WEST OF ENGLAND AND SOUTH WALES CAT CLUB SHOW – 28.8.10 Mrs Sally Tokens

I would like to thank Grace and the committee for inviting me back to judge at their show. The gift was much appreciated. I had a super day and some lovely cats to handle.

AC PERSIAN GR CH ADULT MALE;

IMP GR CC; Priest UK GR CH TREVORRY BOOBOO

Golden lad of just over seven years old. Short cobby body set low on the legs. Nice bone structure and adequate weight as he is obviously a working lad. Dinky ears which are well placed on the side of the head. Well rounded skull. Eyes large and round and showing a nice emerald colour which is outlined with black. Short broad nose with a good stop. Level bite. Cheeks full and round. Coat well prepared and soft to touch. Pale apricot to the undercoat which is deepening in colour to the nape of the neck. Nicely tipped with black which is even all over. Short full tail. Small tufts to the feet.

IMP GR CC; Lovesy GR CH CHERMICICAN TEXANROSE

Cream and white bi colour girl of nearly two and a half years old. Colour to the head above the eyes and up to the ears. Fully coloured tail. Clean white coat which is long and flowing with some undercoat present. Groomed down to the last hair. Very nice bone structure and lots of substance. Tiny ears which are well set on the side of the head. Well formed skull. Cheeks of a good width and a rounded muzzle. Eyes large and round and showing a medium copper colour. Short broad nose with a break. Level bite. Nicely balanced type. Very good bone structure and weight to this lass. Short tail.

AV SLH GR CH ADULT MALE;

IMP withheld 1 Hunter GR CH ACOONAMATATA QUIFF RILEY

Cream silver tabby and white maine coon just over three years old. A huge lad with excellent strong bone and nice weight. Sleek body. Just not looking in Imperial condition today. Large ears which are set quite high with a good width apart. Small tufts to the ears. Cheeks fairly full with high set cheek bones. Eyes with a slightly oblique aperture and set and green colour. Slight concave curve at the nasal bridge. Level bite. Square muzzle. Nice breadth and depth to the chin. Rectangular body shape. Coat a little coarse along his back and showing varying lengths but lacking in undercoat. White to the paws and chest with silver evident to the coat. Tail lightly covered and reaching the shoulder blades. With more coat I am sure this cat is a worthy exhibit of the certificate.

2 Davies IGR CH RAGSHAVEN BUSTERS LEGACY

Blue and white bi colour ragdoll of five and a half years old. Well developed bone structure and nice substance. Medium size ears which are well set and slightly tilt forward. Flat plane to the top of the head. Eyes with a slightly oblique shape but rather pale blue in colour. Good width to the cheeks but narrowing down in the muzzle. Level bite. Very shallow dip to the profile. Symmetrically marked inverted v in white to the face. White to the limbs and the tummy. Well groomed coat which was silken in texture and having a small amount of undercoat. Unfortunately just not looking well balanced today and in need of some more coat. Wonderful temperament and a pleasure to handle. Tail balances with the body and is lightly furnished.

GR PC Bray & Griggs PR CHARBONNELLA RED BARRON

Red lad of thirteen months old. Super bone structure and very good substance. Ears well positioned just a touch open at the base. Round eyes with a good copper colour. Short broad nose and nice stop. Well rounded skull. Cheeks nice and full. Level bite. Long coat with some undercoat. Good red colouring which is sound to the roots and nicely prepared. Short full brush.

BROWN/BLUE TABBY MAINE COON NEUTER;

Brown tabby lass of just over two years old. Very strong bone and plenty of weight. Well developed for her age. Rectangular body shape. Large ears which are set quite high with a good width apart and small tufts. Cheeks fairly full with high set cheek bones. Green colouring to the eyes which were of a slightly oblique aperture and set. Medium length nose with a slight concave curve at the nasal bridge. Square muzzle. Lovely breadth and depth to the chin. Level bite. Super coat with varying lengths and a nice undercoat. Small ruff to frame the face. Strong black markings on a quite warm copper agouti ground colour. Tail with profuse and flowing fur and reaching to the shoulders. Nicely marked butterfly to the shoulders and oysters to the flanks.

BOB; McCracken PR MAINENEWS EMLEE

Brown tabby girl of just over two years old. Huge heavy weight lass with wonderful bone and substance. Rectangular body shape. Small tufts to large ears which are set quite high with a good width apart. High set cheek bones with the cheeks fairly full. Slightly oblique aperture and set to the eyes which were green in colour. Profile with a slight concave curve at the nasal bridge. Square muzzle. Level bite. Chin having breadth and depth. Very full coat with a soft top coat and lovely depth of undercoat. Well groomed with varying lengths. Well marked m to the forehead and lines from the corner of the eyes across the cheeks. Butterfly marking to the shoulders with some of the body markings diffused by the length of coat. Strong black markings on a warm copper agouti ground colour. Tail with profuse and flowing fur showing the odd ring and balances with the body.

1 Lovesy GR CH CHERMICICAN TEXANROSE

Cream and white bi colour.

2 Howes CH HONEYMIST CREAM ROXIANNA

Cream girl of five years old. Very bold eyes of a medium orange colour. Coat of the palest cream which was sound and even all over, very well prepared. Just a little more weight for perfection.

3 Hudson CH SLINKYPAWS VALENTINO

Blue eyed white exotic.

1 Payne ROSEBRIDGE CENTURIAN

Black and white bi colour of seven months old. A huge lad who was groomed to perfection. Stunning type which is beautifully balanced. Jet black patches and pristine white. A very beautiful exhibit.

2 Danks TAMOSAH INTHEMOOD

Pewter lad of three months old. He did not stand a chance against the monster in the class. Having a canine tooth missing at present. Deep eye colour and very nice type. Coat lacking in undercoat but very good tipping. Sweet expression.

Blue tortie and white female of five months old. White legs, two or three patches of cream to the back. Cream and blue to the head and tail. Very full coat which flowed. Small ears and well balanced type.

2 Henderson MAVOURNEEN PERFECT BLOSSOM

Blue tortie and white female of three months old. Another sweet baby with numerous patches to her back and head. Very good eye colour and excellent show grooming. Clean and white with a lovely length to the coat.

3 Danks TAMOSAH IZADORABLE

Pewter.

1 Burnett IGR CH & IGR PR LOMORAS RUBY TUESDAY

Blue tortie and white girl just over five years old. Medium orange eye colour and nicely balanced type. Coat full and expertly prepared. Acceptable bite. Very good type. Full long and flowing coat.

2 Wiltshire CH & PR MOONMARINER TILIA

Seal colourpoint of seven years old. Very strong bone and lovely weight. Medium blue eye colour. Short broad nose. Full body coat with a minimal amount of shading. Nice seal points all equally matched. Tenses tail when examined.

3 Mather-Bartlett GR PR STOWAWAY GOTTHE BLUES

Blue colourpoint.

AV SLH LIMIT KITTEN;

1 Handy FORESTSHADOW FRIKKA

Silver tabby and white Norwegian Forest cat. Very good length to the body. I would prefer a touch more weight. Triangular head shape not yet equilateral. Wonderful expression and a very good coat already developed.

2 Arnold COCHVALE TANGERINE DREAM

Red birman of four months old. Strong bone and substance. Soft texture to a clear body coat. Very difficult to assess the feet markings at this stage, they look level so I gave him the benefit of the doubt, (front right to the stopper pad). Super type forming.

3 Bennett MUNKCHIP MISTER BEAR Blue birman.

AV SLH RADIUS KITTEN;

1 Evans TISANTI MADE IN HEAVEN

ilac cream birman of four months old. All feet markings level. Pale cream and pinkish lilac to the points. Lovely cheeks developing and a slight dip in profile. Acceptable bite.

2 Hancock ROMACOON HEPHAETUS

Red classic tabby and white. A huge lad with wonderful bone and weight. Superb head with lovely type and square muzzle with a nice breadth and depth to the chin. Unfortunately he has a floating xiehi sternum. Coat with a soft top coat and some undercoat. 3 Jenkin & Gay CHEVYCOONS SUNDANCE Red classic tabby and white.

AV SLH NON BREEDERS NEUTER MALE;

1 Parkin CH NORMAGIKATT ELROY

Brown tabby and white Norwegian forest cat of three and a half years old. Excellent well balanced type. Expressive green eyes. Superb coat with a coarse texture and woolly undercoat.

2 Evans TISANTI JALEPENO SUNRISE

Red tabby birman with very deep eye colour. Full cheeks and a well formed muzzle. Full coat with a silken texture and nice undercoat with a slight golden hue. Slight dip in profile and all feet markings level. A few tabby markings evident.

X2 Clarge PR RAGSHAVEN MR SWEETBEASTIE

Blue colourpoint ragdoll who is a real sweetheart. He would have sat on my trolley all day and travelled around the show hall. Wonderful head with excellent strong bone and very good weight. A small amount of undercoat to a soft clear body coat.

3 Kemp GR PR SHANDATAL IMABLUE TIGER

Blue tabby birman.

1 Davies CH & IGR PR SONNYWOOD NUTMEG

Tortie colourpoint ragdoll. A typical naughty tortie of eight years old. Wonderful strong bone and very good weight. Clear body coat which is soft to touch with some undercoat. Very good colours to the points. Strong eye colour. Lovely female.

2 Madden GR CH & PR FELONIE WILD ORCHID

Blue birman of seven years old. Again looking very good for her age. Lovely substance. Good blue colouring to well shaped eyes. Lovely width to the cheeks. All feet markings level. Well balanced type.
