WEST COUNTRY CAT CLUB SHOW – 16.1.10 Mrs Sally Tokens

Special thank you to Lisa, Elaine and John for their first class hospitality and excellent well run show. I had a very enjoyable day and some wonderful cats to judge.

AC PERSIAN GR PR NEUTER MALE;

IMP GR PC; White IGR CH & IGR PR MARDIGRAS THECANDY MANCAN

cream and white bi colour of nearly five years old and absolutely dripping in coat. Groomed to perfection with a clean white coat set off by pale cream areas. Small ears and a well formed skull. Cheeks full and round. Large eyes of a very good copper. Short broad nose. Level bite. Coloured patches to all the legs. Two patches to his back and colour to the head above the eyes and up to the ears. Short full brush fully coloured. Pale cream sound to the roots.

RES IMP GR PC withheld
2 Stanbridge GR PR LEEROMAX JAYCEE

chocolate lad of nearly eight years old. Excellent strong bone and very good substance. Ears well positioned just a touch open at the base. Cheeks full and round. Eyes of a nice shape but very pale in colour – green. Short broad nose with a nice stop. Bite off centre and due to the bite and the eye colour I am afraid I had to withhold the certificate. Coat long and full and a fairly good chocolate which was sound to the roots, a small amount of shading to the ruff and flanks. Short full brush.

AC PERSIAN GR PR NETUER FEMALE;

IMP GR PC; Burnett IGR CH & IGR PR LOMORAS RUBY TUESDAY

blue tortie and white girl of nearly five years old. Strong bone and lovely substance. Two or three cream patches to her back and one blue. Left limbs white. Coat with quite a good undercoat and nicely prepared, gleaming white and pastel colour to the cream and blue. Tail well patched and quite full. Small ears which are set well. Cheeks full and skull nicely rounded. Eyes large and open and showing a nice orange colour. Short broad nose with a good break. Level bite. A very nice female and although she was in the class on her own she was a worthy winner.

 AOV SLH CHAMPION ADULT MALE;

GR CC; Barletta GR CH ISHCUS JAMES BOND

black and white maine coon of two and a half years old. A strapping lad with excellent bone and substance. Ears large and set quite high with a good width apart and small tufts. Cheeks fairly full with high set cheek bones. Eyes with a slightly oblique aperture and set and green colouring. Slight concave curve at the nasal bridge. Level bite. Square muzzle and lovely breadth and depth to the chin. Coat having a fairly soft top coat and some undercoat present. Very good dense black. White to the upper lips, paws, chest and tummy. Tail just reaches the shoulder blades and is well covered. A slight gloss along the spine of the body.

AOV SLH CHAMPION ADULT FEMALE;

GR CC; Saville CH ISHCUS MELISA

tortie classic tabby and white maine coon of nearly two years old. Lovely bone and good weight. Rectangular body shape. Ears of a good size with long tufts and nice furnishings. High set cheek bones with the cheeks fairly full, I would have preferred a little more width for perfection. Shallow concave curve at the nasal bridge. Level bite. Square muzzle. Little more breadth to the chin for balance. Slightly oblique aperture and set to green coloured eyes. Tail reaching the shoulders with profuse and flowing fur. Small ruff to frame the face. White to the paws, chest and tummy. Very good tabby markings evident. Rich red and strong black can be seen to form the tortie pattern.

RES GR CC; Mitchell CH DRAUPNIR LITTLE-MISSCOCO

tortie colourpoint ragdoll. Super bone structure and plenty of substance. A real stocky lass. Ears of a medium size which are well set and slightly tilt forward. Cheeks full and a nicely formed muzzle. Flat plane to the top of the head. Eyes with a slightly oblique shape and medium blue in colour. Gentle dip to the profile. Level bite. Exceptionally full coat which must be a handful to prepare. Very good undercoat and a small amount of shading to the body. Seal brown to the points with some areas of a varying shade of red. Tail reaching the shoulders and is very well furnished. Ruff to frame the face. Just a tiny bit pinched in the muzzle today.

Eyes almost round and showing a medium blue colouring. Level bite. Coat having a minimal amount of shading. Soft texture with a small amount of undercoat. Gloves evenly marked. Socks level. Gauntlets equal in length and breadth. Very good red to all the points, vibrant in colour and set off with a nice chocolate. Tail balances with the body and is well covered.

2 Bennett GAYEMAUDI ROSEOFMUNKCHIP

red female of thirteen months old. Very nicely developed female with lovely bone and substance. Well set ears of a good size. Cheeks full and muzzle nicely formed. Eyes almost round and showing a lovely blue colour. Medium length nose with a slight dip in profile. Level bite. Gloves symmetrically marked. Unfortunately the marking on the front right limb goes past the stopper pad. Socks equal. Gauntlets broad and even in length. Tail in proportion to the body length and is well covered. All the points equal in the depth of red colouring. Clear body coat with a nice undercoat and silken texture.

3 Allen LACHMERE TISANTI KRYSTAL

blue tortie female of nearly two years old. Nice size girl with adequate weight. Well positioned ears of a medium size. Cheeks quite full and just a tiny bit pinched in the muzzle today. Medium blue colouring to the eyes which were almost round in shape. Slight dip in profile to the nose. Level bite. Gloves dip a little but the colour does not go between the toes. Socks almost level. Gauntlets extremely short and very difficult to see. A small amount of shading to the body coat which was soft in texture and with some undercoat present. Very pastel points colours of a pale blue and cream. Tail reaching the shoulders and is very well furnished showing both colours.

TABBY OR TORTIE TABBY BIRMAN ADULT MALE;

BOB Allen CH LALOLA MISTER DARCY

lilac tabby lad of nearly two years old and what a whoppa. Excellent strength of bone and plenty of substance, just so laid back a gentle giant. Well positioned ears of a medium size. Good width to nice full cheeks. Eyes of a medium blue colouring and almost round in shape. Medium length nose with a slight dip in profile. Level bite. Well formed muzzle. Gloves symmetrically marked. Socks even. Gauntlets equal in length and breadth. Clear body coat which had a very good undercoat and soft texture. Tail just slightly lighter in colour. seal tabby of two and a half years old. Very well developed with excellent weight and bone. Ears well positioned and medium in size. Good width to the cheeks. Slight dip in profile. Level bite. Well shaped eyes of a very good blue colour. Strong tabby markings to the face with a well defined M to the forehead and lines from the corner of the eyes across the cheeks. Well marked legs. Gloves evenly matched. Socks level. Gauntlets broad and even in length. Tail with the odd ring and very nicely furnished. A small amount of shading to the body coat which was soft to touch and having some undercoat.

2 Gearty SKILLYWIDDEN STELLA

seal tabby girl approaching three years old. A medium size female who I would have preferred larger in size. Not to happy today and moaning all the time. Adequate weight. Medium size ears which are well set. Cheeks quite full and just a tiny bit pinched in the muzzle today. Eyes almost round and of a good blue colouring. Profile having a slight dip. Level bite. White spot attached to one of her stopper pads. Gloves scalloped. Socks almost level. Gauntlets equal in length and breadth. blue colourpoint baby of four months old. Nicely developed baby with good bone and lovely substance. Flat plane. Well set ears which slightly tilt forward. Profile medium in length with a gentle dip. Good shape to the eyes which were of a medium blue colouring. Level bite. Just a trifle pinched in the muzzle today, which makes her look a little prominent in the muzzle. Clear body coat which had a small amount of undercoat and was soft to touch. Blue colouring to the legs still developing and a nice blue to the mask. Tail lightly covered and balances with the body.

3 Mitchell LADYDOLL NARCISSA

seal colourpoint of just over four months old. Excellent bone and weight at this age. Profile a little shallow and detracts from the overall balance of this girl.
