SURREY & SUSSEX CAT ASSOCIATION, SATURDAY 20TH MARCH, 2010

Thank you to Joyce & Vic Simmons and the committee for the kind invitation to judge. I really enjoyed judging at this show again. It brought back very many happy memories of times gone by. I’d also like to thank Stephanie Haynes for her help and assistance as my steward throughout the day. Stephanie I greatly enjoyed our day together and look forward to our next engagement.

BLUE OR LILAC TORTIE AND WHITE

1CC BOB COOKE FIRANTY DONNATELLA.

My first cat of the day and a little beauty. Lovely lady, maximum expression of white. Nice round head with a striking patched face, all colours visible, very attractive. Neat ears, well placed, on broad top. Short broad nose with excellent facial balance. Scissor bite. Eye shape, size and colour correct. Full coat beautifully prepared, white pristine, coloured patches free from white hairs. Good bodyweight and conformation.

A.C. TORTOISESHELL COLOURPOINT ADULT

1 CC BOB NEALE CONFETICAT CHERRYCOLA

Lovely lady showing blue-cream points and a full mask. Ears, neat and well placed, nicely pointed. Eyes correct for size, shape and colour. Scissor bite. Really nice round head with good facial balance. Full coat, containing some old coarse hairs. Good bodyweight supported by thick chunky legs.

Pretty baby, nicely marked on face, displaying blue-cream and white. Ears neat and well placed. Snub nose. Full cheeks, firm muzzle and chin. Scissor bite. Eye shape and size good, colour developing well. Full coat, maximum expression of white, beautifully presented. Cobby body shape on short fat legs

AC. PERSIAN SELF ADULT

1 OWEN GR. CH.BESSJET ROCAWEN PRIVATE JET

Scrummy black. Huge Persian head, very masculine. Neat ears on broad top of head. Bold, round eyes of the deepest copper. Snub nose. Fat cheeks, firm muzzle and strong chin. Scissor bite. Full coat, although beginning to break up, all but sound, some shading at roots. Really lovely body shape supported by thick chunky legs.

2 DAVEY PALCHINNO PINEAPPLE POLL

Lovely full, pale blue coat, beautifully presented, such a difficult coat to prepare, it is like combing cobwebs. Darker saddle over shoulders. Full tail. Great type. Eyes good for size, shape and colour. Narrow but level bite. Ears a little upright, otherwise good facial balance. Good body weight and condition.

3. HEATH CH. MARMELSTIEN DUMBLEDORE.

Black.

A.C. NON-SELF ADULT

1 TONKS GR. CH. ZENDIQUE U BEEN TANGOED

Red and white tabby exotic. An absolute beauty. Very impressive. Grand type with small nicely rounded at tips ears, well placed and following the contours of head. Round forehead. Eye shape and colour great, deep orange. Huge apple cheeks, firm muzzle and strong chin. Bite all but level. Short broad nose with stop. Thick neck on broad shoulders. M on forehead, spectacles in evidence. Lines from corner of eyes, lines over back of head. Red areas of coat well patterned with mackerel tabby markings. Coat dense, plush, standing away from body. Good muscular tone to body. Huge paws, nicely rounded. Banded tail.

2 KEWS FIRANTY AZTEC PEARL

Stunning black tortie and white. Owl-like eyes coupled with an expression to die for. Superb open type. Snub nose. Wonderful facial balance. Scissor bite. Looks like an artist has been busy on the coat, the patching is so well distributed and the colours bright. Beautifully presented.

3 CLARK SHEERBLISS DAKOTA

A.C. PERSIAN BI-COLOURED OR PEWTER ADULT.

1 LOVESY CHERMICICAN TEXAN ROSE

Cream and white bi-colour. Grand lady with bonnet top of head, ideal setting for the wee ears. Lovely round head. Good facial balance. Eyes good for size, shape and colour. Scissor bite. Full coat, maximum expression of white. Cream areas, pastel. Chunky body supported by fat legs.

2 MESSRS OSMOND AND CALVAGNA POPUP ANNIE

Red and white bi-colour with neat ears and an owl like expression. Bold round eyes of good colour. Snub nose. Good facial balance. Scissor bite. Maximum expression of white. Red areas good colour. Needing to bulk up, weight wise. Cobby shape to body.

Stunning orange-eyed white with bold, round eyes, colour on the change. Very good type, well balanced. Snub nose. Full cheeks, firm muzzle and strong chin. Full coat, pristine and presented to perfection. Cobby body shape on short fat legs.

A.C. PERSIAN KITTEN RESIDENT IN ANOTHER AREA

1 YUILLE & CAIRNS HADFIELDS EYES GOT THE LOT

Cream spotted exotic. Lovely type, ears round tipped and following the contour of the head which is round. Bold, round eyes of deep orange. Short broad nose with break. Fat cheeks, firm muzzle and strong chin. Scissor bite. Thick neck supported by strong chest and shoulders. Pleasing shade of cream to coat, spots well in evidence. Coat dense, plush and standing away from body. Strong legs with nicely rounded paws.

1 FLINT GR. CH. BRACIE GILDA

Absolute perfection. Got the lot. Blue and cream, plus white on face. Perfect Persian type. Wonderful, really round head, with bold, round eyes of excellent colour. Neatest of ears, set on a bonnet top of head. Full coat, looking like a cloud on legs, it was so beautifully presented. Maximum expression of white which was pristine.

A.C. PERSIAN NEUTER RESIDENT IN ANOTHER AREA

1 TONKS GR. CH. AND PR. ZENDIQUE ATZARISBORN

Blue spotted exotic who has the lot. Wonderful type, great fat cheeks, firm muzzle and strong chin. Level bite. Bold round eyes of excellent colour. Short broad nose with break. Thick neck and strong shoulders. Cool toned beige undercoat with deep blue markings. M on forehead, lines from corner of eyes and going over back of head. Grand necklaces, bracelets and banded tail. Spots on sides and tummy. Coat dense, thick and standing away from body. Strong muscular body supported by strong legs with rounded paws.

2 HEATHS CH. SHIMBA JUBILATION

Blue of good type. Coat dark, and woolly. Ears well placed. Short broad nose, full cheeks, firm muzzle and strong chin. Needing much more attention to grooming and show preparation.
