Many thanks for the invitation to judge at this popular and well attended show. The entry was good and the quality of the cats was, in some cases, excellent. My steward was Joan Pounds who was an excellent companion. Many thanks to the Committee for the attractive gift and all the little extras which made the day a success.
AC SIAMESE/BALINESE PREMIER MALE:
GR.PR.GREEN’S CH.& PR.BELROO PERFEQUE(24b) 17.6.06 A very composed gentleman enjoying his retirement from entertaining the ladies. Well grown and of excellent type and very good colour. Excellent top of head and large well placed ears. Good profile, most of his teeth were missing but bite appears to be level and firm chin. Slightly deep set eyes of oriental shape and deep blue colour. Proud head carriage and long, well muscled body of very good type with slim legs and a tail which needs an extra inch to balance the length of the body. Warm points which are chocolate and complete on the mask. Slight shading on a coat of excellent texture, just a fraction long.
RES.GR.PR.SHAWLEY’S GR,PR,HIGHIQ XTRAVAGANZA(32/1) 18.5.05 Another quality exhibit with a super temperament. Very stylish with a straight wedge and good top of head with large ears. Straight profile, some teeth missing but bite appears to be level and good chin. Eyes of good basic shape and set which are slightly full, this is mitigated by the fact that they are a most brilliant blue. Well defined neckline and long firm body with slim legs and long, well ringed tail. All tabby markings very well defined and some toning shading on a short, smooth lying coat.
AC.SIAMESE/BALINESE PREMIER FEMALE:
GR.PR.STOKES’ IMP.GR.PR.CH. & IMP.GR.PR.HELLFIRE HIPPYCHICK(32b2) 26.11.03. Outstanding exhibit with a temperament to match. Excellent type with a straight balanced wedge and beautifully placed large ears.
Straight profile, level bite and firm chin. Excellent oriental eye shape and set with sapphire blue colour and enigmatic expression. Elegant neckline and long, well fed body with slender legs, tiny feet and long whip tail. Mid blue points all well mingled with shades of cream and a short, close lying coat of excellent texture. Perfectly presented and a credit to her owner.
2.RES.PR.W/H. MEEK’S PR.SHERMESE CHINA DOLL(24) 6.6.07 Almost a year old and looking immature on the day. Fine boned and elegant with a good top of head and large ears. Dip in profile, pinch to muzzle, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with good blue colour. Fragile neckline and long stylish body with slim legs and very long whip tail.
Extremely dark seal points and some shading on the back of a close lying coat which was slightly harsh on the back. Needs more time.
BLUE POINT ADULT FEMALE:
1.CC.BOB.WARD’S OWAISSA BOBBY BLUE BEACON 9.12.07 Not in the best of tempers to start with but cooled down eventually. Stylish type overall with a medium length, straight head and large well placed ears. Straight profile, level bite and firm chin. Oriental eye shape and set with deep blue colour. Graceful head carriage and long muscular body of good type with slender legs and long whip tail. Slight gun metal overtone to dark blue points, could be a caramel in waiting. Off white coat of excellent length and texture.
RED POINT ADULT MALE:
1.CC.BOB.ARMSTRONG’S JOHPAS RED ROUE 19.10.07 Glorious young male of outstanding quality, beautifully grown with a perfect temperament.
Excellent top of head and large well placed ears Straight profile, level bite and firm chin. Excellent oriental eye shape and set with deep blue colour. Strong head carriage and beautifully grown muscular body of stylish type with slim legs and a tail which could do with an extra inch. Golden red points and a clear coat of exceptional length and texture.
RED POINT ADULT FEMALE:
1.CC W/H STOKES’LITTLEFEAT ROSARITA(32a) 14.11.07 Just an adult and very immature. Stylish type with good width between large ears which she held slightly high on occasion. Straight profile, pinch to muzzle, level bite and good chin. Full eyes of good basic shape and set with clear mid blue colour. Good head carriage and long body of good type with slender legs and long whip tail. Good red points and a warm white coat of excellent length and texture.
CONSIDERED FOR BOB.MULLEN’S GR.CH.JOHPAS RED RUDDI Not on form today. I judged him two weeks ago and he was looking heaps better than he did today. His coat was open and slightly harsh, he was not happy and had the misfortune to meet an outstanding opponent.
AC BALINESE ADULT MALE:
1.CC.BOB.BROWNING’S GR.CH.PIPPASTRO HAWKMOTH(61n) 5.5.07 A stunning example of the breed and a joy to handle. Straight wedge with excellent width between large fronded ears. Excellent profile, level bite and firm chin. Oriental eye shape and set with bright blue colour and imperious expression which belies his outgoing nature. Regal head carriage and long firm body with rather heavy legs and feet and a well plumed tail which could do with an extra inch. Lovely points colour and a coat of excellent quality which flowed along the spine.
AC BALINESE ADULT FEMALE:
1.CC.WHITBY’S CH.PIPPASTRO PINK PANTHER(61n) 23.4.07 An attractive queen of excellent type. Straight wedge with good top of head and large tufted ears. Almost straight profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with clear blue colour which could be deeper for perfection. Long muscular body of stylish type with slightly heavy legs and long, well plumed tail. Good caramel points colour and a coat of good length and lovely silky texture.
2.LLOYD’S JAYMAX ELLIE MAE(61dt) 3.3.07 Well grown queen with a good length head and balancing width between ears which she tended to hold slightly high and need to be larger. Flat brow, straight nose, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with deep blue colour.
Firm, muscular body of good length and type with good legs and long well plumed tail with shadowy rings. Good red points with thumb prints, M on brow, single ribbons and faint leg bars and bracelets. Coat lacks silky texture at present.
SEAL POINT KITTEN MALE:
1.BOB.COPELAND’S FLOWERDEW GTX PECTATIONS 2.2.08 Very stylish kitten of excellent type. Good length wedge with excellent top of head and large ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with deep blue colour and superior expression. Elegant neckline and long muscular body, slender legs and long whip tail. Warm seal points and some toning shading on a beige coat which was short, smooth and close lying.
SEAL POINT KITTEN FEMALE:
1.GRAY & JOHNSON’S METEXA MYSTICAL MANTRA 4.4.08 Dainty, fine boned kitten of good overall type. Good top of head with large ears which she held slightly high on occasion. Ruler straight profile, level bite and firm chin. Slightly full eyes with clear blue colour which needs to be deeper. Stylish type overall with dainty legs and long whip tail. Dark seal points and a cream coat of excellent length and texture.
CREAM POINT KITTEN MALE:
1.BOB.CLARKE’S FOXYPAWS ERICSSON 1.6.08 Just old enough to be in competition with a balanced wedge and excellent top of head with large ears. Straight profile, level bite and firm chin. Straight set eyes of oriental shape and deep blue colour. Fragile neckline and firm little body with slender legs and long whip tail. Good cream points and a clear coat of excellent quality.
2.SIVITER’S SIMPLISIAM SMOOTH TALKER 5.4.08 Well grown and of very good type. Good length head with large ears which he held slightly high on occasion. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with clear blue colour which, ideally, could be deeper. Good head carriage and firm body of stylish type with slender legs and long, fine whip. Soft cream points and a coat of excellent length and texture.
CREAM POINT KITTEN FEMALE:
1.DAVIES’ BETHANJO WALKINGONSUNSHINE 12.5.08 Stylish kitten with good top of head and large, flared ears. Balanced wedge with straight profile, level bite and good chin. Slightly full eyes of good basic shape and set with clear blue colour which needs to be deeper. Lovely type overall with firm body, slender legs and superfine whip tail. Clear close lying coat with points colour which I suspect will turn out to be apricot in the fullness of time.
CHOCOLATE POINT NEUTER MALE:
1.PC.BOB.GREEN’S CH.& PR. BELROO PERFEQUE 15.4.03 2.LORD’S PR.SEIDO SERAPIS 17.6.06 Very well grown with good width between large ears which he tended to tip forward. Slight dip in profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with bright blue colour. Strong neckline and long firm body of stylish type with slim legs and long tail. Warm chocolate points, brindled on the mask and an excellent ivory coat.
3.MILLER’S PR.PASHTAN DAKOTA 6.7.06 Stylish boy of good type with good length head and well placed large ears. Dip in profile, pinch to muzzle, untidy bite due to loss of some teeth and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with clear blue colour which needs to be deeper. Long muscular body, slim legs and a tail which needs an extra inch for balance. Rich chocolate points and toning shading on the flanks of an ivory coat of good length and texture.

TABBY POINT MALE NEUTER:
1.PC.BOB.BENNETT’S CH.DAZZLING SWEETALKING GUY(32/8) 21.2.07 I just love this boy, he has the lot. Excellent type overall and the most beautiful caramel colour. Strong balanced wedge with excellent top of head and large flared ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Excellent eye shape and set with deep blue colour and threatening expression which belies his lovely nature. Proud head carriage and long muscular body of excellent style and type with slim legs and extra long whip tail with clear rings. All tabby markings well defined with thumb prints, M on brow and leg bars and bracelets. Excellent coat quality with slight shading on the flanks.
2.MILLER’S PR.PASHTAN WILLIEWONKA(32/10) 10.5.05. Mature male with excellent top of head and large ears. Straight profile, slightly flat on the brow, pinch to muzzle, some teeth missing but bite appears to be level and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with deep blue colour.
Good head carriage and stylish type overall with a firm muscular body.
Slim legs and long well ringed whip tail. Good apricot points colour and all tabby markings well defined. Excellent coat for colour and quality slightly shaded on the back.
3.MATTHEWS & PUGH’S KAMIK SCARLETTPIMPERNEL(32/5) 23.5.07 Well grown with good width between large ears held slightly high. Bump on skull, straight profile, level bite and good chin. Deep set eyes of excellent oriental shape and bright blue colour. Well defined neckline and long muscular body with slim legs and long well ringed whip tail. Bright red points with M on brow, thumb prints and leg bars and bracelets.

Slightly full eyes of good basic shape and set with deep blue colour. Stylish type with long firm body, slim legs and long whip tail. All points well mingled with shades of red and a close lying coat showing some toning patching and shading.

All points well mingled and an excellent coat for length and texture.

Good lilac based caramel points colour and a super warm white coat which gleamed with condition.

Mottling evident on the ears and M on brow and leg bars and bracelets.
Clear coat which was smooth, short and close lying.

Slightly full eyes of good basic shape and set with clear blue colour which could be deeper for perfection. Long muscular body, slim legs and whip tail. Excellent points colour and an outstanding magnolia coat.
