YORKSHIRE COUNTY CAT CLUB SHOW – 22.10.11
Mrs Sally Tokens
I would like to thank Lynda and Elaine for their kind invitation back to Doncaster. I had a very enjoyable day with some splendid exhibits. My steward was John Blore who had driven up especially to steward. Thank you John.
SEMI LH GR CH MALE;
IMP GR CC; Grant GR CH NOYNAROCK SARYMAN blue silver tabby and white Norwegian. Large lad with strong bone and nice weight. Long body and standing taller on the back legs. Medium size ears which are set quite high and bearing small tufts and well feathered. Triangular head shape which is equilateral. Long fairly straight profile just having a very minimal dip. Green colouring to the eyes which were of a good size and shape. Level bite. Tends to puff up his whisker pads. Chin falls away slightly. Undercoat still coming through. Coarse texture can be felt to the back and along the spine. Tail reaching the shoulders. White to the face, legs and tummy.
RES IMP GR CC; Pullen GR CH DIZZIPAWS ZEMO blue mitted ragdoll of three and a half years old. Front right marking goes to the end of the stopper pad but not past. White to the chin and the mittens and also on the back legs. Tail sparsely covered and reaches the shoulders. Lovely undercoat to the body which was fairly clear and soft in texture. Medium size ears which slightly tilt forward. Flat plane. Cheeks of a good width and just narrowing slightly in the muzzle. Eyes with a slightly oblique shape and medium blue in colour. Some shading to the muzzle. Gentle dip in profile and a level bite.
SEMI LH GRAND CHAMPION FEMALE;
IMP GR CC; Hack GR CH SUPATOFT SONYA usual Somali with a striking colour to the coat and lovely ticking. A moderate wedge with gently curving contours. A smile to the muzzle. Slight nose break to the profile. Level bite. Ears large and well positioned being well apart and with tufts to the tips and cupped shape. Amber colouring to the eyes which were almond in shape. Well built female with long legs and oval paws. Tail reaching the shoulders and is nicely covered. Soft texture to the coat which is close lying along the spine. Very good black ticking and black colouring to the heels. Full ruff to frame the face and good breeches. Warm apricot to the undercoat which was the same all over.
RES WH 2 Mott GR CH JANDOUGLEN SEILEACH chocolate tabby birman. Nearly four years old and of a medium size with a sleek body. Medium size ears which are well placed. Cheeks nice and full. Almost round eyes of a nice blue colouring. Slight dip in the profile. Unfortunately her bite is overshot and it was not like this the last time that I handled her and this was my reason for not awarding the certificate. Clear body coat of a silken texture. Strong tabby markings with a well marked m to the forehead. Strong markings to the legs. Tail balances with the body and is lightly furnished.
BLUE ADULT;
1 CC & BOB Nicholas ORBIS ILLUSTRIOUS BLUE only fifteen months old and a strapping lad. Very good bone and weight. Just looking a little heavy on the brow at present. Large round copper eyes which appear a touch deep set. Short broad nose with a nice stop and good size leather and nostrils. Cheeks full and round. Acceptable bite. Very well groomed coat which was pale to medium blue in colour and sound to the roots. Very soft in texture. Lightly covered tail which balances with the body.
CHOCOLATE OR LILAC BIRMAN KITTEN MALE;
1 & BOB Johnson SYRALETTE PERLE D’AZURE lilac lad of five months old. Wonderful bone structure and good weight with large paws on sturdy legs. Ears of a good size and well positioned. Strong blue colouring to the eyes which were almost round in shape. Slight dip in profile. Level bite. Cheeks full and a nicely formed muzzle. Clear body coat with some undercoat, soft to touch and nicely groomed. Tail just a little lighter in colour and reaching the shoulders. Some colour to the nose with the colour to the legs still coming through. Gloves equally marked. Socks level. Gauntlets broad and even in length. Super temperament and a pleasure to handle.
CHOCOLATE OR LILAC BIRMAN KITTEN FEMALE;
1 Brown DALTEEMA INDIGO MIST lilac baby of three months old. A wee kitten with medium bone structure and adequate weight. Ears of a medium size and well positioned. Cheeks showing a good width and the muzzle nicely rounded. Eyes almost round in shape and of a medium blue colour. Shallow profile and I would have preferred more of a dip. Level bite. Clear body coat which was soft in texture and some undercoat starting to develop. Some colour to the nose with the tail slightly lighter in colour. Tail balances with the body. Colour still coming through on the legs. Gloves scalloped. Socks well marked. Gauntlets equal in length and breadth.
2 Brown DALTEEMA TANZANITE lilac again of three months old. Medium bone structure and nice weight. Ears need to settle as they appear quite large at this time. Almost round eyes with a pale to medium blue colour. Cheeks quite full and a rounded muzzle. I would prefer more of a slight dip on the profile of this baby. Clear body coat with no undercoat at this time. Coloured area to the nose. Legs and tail are of a much lighter colouring which still has to come through. Gloves symmetrically marked. Socks level. Gauntlets broad and even.
TABBY OR TORTIE TABBY BIRMAN KITTEN;
1 Hamilton ATAKAD ANOTHER ATTOYSHARL seal tabby of seven months old. Solid lad with superb bone and very good weight. Well positioned ears of a medium size. Almost round eyes with the colour a little two tone being lighter in colour to the outer edge of the eye. Cheeks quite full and muzzle well formed. Level bite. Very minimal dip in profile and I would prefer this much stronger. Clear body coat of a soft texture and showing some undercoat. Very strong tabby markings with a well marked m and lines across the cheeks. Tabby markings to the legs. Front left marking reaches the stopper pad. Front right looks like a white spot but it is attached. Scalloped gloves. Well marked socks. Gauntlets equal in length and breadth. Tail lightly furnished reaching the shoulders and showing some brindling.
NORWEGIAN FOREST KITTEN MALE;
1 Emery SKOGVENNS ODIN blue and white lad of five months old. Well developed lad for his age. Standing taller on the back legs. Tail reaching to the neck and is well furnished. Reasonably triangular head shape but not all the sides are equilateral which will come as he develops. Medium size ears with small tufts and set high and wide at the base. Oval shaped eyes which are green in colour. Medium length to the nose which is straight in profile. Level bite. Head balance is developing. Coat of a good length with the coarse texture yet to come through. White to the chest, between the back legs and on the paws.
NORWEGIAN FOREST KITTEN FEMALE;
1 & BOB Gibson NOYNAROCK CUBANO GOLD orange eyed white girl of seven months old. Excellent length to the body and a very nicely built female with a Norwegian stance. Tail reaching just to the shoulders and is very well covered. Triangular head shape to develop as it is not yet equilateral. Well positioned ears of a good size and set high fitting well into the line of the head. Large well opened eyes of a medium orange colour. Profile just a touch short at present but straight. Level bite. Chin fairly strong. Head will balance a little more as time goes by. Coat clean ad white with a soft texture, kitten coat at the moment. Well prepared and free from any staining.
2 Baverstock MOONKIST PHOEBE silver tabby and white of six months old. Another nice exhibit with lovely bone and nice length to the body. Tail reaching to the neck and is lightly furnished. Triangular head shape yet to develop as she is still a touch short in the profile which is straight. Large ears which are bearing tiny tufts and placed high and wide at the base. Eyes slightly oblique and oval in shape with a green colouring. Level bite. Head just needs to balance a little more as she develops. A limited amount of undercoat with the top coat fairly soft and showing very much her kitten coat. White to the paws and the shirt front. It was a close decision between her and the winner.

1 Rogers GR CH MILNUSS MISS VICTORIA tortie tabby exotic. Excellent bone and a short cobby body. Rich red and very good tabby markings. Super coat texture standing away from the body.
