie”!
