Many thanks to Liz and Harry for the invitation to judge at this enjoyable show. A lovely atmosphere and an excellent lunch prepared by the Committee. The standard of the exhibits was high and I had an excellent steward in Sylvia Smith who handles the exhibits with great sympathy and understanding. Thank you, Sylvia.

BLUE POINT FEMALE ADULT:

1.CC.BOB.WOODHOUSE’S CH.DORAL ELIZA DOOLITTLE 7.9.05

A fine boned elegant queen of good type. Straight wedge with excellent top of head and large ears. Straight profile, slightly untidy bite due to loss of some teeth, which appeared to be level and good chin. Slightly full eyes of oriental shape and set with deep blue colour. Stylish head carriage and long firm body of excellent muscle tone, slim legs and long whip tail. Dark blue points with slight toning shading on a coat of good texture, just a fraction long on the back.

2.CHURCHILL’S CHULUK ANNABELLE 8.8.03

Mature lady of excellent temperament. Medium length head with well placed ears which need to be larger. Straight nose, level bite and firm chin. Oriental eye shape and set with clear blue colour which needs to be deeper. Well nourished body of good length and type with slim legs and good length tail. Soft mid blue points colour and some toning shading on a white coat of good length and texture.

RED POINT FEMALE ADULT:

1.CC.BOB.REED’S IMP.GR.CH.JOHPAS SENORITA RUMBALITA 1.5.05

Beautifully grown queen shown in perfect condition. Balanced wedge with excellent top of head and beautifully placed large ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with sapphire blue colour. Well defined neckline and regal head carriage. Long body of stylish type and excellent muscle tone with slender legs and a whip tail which could do with an extra inch. Golden red points and an exquisite off white coat.

TORTIE POINT KITTEN:

1.BOB.BOWLES-GOWDY’S MAFDET ULTRAVIOLET(32b8) 2.4.08

Exquisite kitten of excellent type. Balanced wedge with excellent top of head and beautifully placed ears. Straight profile, level bite and deep chin. Slightly straight set eyes of oriental shape and deep blue colour. Fragile neckline and svelte body of dainty type with slender legs and long whip tail. All points well mingled and a clear kitten coat of good length and texture.

2.HUTCHISON’S SYNTAX SYRIANA(32b7) 6.4.08

Well grown kitten of good overall type. Good length head with large ears which she held a fraction high on occasion. Good profile, small pinch at present, level bite and excellent chin.. Oriental eye shape and set with clear blue colour. Well developed body of good muscle tone with slim legs and whip tail. Good cinnamon points colour and clear ivory coat which was short smooth and close lying.

APRICOT POINT MALE KITTEN:

1.CROWLEY & LAMBERT’S JOHPAS RAFAEL 9.5.08

Well grown kitten in excellent condition. Excellent top of head and large ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Straight set eyes of oriental shape and clear blue colour which needs to be deeper. Firm, muscular body of stylish type with slim legs and long whip tail. Excellent apricot points and a clear coat of excellent length and texture.

2.CROWLEY & LAMBERT’S JOHPAS SONNYDAZE (MN) 3.3.08

Another beautifully grown kitten from the Johpas stable. Excellent type overall with a good top of head and large ears. Good profile, level bite and good chin. Slightly full eyes of good basic shape and set with clear blue colour which needs to be deeper. Well defined neckline and long muscular body of good type with slim legs and whip tail. Good apricot points colour and a clear coat of excellent quality.

SIAMESE/BALINESE GRAND PREMIER MALE:

1.IMP.GR.PR.W/H.MUIR-TAYLOR’S GR.PR.GLENTHORNE EURWYN(32c) 7.6.06

Excellent top of head with large, flared ears. Slightly uneven profile, level bite, albeit some teeth missing, and good chin. Excellent oriental eye shape and set with colour which needs to be deeper for perfection and he insisted on looking down his nose which was my reason for withholding this high award. `Elegant head carriage and muscular body of very good type. Slim legs and long whip tail. Good points colour and minimal shading on a warm white coat of excellent length and texture.

BALINESE/ORIENTAL LONGHAIR BREEDER’S ADULT:

1.WOODHOUSE’S DORAL INYOURDREAMS(61e) F 22.6.07

Straight, medium length wedge with good top of head and large tufted ears. Straight profile, some teeth missing but bite appears level and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with deep blue colour. Muscular body with fine legs and well plumed tail which could do with a bit more length. All points well mingled and slight shading on a a coat of good texture lacking sufficient length.

SIAMESE/BALINESE JUNIOR ADULT:

1.DAVISON’S DORAL FORSYTHE(61nt) M 23.11.05

Attractive male with a straight wedge and good top of head with tufted ears which could be a fraction larger for perfection. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with clear blue colour. Good length, muscular body with good legs and a well plumed tail which needs an extra inch for balance. Excellent points colour showing M on brow, thumb prints, cheek ribbons and fainter leg bars and bracelets. Clear coat of silky texture which needs more length.

AC VISITOR’S ADULT:

1.BOWLES-GOWDY’S MAFDET THEJAZZSINGER(24) F 25.5.06

Excellent type overall with a straight balanced head and excellent width between large ears. Straight profile, level bite and firm chin. Oriental eye shape and set with deep sapphire colour and imperious expression. Elegant neckline and long svelte body with dainty legs and long whip tail. Dark seal points and some contrast on a coat of excellent length and texture.

2.NORTHFIELD’S ADVISH LOVEINAMIST(37a) F 19.5.06

Mature female with straight medium length wedge and good top of head with well placed ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with clear, pale green colour. Good head carriage and long firm body with slim legs and whip tail. Sound coat of excellent length and texture.

TABBY POINT or PROVISIONAL STATUS BREEDER’S KITTEN:

1.RICHARD’S DEBIKAT GRACIE-MAE(32/1) F 2.4.08

Well grown kitten of excellent type. Good length, straight wedge with excellent top of head and large ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with sapphire blue colour. Elegant neckline and firm body of stylish type with slender legs and long well ringed whip tail. Tabby markings well defined with thumb prints, M on brow, single ribbons and leg bars and bracelets. Close lying coat of excellent texture.

AV LIMIT KITTEN:

2.WILLIS’ LEBRETON FINLAY(48 40b) M 21.2.08

A real ‘hit you in the eye job’. Excellent growth combined with extreme type. Long head with pinch to muzzle and good width between large ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with clear, bright colour. Stylish head carriage and excellent body type with slim legs and whip tail. Excellent coat quality predominantly white with brown markings.
