General Rules

The Cat Planet & Royal Canin Top GCCF Exhibit Competition is open to any GCCF Registered Adult, Kitten or Neutered Cat and Non Pedigree Cat shown at GCCF Licensed Shows.

The Cat Planet & Royal Canin Top TICA Exhibit competition is open to any TICA registered Cat, Kitten, Alter or Household Pet shown at a TICA licensed show.

The Cat Planet & Royal Canin Top Cats Competition is open to any GCCF exhibitor owning registered Adult, Kitten or Neutered Cat and any Household Pet exhibit shown at GCCF licensed shows and to GCCF Breeders naming three cats holding their own prefix, these 'Top Cats' can be different breeds, each cat can only represent either one exhibitor or one breeder, they cannot enter under more than one entrant. The minimum of two cats must be listed on entry and a third can be entered during the show year.

Breeders and Exhibitors must join the Competition to be able to claim points – Details of joining the competition can be found on www.catplanet.co.uk or in Cat Planet Monthly Magazine. For the Top GCCF exhibit competition, entrants do not need to re-register.

The 2011/2012 Competition is open from 12 noon 1st June 2011 to 12 noon 31st May 2012.

Points must be claimed calendar monthly by the 7th of the following month through the online forms at www.catplanet.co.uk

All points claimed must be able to be verified by Cat Planet and so if the open results are not received for your section within 5 days of the date of the show, they cannot be verified, details on how to email in scanned results or templates to type up results can be obtained from This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. No late entries or backdated points are accepted, however you may join the competition at any time throughout the show calendar year.

Monthly league tables will be published in the month following the closing date of the competition month on either the Cat Planet website or in the Cat Planet Magazine.

Each section's winner for each month will receive a 2kg bag of RC food which is collectable from the Purrsonal Touch stand at shows around the country, each winner will also receive a FREE sitting with Robert Fox, redeemable only at shows across the country Robert is attending, the sitting will include one digital copy of one picture that will be emailed to you featuring the RC/CP Comp logo and copyright details for use on your website, these winners will win on points achieved in THAT MONTH and not cumulatively.

Robert Fox pictures won for the Top Exhibit Competition must be used by the exhibit concerned.

Robert Fox pictures won for the Top Cats Competition must be used by one of the three exhibits concerned.

In the event of a tie break at Position ONE of the Monthly league tables and/or the Overall Exhibit/Breeder at the end of the year, the entrant achieving the MOST points at the LEAST shows will be deemed the winner.

Mistakes made by an entrant to their detriment will not be corrected after the monthly closing date, mistakes made by the entrant resulting in a benefit to position will incur a 'strike' - 3 strikes received will result in disqualification from the competition.

General Terms and Conditions

The Promoter (“Promoter”) of this competition is Cat Planet.

There is no cash or other alternative to the prize stated and the prize is not transferable and no part or parts of the prize may be substituted for other benefits, items or additions.

The winner(s) may be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize and must receive the prize in person.

The Promoter’s decision is final and binding on the entrants. No correspondence will be entered into. Prizes can only be sent to a valid UK address unless otherwise stated.

Unless otherwise stated, the competition is open to all GCCF Registered Breeders or Exhibitors who are residents of the UK and ROI aged 18 or over, except employees of the Promoter and their associated, affiliated or subsidiary companies, and their families, agents, or anyone connected with this competition, including the third party promotional partners.

The winner is responsible for ensuring they are able to accept the prize as set out and in accordance with these terms and conditions, in the event they are unable to do so then the Promoter reserves the right to reallocate the prize.

An eligible entrant must be an individual and must submit an entry in the form provided by the Promoter under this promotion including their name, address and e-mail address.

By entering, all eligible entrants agree to abide by each and all these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right, with or without cause, to exclude entrants and withhold prizes for violating any of these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Any amendments will be published on the websites of the Promoter.

By entering, any subsequent prize winners agree to allow the free use of their names, photographs and general locations for publicity and news purposes during this and future promotions by the Promoter or any associated or subsidiary company of the promoter.

The Promoter reserves the right to publish all or parts of entries, and publication does not necessarily mean that the entrant has won a prize. The Promoter reserves the right to edit entries in its discretion for publication. Entrants will retain copyright in their submitted entries; however, by entering, all entrants give the Promoter a worldwide royalty free perpetual license to edit, publish and use all or segments of each entry in any and all media (including print and online) for publicity and news purposes. In particular, all entrants license the Promoter the right to print their entry on the Promoter’s website and in print.

Entrant details received by The Promoter will be shared with the competition sponsor, Royal Canin.

Use of personal data received by the Promoter in the course of the promotion are subject to the privacy policy found on the Promoter’s website Winners' names may be published on the Promoters website.

Completion and submission of an entry form will be deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

The Promoter reserves the right at any time to cancel, modify or supersede the competition (including altering prizes) if, in their sole discretion, a competition is not capable for being conducted as specified. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value in the event that circumstances beyond their control make this unavoidable.
