I was incredibly lucky to offered Dairymaine Sarnia Cherie aka Tutti in the first place by Jane Haynes, she was a beautiful kitten that we thought had a chance of doing very well but little were we to know how well!

Tutti has always been Boss of the house and the boys know not to tread on her toes, a typical naughty tortie who is only worse now as having won the Supreme! She is very well travelled as are all of my cats as they come back with me to Guernsey when I go home on holiday or for Christmas.

Tutti is named after the Guernsey National Anthem ‘Sarnia Cherie’ meaning Guernsey my love. She has had a massively successful show career having won over 12 best in shows. After 1 final show she will be retired from GCCF shows but will still go out on exhibition. She has the sweetest nature around people and loves men especially my Dad!!

As for the show itself, I have loads of blank bits about the whole day! I was thrilled to bits in the morning when she won her 1st UK and then thought the icing on the cake was BOB. We had a bit of a break between BOB and BOV to relax thank god as it all went mad after that!!

BOV was so nerve racking as the quality of the SLH Neuters was stunning, it was enough for me that day just to win the BOV especially as one of my boys UK & IMP GR PR Dairymaine Chilli Pepper won BOV last year and I was away on a work trip in Mexico and missed it all!

I sat really quietly with her at the BIS show pens just quietly talking to her and willing her to be a good girl and telling she had done more than I could ever have imagined. My Father Brian, my little brother Connor who had both flown over especially for the weekend from Guernsey along with my Mother Sue and a load of my very good friends managed to secure some space right at the front of the crowd and I dashed down ready to watch her go up.

The atmosphere was amazing, all the tension really built up thanks to John Hansson’s excellent commentry. I honestly thought I was going to pass out during the Supreme Neuter judging! All I can remember was shaking like a leaf and my heart pounding, I know I was holding my best friend Angie’s arm at this time and just couldn’t stop crying!!

I felt a little better whilst stood on the stage as by then she had done more than I could ever had imagined and that is all I could ever dream of. When John Hansson announced that she was Supreme Exhibit it was like the whole world had gone mad, I could see my family and friends going mad at the front of the crowd crying and cheering. The next thing was all these cameras and people, I couldn’t believe how brilliantly Tutti took it all, she was a complete super star and every inch the Supreme winner.

I have to say a massive thank you to so many people, my Dad Brian, my Mother Sue, my brother Connor and my sister Sophie who couldn’t make it over from Guernsey, Jane Haynes Tutti’s breeder, my very good friend Angie Barletta who’s beautiful girl was BOV SLH Adult as well and all my other friends who made the day so fantastic and also all the people I don’t know who took the time to come and offer their congratulations.

I must also reserve special thanks to her judges on the day, Daphne Butters for the UK and BOB, Mary Kalal for BOV and the Supreme Panel of Mrs Wilding, Mrs Worth and Mrs Walkden. Tutti’s fantastic stewards in the wonderful Sue Kirk and Vanessa Marriott. A huge thank you to the Supreme show committee and everyone who works so hard to make it such a fantastic day, a big well done.

Jane Haynes deserves a huge congratulations for having bred 2 Supreme Exhibits, Tutti and Supreme UK & Imperial Grand Premier Dairymaine Chestaton who is Tutti’s full brother from an earlier mating.
