 Carol Walker & Pat Creaton are still coming down to earth after their rescued white SLH non-ped boy, MC Littleman Raffles, finally fulfilled a 14 year/15 Supreme dream by being crowned Supreme Non-Pedigree of 2008.
From their very first Supreme in 1994 they have dreamt of one day having one of their cats held up as the best non-pedigree of the year at the GCCF's flagship show, but never really thought they would. The nearest they came was in 2004 when Raffles made it to Best LH but was beaten by the SH for Overall.
This was Raffles' first time back since that day as he had been semi-retired and then, just before entries opened last year, he injured his tail and was off the bench until early 2008.
 It was amazing enough to equal the Best LH award but when he then became the overall winner and Supreme Non-Pedigree 2008 it truly was a dream come true. Not bad for an almost 10 1/2 year old cat who was, quite literally, born in a Manchester gutter!
